As Galo indicated Balda, your child table (LEGO. ESTACT) has a folder that does not exist in your table parent (LEGO. ESTOP) and this effect is impossible to create the foreign key.

You can find the recordings by running:

    select estop_id from LEGO.ESTACT -- CHILD TABLE
    minus
    select estop_id from LEGO.ESTOP -- PARENT TABLE

AFTER BACK YOU UP YOUR DATA, you need to create the new record in the parent table or remove the child table record in order to comply with the foreign key constraint.

    Hello

the fact that you connect to IMPDP AKK1 wants not to say that the import will be in the schema AKK1. Unless you remap the schema explicitly, importation is made as is, that is to say SCOTT. DEPT will go to the SCOTT schema.

Are there errors in the database alert log? This may indicate a corruption LOB - pl run scripts in MOS Doc 787004.1 to check

    (b) how it would be possible to import the dump mentioned above in (A) in (B)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Michel

    Hello
It seems ike datapump has somehow been corrupted somehow. You can recharge at 11.2 by running:

@?/rdbms/admin/catproc.sql as SYS (connections to is arrested all get it first).

    Then try again.

I don't really use XE, but I don't see why datapump doesn't work - some function/feature can be turned off, but the main feature is expected to be there.

  • IMPDP SQLFILE: constraint_name multibyte characters leads to ORA-00972

    Hello

    I'm actually constraint_name made of multibyte characters (for example: constrain_name = "VALIDA_CONFIRMAÇÃO_PREÇO13").
Of course this Bad Idea® is hereditary (I'm against all the stuff of fantasy as water in the names of files or directories on my filesystem...)

    The scenario is as follows:
0 - I'm supposed to do a 'remap_schema '. Everything in the schema SCOTT should now be in a schema NEW_SCOTT.
1 - the scott schema is exported via datapump
2 - I'm an impdp with SQLFILE to remove all the DDL (table, packages, synonyms, etc...)
    3. I do a few sed on the sqlfile generated to replace each occurrence of SCOTT at NEW_SCOTT (this part is OK)
    4. once the modified sqlfile is executed, I'm doing an impdp with DATA_ONLY.

(The scenario was envisioned in this thread: {message identifier: = 10628419})

I get a few ORA-00972: identifier is too long to step 4, when you run the sqlfile.
I see that some DDL for creating the constraint in the file (generated in step # 2) is read as follows:
ALTER TABLE "TW_PRI"."B_TRANSC" ADD CONSTRAINT "VALIDA_CONFIRMAÃÃO_PREÃO14" CHECK ...
Of course, the original name of the constraint with the cedilla and the tilde translates to something that is longer than 30 char/byte...

As the original name is the Brazil, I also tried to add an EXPORT LANG = pt_BR. UTF-8 in my script before you run the impdp for sqlfile. It doesn't change anything. (the original $LANG is en_US. UTF-8)

To create a unit test for this thread, I tried to reproduce it on my sandbox database... but, I don't have the issue. :-(

The real system is a database of 4-nodes on Exadata (11.2.0.3) with NLS_CHARACTERSET = AL32UTF8.
My sandbox database is a 11.2.0.1 (nonRAC) on RHEL4 AL32UTF8 also.

The constraint_name argument is the same on the two system: I checked byte by byte using DUMP() on the constraint_name argument.

Feel free to make light and/or seek clarification if necessary.

Thanks in advance for those who will take their time to read all this.
    :-)

I decided to register my testcase to my sandbox database, even if it does NOT reproduce the issue + (maybe I'm missing something obvious...) +.

    Hello
I had some strange effects if I didn't set the translation be utf8 in my ssh client (PuTTY in my case). Is - this somehow something that automatically happens in an environment, but not the other?

In putty, this is the window-> translation and then choose utf8

Also make sure that's not sed plague rather than impdp?

    See you soon,.

  • With the help of expdp/impdp in pump data

    Hi all

I am newbie in oracle database through the use of data import and export oracle data pump. I use Oracle 10 g 2 on Windows 7

After you create the directory object 'test_dir' and the granting of read, write privilege to user scott, I connect like scott to the database and create the table 'test' with two rows.

Then I run expdp command prompt as follows:

    C:\users\administrator > expdp scott/tiger@orcl tables = happy test = all = TEST_DIR dumpfile = test.dmp expdp_test.log = logfile directory

    Export: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - Production on Monday, June 13, 2011 20:20:54

My question is why data pump seem to export the table 'test' without lines (that is to say the line: exported 'SCOTT'.) ("' TEST ' 0Ko 0 lines)? How can I do it with the associated export lines?

I dropped the table test, then I ran the command impdp as follows:

    C:\users\administrator > impdp scott/tiger tables = content test = all = TEST_DIR dumpfile = Test.dmp impdp_test.log = logfile directory

Please someone with an idea to this topic... What I expected after operation data in table view pump it could export and import table with the data if I'm not mistaken.

    Export is disagreeing with you.
have you COMMITTED after INSERT & before export?

  • Is there a self-cleaning of the TABLEs not referenced after surgery impdp?

Assume the following sequence of operations:

(1.) I export a complete database with expdp in a dumpfile
2.) I create a new TABLE "mytab" (resp. more generally a object). References/entries in this table will be added to a couple of tables system "all_tables", "dba_tab_privs" and others.
3.) now I import the previously exported dumpfile to return in the original database with parameter
    TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION = REPLACE FULL = Y

This operation would replace the table "all_tables' (resp. the table behind this point of view system).
The reference to "mytab" is getting lost. This is similar to an object that is not referenced in C++ (which must be released) or an object not referenced in Java that is removed by the garbage collector.

How such an orphaned table/object is managed in Oracle?

Is there a!-up or a warning?

    Peter

If you create a table after you export and an import complete export the table you created after that export has been carried out, mytable in your example, should not be affected by import. RDBMS database tables are not superimposed my full import rather the DDL created as part of the export updates base tables.

Where the table exists the create table in dmp file errors out and impdp (or imp) just ignores the error and continues to stage data loading. The stage of loading data capture and does not take into account continuous duplicate key errors to try to insert data until there is no more to this table, then he goes to try to create the index for the table.

At least that's how exp/imp has worked and I have not noticed any behavior change with expdp/impdp, although I haven't used utilities heavily again.

    HTH - Mark D Powell.

Note: the above applies when you import in the db of the source, and not another where you expect changes once the dmp file was made to not be present in the default behavior for a full import to do not destroy the existing database and re-create dmp file. To re-create the tablespaces was the default behavior with version 6.

  • Full expdp and impdp: one db to another

    Hello! Nice day!

I would like to ask for any help with my problem.

I would like to create a full database export and import them to a different database. This data base 2 are on separate computers.
I try to use the expdp and impdp tool for this task. However, I experienced some problems during the import task.

Here are the details of my problems:

When I try to impdp the dump file, it seems that I was not able to import data and metadata to the user.

Here is the exact command that I used during the import and export of task:

    Export (Server n ° 1)

    expdp user01 / * directory = ora3_dir full = y dumpfile=db_full%U.dmp filesize = parallel 2 logfile = db_full.log G = 4

    import (Server #2)
    Impdp user01 / * directory = ora3_dir dumpfile=db_full%U.dmp full = y log = db_full.log sqlfile = db_full.sql estimate = parallel blocks = 4

Here is the log that was generated during the impdp runs:

    Thank you in advance.

The good news is that your dumpfile seems fine. It has metadata and data.

I looked through your impdp command and found your problem. You have added the sqlfile parameter. This indicates datapump to create a file that can be run from sqlplus. In fact, it is not objects. It also excludes data because data could get pretty ugly in a sqlfile.

    Here's your impdp command:

    Impdp user01 / * directory = ora3_dir dumpfile=db_full%U.dmp full = y log = db_full.log sqlfile = db_full.sql...

    Just remove the

    sqlFile = db_full. SQL

After you run your first job, you will have a file named db_full.sql that has all the inside create statements. After you remove the sqlfile parameter, your import will work.
