Import all photos in iPhone 5S for Windows7

I have the iPhone 5 s and I'm trying to make sure that all of my images are saved on my Windows 7 computer before the upgrade. In addition, I really could use the extra space.

I plugged in my phone and waited for the Windows drive is displayed. I selected "Import pictures and videos" using Windows Explorer. He then proceeds to find photos on my iPhone.

In iTunes under "on the device", he showed on the bar of color at the bottom that I 5 500 photos on my phone (6.63 GB) and under properties on my phone, it shows 6.6 GB of photos. But, Windows Explorer found only 1 561 photos and he did import and save those. But, where are the rest of my photos and how do I get Windows Explorer to find and import them?

How can I know if Windows Explorer imported pictures of my phone? And why are there at - it such a big gap between what my phone said he has and what Windows was actually able to find?

I did the same back-up on my iPod Touch (5th Gen) (all same) and Windows Explorer has found all the pictures, but none of the videos, how can I get Windows Explorer to find the videos saved on my iPhone and iPod?

Thanks in advance to all!

Only the photos and videos in your "film" can be transferred to your PC.  I suspect the other photos and videos were initially placed on the phone via a synchronization operation using iTunes.  You would need to look at the third-party software to get those transferred.

  • Cannot transfer photos from iPhone 6s for iMac.

    Configurations:

    OS X EL Capitan - 10.11.4

    Photos App - 1.5 (370.42.0)

    iPhone iOS 6s - 9.3.1

As you can see that I use all the stuff leading up to the most recent software available. I have seen this recently and have tried almost all the possible solutions, provided by apple support as, cable only apple, direct connection to the iMac, iPhone-imac is restarted.

Basically when I try to copy my photos on iMac iPhone connecting to through apple cable and open the photos app in iMac. just as it was before my iPhone will appear in the import section, and from there it would begin loading photos available for importing photos from my iPhone here. But now it starts to load pictures (empty skeletons), but before he can load images iPhone disappears from the photos app, so I'm not able to transfer my photos. I know there are tons so as to move the photos to iMac, but technically it should work too (my favorite and the easiest of all).

    experience tried

    (1) I also tried with the option/alt and start iMac touch; s app photos to create a new library to see if it works this way, no luck.

    (2) the iPhone at the moment appears click on import button photos all without selecting the photos, it starts to copy some but after awhile, it fails with the iPhone in endangered and above screenshot attached failure msg.

are there problems at pictures of mac side app or iPhone app. I keep my stuff to date so not sure when you have this problem started. I suspect it all started when I activated video 4K on my iPhone but not sure than just a speculation.

any kind of suggestion will be useful thanks.

    Hi damdude,

Thank you for your participation in the communities of Support from Apple.

I see that your iPhone is not recognized by your iMac or Photos when you try to import images into your photo library. Have you tried several good troubleshooting steps. Because the same thing happens in a new library of Photos, try to import images using Image Capture -Capture of Image: transfer images and other elements of your device.

If the same thing happens with the Image Capture, I recommend trying to import the photos to another computer, as mentioned If you can not import photos from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your computer:

If the same problem occurs on a different computer, restore the device and put it up as a new.

If you need to restore your iPhone, you can save it using iCloud, so you won't lose your latest photos. Another option could backfire on iCloud photo library. For these steps, see How to back up your device using iCloud or iTunes and iCloud FAQ Photo library.

    Sincerely.

  • Delete all photos on iPhone by mistake. Can I get back them?

    Greetings mutyurke

From your post, it seems you deleted all your photos and removed the recently deleted photos thinking that they would still be in the cloud.

Looks like you could possibly use iCloud photo library. If you take a look at this article: iCloud Photo library FAQ - Apple Support

If you have active iCloud photo library photos are synced to all your devices include in iCloud. If you delete a photo off of one device, it is deleted on all devices, including in iCloud.

    Take care.

  • LR5: Why can't import my photos again after use for editing in Lightroom?

    Hello!

A week ago I just changed 800 photos from my last vacation in Lightroom 5.2. After have exported them, I noticed that I don't check the quality parameters for export, so I tried to import the files of origin again.

And this is where I have questions right now. I can not open them more. If they are available, they are shaded in grey and are not selectable:

    not selectable.JPG

To return to the original holiday file, it seems to me that it is only possible to import these photos I did not choose to edit in Lightroom before:

    onlysome.JPG

I tested other original files of photos I've already edited in Lightroom and they work. It is only on these holiday photos. The export, images holiday edition appear in Lightroom to import. It seems that Lightroom has problems with the original that has been imported to Lightroom once files. An update to 5.6 LR did not help. Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Patrick

You don't re - import photos into Lightroom. There is no need to do it and it would only cause problems.

For those photos that you can not import, you can just find them in the library Module and continue to use (if you want to export again in different settings, then you export from the existing photo in the library module)

  • LR3.6 can not import all photos in a folder. Only "sees" ~ 1800 of 2267. Help?

I exported 2267 images from Aperture to an external drive in an original format with original file names. I tried to import them into LR3.6 and she won't recognize about 1800 of them.  Files are made up of RAW and Jpg files and maybe a few Tiffs. RAW files are a Canon 10 d, Nikon D60 and a Nikon D3s... from what I can tell, it does not categorically exclude one of them.  I use an iMac 27 quad-core "."  When I imported the files into another Aperture library on a different computer, he acknowledged all the files. I use LR for most of my stuff and the opening of the "family album."

    I can't understand why LR won't see/import all files.

    Help?

    Thank you.

    -Alex.

You have the preference to treat JPEG files next to raws as separate files audited?  If you do not, they will not be imported.

  • Supprimer delete photos on iPhone, keep on mac using ICloud?

Hello! How do I remove photos from my iPhone and always keep them on my mac? I use iCloud and have about 50 GB of Photos on my phone. My plan is bigger than that, but again, I don't want to have that many photos on my iPhone (but keep them on my mac). Is this possible? I tried to import on my Mac, but it doesn't show me all the pictures are on my phone. It shows me about 3000 instead of 11000... TIA

    Julievite g ' Day,.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you want to remove photos from your iPhone, but still keep the photos on your Mac. Use the article import pictures and videos from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to import all the photos from your iPhone to your Mac, more specifically, this section:

    Import into your Mac.

You can use Photos for OS X to import photos from your iOS device to your Mac without using iCloud photo library. This procedure also works for the import of images from digital cameras and SD cards.

    1. Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or digital camera to your Mac with a USB cable. If you use an SD card, insert it into the SD slot on your Mac, or connect using a card reader.
    2. You need to unlock your iOS device using your access code. You can also see a prompt on the device iOS asking you to Trust This Computer. Tap the confidence to continue.
    3. On your Mac, the Photos app automatically opens. If not, open the Photos app.
    4. The Photos app shows a screen of import with all photos and videos that can be found on the connected device. If the import screen does not automatically appear, click the Import tab at the top of the Photos app, or click on the name of the device in the sidebar of Photos.
    5. To import a selection of photos, click the ones you want, and then click Import selection. To import all new pictures, click Import all Photos again.
    6. Once the import is complete, a message asks if you want to delete or keep the photos on your device. Click on remove items to remove photos or click on keep items to keep them on the device.
If you select keep items, you will need to remove them directly from your device when you want to remove.
    7. You can now disconnect your device from your Mac. If you imported photos from an SD card or USB, safely eject the device first device.

Imported photos appear in the album last import of the Photos app.

Photos and videos that sync you from your computer on your device iOS through iTunes can be imported to your computer.

Know what to do If you can not import pictures from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer.

Once you have made sure all the photos have been imported to your Mac, you can then safely remove them from your iPhone. The iPhone user guide has the steps to remove photos from your iPhone, in particular, this section:

Delete a picture or video from pictures. Click on the Photos tab, tap the photo or video, press on , then press to remove the Photo or video delete. Deleted photos and videos are stored in the album recently deleted on iPhone, with a badge showing the remaining days until the item is permanently deleted from the iPhone. To permanently delete the photo or video before the days expire, tap the item, tap on delete, then remove the Photo or video delete. If you use iCloud photo library, deleted photos and videos are permanently removed from all your devices using iCloud photo library with the same Apple ID.

    See you soon!

  • Import records Photos

My camera has a fancy feature that allows me to group photos into folders.  It's really convenient when I take pictures of several different items at the same time.  For example, 5 pictures of my daughter, then my car, my house, 7 10 15 my daughter, 10 of my house, a little more than my car, etc..  When I paste my memory card in the SD slot and import all photos gets sorted in chronological order - so that on my camera, I have a daughter record, a record of the car and a home folder.  Even if I go to the last import and create a new album, it puts ALL of the photos that I imported all in one folder - which completely eliminates my organization of the camera.

In iPhoto I could open the SD card in a Finder window and drag and drop folders into iPhoto and it maintained the integrity of the individual folders, but Photos does not seem to do that.  Any ideas?

If you want to keep files separated into Photos, import new pictures in each folder of daughter of folders, file of the car and record home separately and create standard albums for previous events in iPhoto.

    • Open the file in the Finder.
    • Launch of Photos.  Come on in "file > import".  In the file chooser, navigate to the folder 'girl '.   Select the new pictures in this folder and import them.
    • Now open the album 'Last import' and select all the photos in this smart album and create a new photo album of the last import.
    • In the sidebar, drag this album in your iPhotoEvents folder.

Repeat for your other files on the card.

See old Toaduser Tip: Moments in Photos are new events

The structure of the core - times and Collections, all the pictures library is sorted by chronological order, Capture Moments so far, all the Photos of the date of their importation.  You can built your own structure in addition to this using the albums, folders or smart albums.  Your own structure may reflect the thematic group in addition to the chronological grouping of photos.

  • Problems with importing the photos in a sequence of images!

    Hi all

Just at work and we are a big enough time photography project that another colleague and I are editing in Adobe Premiere. Having gathered a wide selection of images, we decided it was time to have a go doing a first edition. Opens the first and made a new etc project and have done a couple of practice runs with different pictures, but I opened the photos (file/import) and then tried to import all the images but I can't check "Image Sequence", which is grayed out. Anyone know why? I assumed it was due to the fact that it was their import on an external drive but I put them on the MacBook in order to ensure, but it would not always be to import them. I then tried to import less photos at once always for nothing doesn't.

Be flat ideas just thought I would ask what I consider experts with more knowledge than me for a helping hand! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help you with what is a work project that I am eager to start as soon as possible!

    You select all the photos?

To import as a sequence of images, simply choose the first image in the sequence. Yes IMG_001 (or whatever your equivalent).

I tried this on my mac and it worked fine using the same convention of naming as yourself.

So, just choose the first image and the image sequence checkbox should be selectable.

  • Importing files photo keeping files in existing folders.

    Photoshop Elements 6

    Windows 7, 64-bit

All the images in folders and subfolders on the hard drive.

New instalation of Photoshop Elements 6

I can import all photo files, but they do not appear in the records.

How can I import and retain current orginzation?

Or do I have to reorganize?

    Thanks for your help.

To switch to the folder view, use the display of the menu (top-right) and choose the location of the folder. Or use the shortcut Ctrl Alt 3.

The organizer of elements (any version) does not alter the location of the files in your folders. It saves only the locations in its database.

Or do I have to reorganize?

Not necessary, you can leave your picture files where they are now, like most of the users of organizers. To organize logically, not physically, better use of all the tools like tags, albums, batteries, games version... They do not change the location of your files in folders.

  • Import all THE Photos of the iPhone

    Hello

I am trying to import all the photos currently on my iPhone 6.  The unit is showing that it is about 18 000 photos on the phone (under the settings-> general-> has comments).  However, when I connect the phone to my MacBook Pro and throw iPhotos, ImageCapture - or even Adobe Lightroom - I gives me only the opportunity to import the last 4 500 images!

How can I import ALL the pictures on the device?

    Thank you

    B.

What are the parameters for iCloud > Photos on your iPhone?  Is iCloud library enabed storage "optimize"?

Then, your photos are actually in iCloud and not all photos can be imported from your iPhone.

If iCloud library is not enabled, the photos on your iPhone could have been synced to the iPhone via iTunes.  Photos you sync with iTunes on your iPhone are not in the film and you can not download using a USB connection.
