iMessage actication fails in Iran

Hello

Why on my iPhone 6s iMessage will not be activated with my phone number?

My carrier is MCI and I know how this works, but why Apple have not found a way to solve this problem... cause it was OK before in Iran but its been a while now, this feature does not work in Iran like many other...

BTW there are hundreds of thousands of Iranians who have iPhones and they all have this problem as simple many many other problems with their iPhones in Iran.

iMessage activation requires international exchanges of SMS messages with the activation of Apple servers to the United Kingdom. Apple does not do business in Iran at all, regardless of the number of people in Iran have iPhones. Using an iPhone in Iran is not supported by Apple.

  • 9.2 messages will not send any messages on MacBook

I am running OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6 on a MacBook Pro 15 "retina (mid-2015) with 9.2 Messages. I also have an iPhone running iOS 10.0.1 6.

A few days ago, I got an alert that someone had logged on to iMessage on iPhone 4S that I didn't own. I changed my password, and since I was not able to use the Messages on my MacBook. If I try to send a message using my phone number, he is trying to send a text message and fails. If I try to send from an email address, it sends as an iMessage and fails immediately. Everything works fine on my iPhone, but the conversations from my iPhone will not sync to my MacBook.

I signed into messages on my MacBook and iPhone. I signed out and back several times on both. My phone number and email are all verified in the context of "you are reachable by iMessage to. I tried to remove the content in ~/Library/Messages/ and empty the trash. I rebooted my MacBook several times. Nothing has worked so far.

Anyone know what I need to do?

    May be a corrupt .plist.

Make a backup, preferably 2 backups on 2 separate drives.

    Quit the application.

Go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Select the library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.iChat.plist.  Move the .plist on your desktop.

Restart your computer, open the application and test. If it works fine, delete the plist for the office.

If the application is the same, return the .plist where you got it, crushing the latest.

If this does not work, repeat the above, but remove the com.apple.imagent.plist

  • have I been blocked by an iphone?

I know this question has been asked a million times, I read so many answers different, but thought that I wonder...

I sent a few text messages a bit to a particular iphone user, initially they were sending and saying "delivered" with the blue bubble. Maybe a few hours later they started to be sent in the form of green text messages (I have my on SMS, FYI). I sent a message the next day and on my phone, he started blue, and then sent as text green... even on my iPad that he sent green text. I waited all day, no response. I sent 2 messages more and on my phone they eventually send as text messgages green, but on my iPad, they are always blue, but say not "delivered" below.

Have I been blocked or their phone would be disabled or cellular data down?

I'm too nervous to call the number to see if it rings once and goes to voicemail... Can someone give me a straight answer on why this is happening and why it appears differently on my iphone and ipad?

For iMessage work, the two parties must have active iMessage, both must have a working internet connection, either cellular or Wi - Fi. If none of this is interrupted, iMessage can fail. Because it takes the sender verified for your, then he will strive to SMS send as a text Message. If the receiver does not have an SMS plan with their carrier, then they would not receive the SMS. If reception has blocked you, you would then receive any notification in this regard, and your messages just not make the receiver. No way for you to be sure that the question may be.

The only way to be absolutely sure that if you blocked would be to communicate with the person, but then again, they can't tell you. It is the only 100% way to be sure all blocked as the sender.

  • The iMessage and Facetime activation failed on El Capitan, after update

I've updated the OS X of El Capital, and since I can't activate iMessage or Facetime. They just keep trying to connect and not, or when an iMessage connects, I try to check the box "Enable this account", it keeps loading and nothing happens. I have attached an entry in the console app: http://pastebin.com/9sNL5hrv

    Any help?

    Hello

The stuff of Pastebin simply confirms that you are not connected.

Go upstairs to the left Menu Apple and select "at about this Mac"

In El Capitan (Yosemite) the Preview tab displays the serial number.

    Can see you your?

In system preferences > users and groups to enable the guest account option or create a 'test' Mac user account.

Log on to your regular Mac user and the other account and set up Messages > iMessages account.

    It connect?

If you have the serial number visible (present) BUT impossible to connect the two Mac then the Apple ID used user account has been blocked at the server iMessages.

Are there opportunities you have migrated this Mac from another Mac user?

If yes the keychain could contain info on the 'bad' serial number.

Go to Applications/Utilities and open Keychain Access app.

Have "Login:"Passwords"at the bottom left and top left."

Find the right pane for "ID: YourApple ID- Auth Token" and delete it (the bit "your Apple ID" should be an email)

    Try again Message.

It may not work because this security feature may have blocked your ID (specifically the Mac) on the iMessages server.

  • iMessage/Facetime activation on iOS 10 bug

    Hello

The bug appeared after the first intentional reboot after iOS 10 updated, my iPhone 5 has been disconnected for a few hours. When it started I started to receive petitions of iM/FT on reboot or a random time after even if iM/FT completely!

I did not move my SIM card. If I refuse to activate iM I can't see my phone number in the Contacts section.

The same bug persists on the iPhone of my 5s wife while his phone has never been disconnected except 10.0.2 update.

    Hi Valsh,

Here is how to fix iMessage / FaceTime activation do not question.

Before you begin, you'll need sort these things:

    • Make sure that in the phone application, you got your registered number. On top of "Contacts", you should see your registered number (My Number :). If not, you will need to go to settings → → my phone number and enter your number.
    • Make sure that the Date and time (in general) are correct. Set to "Set automatically" to ensure that the time zone is correct and the iPhone is at the right time.
    • Also make sure you have a working network. Problems of Wi - fi can cause iMessage activation problems therefore have active cell.
For some users, the message for activation goes out as an international SMS. Make sure that your carrier allows these and you have a sufficient amount to send them.

    1. contact your operator

First of all, make sure that your carrier supports iMessage or not. Contact the support team of carrier and check any condition limiting on your iMessage, blocks or text filters.

    2. airplane mode

As strange as it sounds, maybe you should try this method if nothing else works. We found the airplane mode activation mode in one of the discussions. It sounds simple, and if it is correct, it would be nice, right?

    Here's how it works:

Step #1. Get off at scroll → settings touch Messages and turn offiMessage (also turn off FaceTime)

Step #2. Turn on airplane mode. WiFi will be disabled automatically.

    Step #3: Turn ON Wifi.

Step #4. Return to Messages and ignition iMessage.

Step #5. You will be prompted for your Apple ID if you have not yet added it. (otherwise, you get no notification)

Step #6. Now, go back to the settings and disable airplane mode.

Step #7. For the most part, you will see a notification that says "your carrier may charge for SMS" - press OK

Step #8. If this is not the case, go to Messages, disable iMessage and then turn on again.

Step #9. In a few moments, iMessage should be enabled.

Step #10. You will see a greyed number and e-mail ID. A little later, the number should be checked, and that's all.

    3 Apple ID disconnect, connect

Sometimes, you just need to logout of your identifier Apple and then sign in again.

Step #1. Under Settings → Message, scroll up to where it says 'Send and receive'and tap on it.

Step #2. Type on the Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.

Step #3. Now turn off iMessage.

Step #4. Wait for a while (toggle Wifi) and then turn on the iMessage.

Step #5. Enter the details of your Apple ID now and try to reactivate iMessage

    4. set or restore

If things do not work, you must first reset the settings of your location, then the iPhone. Reset is just a force so restart your data stays secure. After the reset, you will just connect with your Apple and implementing iMessage like new.

If this fails, you may need to restore the iPhone as new or from a backup.

    Hope this helps,

    See you soon.

  • Siri are not sent by SMS in iMessage (OS Sierra)

This seems to be a strange problem that I can not find a solution. My Macbook is connected to my iPhone SE. They all run the two most recent software updates.

When I manually type my messages (in iMessage) on my Macbook to a non - iOS user, everything works perfectly (message sent is green). The problem is Siri. When I use Siri orders to send text messages to a user non - iOS (on my Macbook), she will not send SMS, only iMessage (blue). This causes the red exclamation point saying that the message send failed. If I click on "try again" on this error, the message (green now) sends very well.
On my iPhone, text messages transfer is set up and send as SMS is turned on.

So, how can I me Siri to use SMS and send text messages to my contacts non - iOS without having to press 'try again' on each message? Note that this command works fine on my iPhone.

When you type a message what receiver do you use?

When you use Siri one used?

You have several entries in your application to Contact for this person? Maybe it's select the wrong one.

  • Will not activate my iPhone iMessage/FaceTime

I have an iPhone 6 s (T-Mobile carrier) and recently updated to iOS 9.3.4.

Last night my iMessage ceased to deliver my messages in two group discussions and would only send messages through text messages that received no my friends. A friend uses his email on his iPod for cat. I couldn't send anyone or a group of messages to anyone in these group discussions, but I could always send messages to other people. My FaceTime work again very well. So this afternoon I was looking for solutions to this problem. Many people suggested closing iMessage and FT, then by restarting my phone, I did. But when I turned my phone on iMessage and FT wouldn't activate. Since then the iMessages and FT have tried to activate, but kept a failure, errors, or servers have failed. I can't send messages or FaceTime anyone.

    I tried:

    The network reset

Change the Date and time on Auto

    Ignition and extinction of iMessage/FT

I also try to discuss with the Apple Support, but it takes awhile.

  • iMessage discounts, then sent in the form of text

    Hello

I sent an iMessage that was delivered. Thirty seconds later, I sent the same contact another message that came as delivered as text. No idea why?

    thsnks.

The ability to send/receive iMessages depends on both sides, the sender (you) and the receiver. If the data access is interrupted by the other, then the message can either fail, or if you send as SMS check in iMessage, he'll go as an SMS. These anomalies can occur, it attaches once everyone has an active connection to the internet.

  • Why no iMessage send photos from my MacBook Pro?

I've got OS X El Capitan installed on my MacBook Pro and my iMessage 10.11.5 version is version 9.2.

All texts send perfectly well, but if I try to send a picture or, God forbid, a video, iMessage slows down and takes an eternity trying to download it, to eventually fail and send nothing at all. He will then proceed to deliver texts that I had put on hold after the photos / videos.

And it shows a red exclamation point next to the text containing the photograph, but once again, if I try to send it back, I realize the same frustrating result.

I have no idea of what could be the cause, since I have 35 GB free of my memory of 120 GB and all my software is up to date...

I tried to disconnect from the iMessage, quit the application, and then open it again and reconnect... Still no results.

    Help please

  • FaceTime / iMessage account numbers

I transferred the SIM card from my daughter for his iPhone iPad - everything works well except the FaceTime and iMessage.

On her iPhone, it can do FaceTime / iMessage with the "phone number" and the email address set up his account of Apple. However, it also has a gmail id that she used on her iPad FaceTime / iMessage. When we try to add this email to FaceTime / iMessage on the iPhone, as a third 'send and receive' address, we get the activation failed message - "unable to vΘrifier email because it is already in use."

    We tried several options, including:

    • reset the settings iPad "factory".
    • disconnected (e) Apple ID account from his iPhone & the MBP (including iMessage & FaceTime)
    • Reconnect on the Apple account and configuration iMessage & FaceTime on the iPhone and the MBP
      • the 'phone number' and email associated with the added fine Apple account identification
      • but adding the old iPad gmail id as a third 'Send and receive' address still doesn't work

Any help in getting this old id gmail as a third 'Send and receive' address to iMessage & FaceTime will be greatly appreciated!

I had these questions (iMessage, etc.). I usually get things to agin by runnig

    1. turn on and outside iMessage

    2 reset the network settings

    3 reset all settings

More recently, reset all settings fixed things. Kind of a pain because you have to fix your wallpaper and change a number of return parameters, but it tends to work pretty well if all else fails. Certainly better than the restoration and the establishment of a phone as new, which is the next step if reset all settings does not help.

  • iPhone 6 on EE - iMessage will not send pictures

My iphone 6 ceased to send pictures through iMessage.

It sends the text through iMessage iMessage works. I tried on wifi and EE 4 g, makes no difference. Receives photos and text via fine imessage. IMessage picture just coming out that is affected.

    Tried:

    Reset the phone

    Turn imessage

    Turn FaceTime

    Toggle flight mode

Signature to iCloud and folder in

etc (as well as making several of the foregoing in unison)

Wierdly the only time wherever it works is if I send to myself.

When you send someone else, it takes a while, and then the blue bar goes and he says comes under. Then a few minutes after that he changed to fail. Tried to send to several other people and these people can all receive iMessage pictures from third parties is only me that is affected.

I repeat... iMessage works as it sends the text via is not the settings in this sense. It is also not the image size I tried those who have worked in the past.

Any ideas? I tried everything I saw in google searches.

    Thank you

iMessage uses data, that this is just a message including a photo. You mention he happens on a wi - fi provided cell also, is that correct? When you talk to reset the phone, are you referring to reset in now the home and sleep/wake set buttons until you see the Apple logo and then release for the iPhone to reboot?

IMessage requires an active internet connection on both sides of the conversation, the sender and recipient. Have you checked with the people you send it? Have you been able to receive a picture of someone with iMessage, wi - fi or cellular? You say that you can send an iMessage with just the text, have you tried to send a picture to someone immediately after their sending just an iMessage with text? iMessage shows that it is active, correct?

The following troubleshooting steps include resetting the network settings, backup restore, factory restore, testing after each step.

PS Ce which means 'abo in the Union?  Nevermind, I see you have edited that.

  • Unable to send or receive photos in iMessage on LTE of wifi.

Recently upgraded to the iPhone 5 s 6 s more, I've never had this problem before, but whenever I try to send a picture, he attempts to send and then I get "failed to send message." Also whenever someone tries to send me a picture, I get "tap to download" and then it never downloads. Is there s solution for this? Is this something on the end of Verizon?

You must follow a few steps:

Stop and restart iMessage and FaceTime

    1. go to settings > Messages and turn off of iMessage.

    2. go to settings > FaceTime and turn off FaceTime.

    3. restart your device.

4 turn on iMessage and FaceTime.

  • Group chat iMessage

When you use iMessage group chat, when I get a message, it is up on my lock screen. I slide to the left for the answer, I press on send and then I get a notification saying "failed to send message." This is because when I look at how he has sent, it has not sent on the group chat, but it sends on any of my contacts, just "unknown." I don't know why this is happening, it happens all the time now and is really irritating me!

    Thank you.

Seems like a strange question, I've ever heard off the coast.
