• Different resolutions in the same movie.

  Hello, this is probably an obvious or stupid question. But I can't find the answer anywhere?

  I was filming with a camera, Gopro, and my IPhone. I'm doing a little film of all the clips turned off the three device and I can't figure out how to get the correct resolution and have them all in one without cropping the images induviduallly, which is a pain, and I think that doing it this way does not allow the clips to their quality (maybe wrong).

  Another quick question:

  Is it possible to make clips 'big screen' and 'a film like' so that they have bars along the bottom and at the top, without just cropping the video?

  Hi Lewis,

  If you want to include all of your clips in the same project, remember that you cannot correct all the elements size when you import on the time line.

  The best way to work under the conditions and for the preservation of the quality, is to create a project with the lower resolution settings, you use (maybe the Iphone in your situation). and you need to change the scale for the clips with better resolution (even if the resolution allows to do this, you can keep a tighter picture if you want).

  For your second question:

  Black bars on each side of the image (usually up and down, but however must be right and left in particular) are visible because a picture in a format (4: 3, 16: 9, cinemascope, etc.) are broadcast on screen different format (4: 3 or 16: 9 most of the time).

  For example, a 16: 9 on a 4: 3 screen image project: black bar upstairs and downstairs, a 4: 3 photo project on a 16: 9 screen. black bar on left and right.

  The bars to avoid to strench and distort your image to fill the entire screen...

  The only way to avoid crop your original photo, is to create a 4: 3 format sequence, if you have a HD footages...

  No.... This is currently a limitation of the layout, where we try to adapt to each screen, but objects and the page layout is not appropriate in different proportions with a different number of pixels.

  The aspect ratio is the most important, followed by the total of the resolution of the screen.

  Additional information about elongation are below.

  In summary, DASYLab is unable to completely adapt the layout "Screen" for the size of each screen and resolution. If you want to have a fixed provision which is not completely in some monitors, then consider using a size fixed, such as A4 or A3.

  If you do something on a large monitor, 1600 x 1200, for example, and move it to a screen wide monitor, 1600 x 900.

• Any ideas? Premiere Pro CS6 crashing whenever I try to import clips!

  I'm relatively new to Premiere Pro CS6 (gradually switching to Final Cut), so forgive me if there's any details miss me. I have real problems with getting the app to work, unfortunately.

  Here's the problem:

  I can create and save projects very well. Nothing is slow or appears bad. However, every time I want to import clips (in any parameter of project/sequence, or codec, as well as different types of clips from the camera), Premiere Pro instanty throws a message - immediately - to say:

  «I'm sorry, that a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro stop.» We will try to save your current project".

  It is literally impossible around that, that I can tell. I tried all different types of clips, all the different import methods (for example drag / move, media browser, file > import), but nothing. It isn't even a matter of film - the same applies even if I just try to import images. Oddly, with grag and drop - method if it is a video clip, PP registers even how long the clip is, highlighting where the clip will insert - she normally would be - but then instantly crashes after abandonment and/or trying to read. This led to believe me (because I never saw a single visual image in Premiere Pro) there could be a graphic bug - potentially something wrong with my system.

  For any help or suggestion would be received with gratitude. I have attached to the report of crash below and some features of my system.

  PS just Gunna do a full update of my Mac OS X to bring it up to 10.8.3. I doubt that this will fix the problem, but it's worth a shot, and if no bed I'll let you all know.

  I think I've solved the problem!

  No idea what it was, but it would either have been:

  (a) restart my MacBook (unlikely!)

  (b) update the firmware from Apple

  (c) update the Apple Retina Display update

  (d).. .the above all of that!

  He actually started to work before you go on 10.8.3, so not associated with OS X.

  In this case, my apologies for the long post - hope it helps everyone in the same situation in the future. Moral of the story: the Apple software update!

• How to set up specific folders and import clips in their

  I want to create a number of files within an event in the final cut and then import clips dedicated to these files individually

  FFolders in the events hold no clips; they hold collections. What are import you, HDD or camera? If there is no way to assign the collections of keyword for them to a camera. If a hard drive you can use folders and marking in the Finder.

  My workflow is 1.   Take my SD card in my panasonic camcorder and put it in the drive 2.  To import the files, use iMovie.  However, is it possible to import them to another hard drive?  I can't set the location.  Also, I have no idea where they take the clips.  Is it possible to find individual clips that I can access outside of iMovie in which if I click it, it will play the clip?  I heard that iMovie it encapsulates all in one giant file.

  Also to create a movie, first IMPORT the clips to a large bank I am talking about above, so I ENTER these clips on a PROJECT?  I am curious about others ' work flow.

  When you import clips, they will be placed in the selected event, but you can change this with the ' import to:' field:

  

  The clips will be stored here where the library containing this event is registered.  If it's on an external hard drive, then the clips go.  If you go to the library (extension .imovielibrary) with the finder then right click > view the contents of the package, you will see folders for each event and each project.  Within each of them will be a "Original media" folder which contains the imported clips.  You can play or copy them from there, but changes nothing in the library.

  The normal workflow is to import clips into events and create projects and drag and drop clips from the events in the calendar of the project.

• I can no longer import clips for my external drives... final cut gives me the ability to import on my hard drive... you just buy a new drive for G and I have the same problem

  I used to be able to import clips on my external drive of G and change events I had saved on the drive, but this problem started after I tried to import video from a camcorder sony I had connected the G drive.  Now when I try to import the clips, it don't give me the possibility to choose one of my records G, I can only import directly on my hard drive.  I can't open the previous events I backed up on my external drives.

  I am running xp home with service pack 3 installed. When I try to import mpeg movie clips in moviemaker now only the audio shows, before they imported correctly.  I've done this before and the films I've done import and play very well, but when I try to import clips I origionaly used to create the film there is no video. the clips play fine in media player, but not in movie maker. What has changed.

  Have you tried to uninstall Service Pack 3, restart the computer and restart the clips?  They work then?

  If so, reinstall the SP3 and perform the following steps

  Visit the site of the manufacturer of the video card driver updates

  Open the Device Manager

  Right-click on the video driver and select Update driver

  Right click on the driver and select uninstall

  Restart the computer

  Windows will reinstall the drivers

  Clips of retry.  They work now?

  You can use the EncodedImage classes and class Fixed32 to load and scale of the bitmaps on the fly in your code. I would load the largest resolution you want to take over or slightly larger (480 x 360 is what I use) and scale upwards or downwards according to the needs. Here is an example of code that I use:

  Is it possible to implement a configuration of monitor in mirror with monitors of different resolutions on the Windows 7 operating system, but at the same time to maintain the native resolution on both screens?, at the same time maintain the native resolution on both screens?

  I appreciate the information provided by you. I want to update you can set permanently resolution for each monitor, but unfortunately the parameters you want may not work if you want 1st screen on 2nd monitor resolution will get the change. It also depend on the size of each monitor you use.

  You use RoboHelp 11, if anyone can describe the best approach to provide the same image with different resolutions, to adapt to different screen sizes?   Lol that is the same picture that gets resized on the fly. Open the sample and

  generate reactive power. There is a picture in the retirement section. Go

  to this and keep the window resizing.

  As long as the original is good enough for a full browser window,

  all you need to worry.
