FaceTime / iMessage account numbers

I transferred the SIM card from my daughter for his iPhone iPad - everything works well except the FaceTime and iMessage.

On her iPhone, it can do FaceTime / iMessage with the "phone number" and the email address set up his account of Apple. However, it also has a gmail id that she used on her iPad FaceTime / iMessage. When we try to add this email to FaceTime / iMessage on the iPhone, as a third 'send and receive' address, we get the activation failed message - "unable to vΘrifier email because it is already in use."

We tried several options, including:

  • reset the settings iPad "factory".
  • disconnected (e) Apple ID account from his iPhone & the MBP (including iMessage & FaceTime)
  • Reconnect on the Apple account and configuration iMessage & FaceTime on the iPhone and the MBP
    • the 'phone number' and email associated with the added fine Apple account identification
    • but adding the old iPad gmail id as a third 'Send and receive' address still doesn't work

Any help in getting this old id gmail as a third 'Send and receive' address to iMessage & FaceTime will be greatly appreciated!

I had these questions (iMessage, etc.). I usually get things to agin by runnig

1. turn on and outside iMessage

2 reset the network settings

3 reset all settings

More recently, reset all settings fixed things. Kind of a pain because you have to fix your wallpaper and change a number of return parameters, but it tends to work pretty well if all else fails. Certainly better than the restoration and the establishment of a phone as new, which is the next step if reset all settings does not help.

    I guess you want to keep your cookies but not your history. You can select what is removed when you close Firefox in Options > privacy > select "use the custom settings for history". Once you have finished, click on 'Settings' in front "Clear history of Firefox closing" and uncheck the box 'Cookies' and 'Site Préférences'.

    My old mobile number indicates Facetime and Imessage and activation keeps being unsuccessful or an error has occurred, probably because the sms goes to the old number.     This is because one of the configuration files of the iPhone disables it for iPhones with AB, AE and AH maybe just before the / is their model numbers. If a Middle East SIM card in the iPhone, it can substitute for it, but no SIM card non - Middle Eastern won't. There is no other way to substitute it, or get FaceTime on your iPhone outside the Middle East.

    My account imessages list shows only Hello. There is no account iMessages or anywhere to connect with my Apple ID. El Capitan, up to date. By clicking on the sign more only shows AIM, Jabber, google, yahoo, etc., where is iMessages sign in option?

    Please take each of the following steps that you have not already tried it. Stop when the problem is resolved.

    1. exit the application. Force quit if necessary.

    I have exactly the same problem. I have an ipad 2, using 9.2.1. I have problems with Facetime and iMessage. I tried all of the suggestions I found on the internet, such as:

    • hard reset (duh!);
    • Logging out of my ID apple and logging, then return
    • turning my date and time setting to set automatically.
    • turn on airplane mode, then turning on wi - fi;
    • Restore my factory default network configuration.

    Somehow, iMessage features have been restored, although I can't figure out why it was restored. I checked after each blow dry and found no change. Then all of a sudden, it was restored to iMessage.

    I still can't use Facetime. I'm reluctant to try to do everything above again because I'm afraid that I'll lose iMessage.

    Follow these steps.

    1. Click on the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | Private life.
    2. In the drop down at the top, change it to "use the custom settings for history".
    3. Remove the check mark from 'remember search and form history'.
    4. Delete it also from 'delete history Firefox closing"unless you specifically want to delete. But if you want to leave in place, open the submenu by clicking on the 'Settings' button and decide in this menu that you want to keep.

    There is no native function in Muse to do. However, you can try to find the code for such a meter online button and if you can get the code, you can insert it using the function "insert HTML code" in Muse.
