  I try to import a folder of images in Lightroom and it seems to turn off without problems or error messages, but when I check the number of pictures is not. There are 398 (JPG, NEF and a MOV) files in the network folder, I'm importing. But Lightroom shows 367. It seems to be jumping random jpg. I deselected "don't import suspected duplicates." I tried to drag and drop files missing in the library, but it brings just to the top of the import and shows dialog box then 0 new. What is happening and what I can do about it?

  Hi, I imported all my photos and videos from iphoto to Lightroom recently with iphoto import plugin.  I think that all my photos have been imported, but I noticed that all my videos have no capture time, while they became grouped in my collections.  But I think that I can still see their capture time in the 'gray' text on each photo.  Why did this happen and how to solve this problem?  I really want my time to capture in video metadata, and I also want to see my videos in chronological order on the right with my videos.   Strangely, the videos imported into Lightroom directly from my camera SD card do not have this problem, don't do that those imported from iphoto.  Thank you!

  LR does not correctly manage video metadata in general, and in particular, he often misses capture time.  Sometimes it works: choose a video, make metadata > edit Capture time and then click all change (without actually modifying the corrected time).  If that sets the time of capture at the right time, you can select all the videos of problem, metadata > edit Capture time, and then click all change.   If you have a small number of videos, you can manually fix the capture time to help change the Capture time.

• imports to Lightroom from iphone 6 is no longer

  I have the latest version of Lightroom CC and when I got my iPhone in March 6 the import photos and videos has been flawless. I do it manually all imports and other than to wait as my computer to recognize my phone, it worked well until May 18, 2015.

  I don't have major changes to my set-up, since the import for the phone worked. Importing from a card reader and the memory of a digital camera still works fine. I worked to get my photos from my phone using workarounds in LR; but it is not acceptable for the long term.

  The procedure I used in the past:

  I plug my phone into the USB cable connected to my computer, approve the 'trust' box that appears on my iPhone 6. Then wait for the phone folder icon appear in the Explorer window.

  Then, I select the import button and select the phone to import from - after a while, I get a window that indicates that photoshop lightroom has stopped responding.

  Any reference to a current thread addressing this problem would be appreciated-

  LR told me that there are no photos to import from my iPhone SE (when he had worked without a hitch).

  1. Open the pictures on my MacBook Air and tried to import.
  2. A dialogue was told that my computer did not get access to my iPhone. Must have been upgraded iOS 10?
  3. Unlock my phone (while it is plugged into USB), pictures began to appear in the import of Photos screen.
  4. Photos enclosed and import tried in LR again and it worked.
