Import of Crumplepop shining in fcpx

Hi, can someone advise on how best to bring a Crumplepop shining in FCPX. Of course, I can import them into a new library but that would not restrict their use in other libraries? Is it possible to get them so they show and listen to extracts in the generators or the effects tab?

Thank you

You can work in the libraries., take a look at this discussion of additional context.

  • Import video from a drone is all black

I have a drone DJI Phantom 3 Pro and use FCPX 10.2.3 on an iMac 2102 end with 32 GB of memory and OSX 10.11.

Several times I imported this drone videos to FCPX without any problem.

Today, however, the video is all black.

When I look at the memory card using Finder and press space bar to browse individual files, I can see the video.  It seems just that FCPX can not...?

Someone suggest how I might solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

Also, I just checked that I can also watch video clips in QuickTime format: it seems to me that I can not in FCPX.

  • Fuzzy importing video to iPhone

I took some pictures of super-slo-mo 240 fps in my iPhone 6. I would like to import it and manipulate the FCPX (latest version).

I imported the media, then created a new project, with the video properties "defined according to first clip." Then I did drag the video file in the project. I got an error that says: "this video clip properties are not recognized. Click OK to use the settings below... "and it is pre-set at 60 p and 720 p HD 1280 x 720.

This isn't quite what I want, and I want to preserve the best quality as possible, so I changed it to 1080 p. (I don't know why he didn't know already, but...)

Once I started working with images, it is obviously blurry. When I export it as a master file (with default settings) and look at its results, it is extremely blurry.

    What I've done wrong?

IOpen the original clip in the QT player and report exactly what it says in the Inspector.

  • Transcoded files import does not correctly.

I'm new to first (from FCPX) and I tried to import a video file for the past hours. I can't rotate.

    1. the files in question are files .mov 720 p 422 AppleProRes, 8track on 48 k audio sampling, transcoding of the r3d files (red cine-x if it is important).
    2. the files play fine as stand-alones, in my Quicktime Player.
    3. they also import and play well in FCPX.
    4. I am able to import songs audio and other films done in Premiere Pro. They all play very well.
    5. when I try to import my transcoded files, the image seems to matter very well, but audio is this horrible static noise maxed-out on all channels.
    6. in another transcoded video, rather than the audio maxed out, missing audio channels and the channels that exist are extremely heavy and highly distorted.

7 I tried to re-transcode to HDV, but I get the same audio distortion when I import to first.

8 I tried to play around with different settings of the sequence, and I also tried corresponding to the sequence of the element in question.

    9. I tried to import my raw r3d files, but the first does not allow them to import. As I read that the first is able to read r3d, I reinstall my copy of first.

that linear pcm should work. Apple lossless should be helped first, then you can try this. aac and mpeg4 codecs are too poor quality.  If you export a stereo or mono channel pcm file does still have problems in first? You can also tell creation using only some tracks/channels to maybe see if has a problem with some of them. tray, right-click and choose Edit, audio channels, or of the right timeline click on a clip and choose audio channels.  You can also split channel track the location of the project, when you change channels, it can say 8 mono tracks.

  • Final Cut Pro 60 export error

I did a lot of research and I am unable to find a solution to my mistake.  So I hope that you all might be able to give me some direction.  Here's my situation:

Often, we have workshops of 2 or 3 hours with a small Canon camcorder (HD video).  The camcorder automatically cut into 2 GB files, so according to the duration of the workshop, I have 4-5 videos.  This video is from late 2013 (3.5 GHz 6 - core Intel Xeon E5, 64 GB of RAM, dual AMD over-pants D500/3 GB video cards) in my Mac Pro desktop computer.  The video is usually WMV, so it gets converted using Wondershare to the MOV format.  Import the MOV file in FCPX where I cut it into smaller segments - usually 20 to 40 minutes - and add our splash, title and closing screen.  Then I export to our Vimeo.

While this works 9 of 10 times, it's the 1 times that's not what left me speechless.  Take for example my current project.  It consisted of two days of training (about 7 hours in total).  I shot all the video files in FCPX, then merged every day in a unique and clean project.  Then, I found good breaking points and made a 'double project as snapshot' of the master.  Then I remove what I need for this particular part.  However, about 60 to 70% of them are exporting with success - others give me "Error 60" with no other information (like frame).  I tried to copy a whole new project, and it fails.  I tried to just "master of export", and it fails.  I deleted the video from the project and it will export (either master or Vimeo).  It is something to do with the video.

But why is this random, and what are the best of the troubleshooting steps?  I have to go back and try to re - edit everything from the start (even if more than half of them worked well)?  Or y at - it a way to determine what and where in the video is the cause?

Thanks for your suggestions you might have!

    Todd

I suspect the third party converter. You could look at Flip4Mac as an alternative.

Try the problematic file from the browser - optimized choice of transcoding.

BTW, what model Canon is that saves to WMV?

  • h.264 to ProRes

    Hello

I lost a project with all the sons, but I still have the final version of the movie that I exported in h.264 format. Unfortunately need to the television movie in ProRes.

    1. every person has an idea on how to do it?

I could simply import the h.264 into FCPX and then export to ProRes.

    2. my clients will notice that?

    3. There will be a problem for television?

    Thanks for your help

Select the file on the disk. Right click and go to Services > encode the selected video files. You will have a ProRes option in there.

  • Audio is not synchronized with the video...

Shot a 16 minute video using the iPhone. He shot without breaks. Just take the lead. When I watch the video in Quicktime audio synchronization format is very well throughout the sequence. But when I import video in first Pro CC 2015.3 and play in the timeline, the audio is synchronized at the beginning and starts to drift and at the end of the video, the audio is average not synchronized with the video. Is there something in preferences that must be put? As, I exported the video and it was always out of sync.

Note: I've imported the same images to FCPX and I had no problem of synchronization.

First cannot process images with variable framerate (such as phones, webcams etc.)

Converted with HandBrake contstant framerate and re-import.

  • FCPX jump during the import of the band. Analysis of the root causes?

    Dear friends,

I have a camera Sony TRV-900F video connected via FW800 to an iMac late 2009 with 16 GB of RAM, a quad core i7 2.8 and one 1 original to HDD with El Capitan.

When I import one of my miniDV tapes (which are between 2000 and 2012 about and been wound and rewound before capture and which were mainly recorded in one take on new tapes Sony and never reused) FCPX any images in fragments of random size (from a few hundredK to 10-14 MB) and frequently shows loss of images and some audio distortion imported into the timeline and re-read.

Final tried to create archives first and then import, but the result is the same.

What I don't understand, is that, at least apparently, none of these problems of 'corruption' appears if I look/hear the tapes in camcorder Sony itself!

I tried to use iMovie and same fragmentation occurs so I guess it is not related to the SO FCPX itself.

So far, I have received the iMac 1 TB hard drive and now have tried to import on a 128 GB SSD in a USB enclosure (which is USB3, but if I'm not mistaken my iMacs USB ports are USB2). Even to jump occurs.

Maybe I need to configure the SSD in a different way and to define not only as the backup directory for imports?

If the best ideas don't come to mind the next tests I'll make are:

    (a) purchase of a NEW band and try to record and import from it. If it works, this would indicate the older strips are damaged, but it does not explain why they look good in the camera.

    (b) purchase a head cleaning cassette and to use it carefully and see if he would heal playback and import.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Post edited by: robertfromroma. Added the MacOS version. FCPX is 10.1

Try the import with QuickTime player and see if you get the same results.

  • import proxy files in fcpx

I have a Sony FS5, it records AVCHD (XML) files and at the same time it will record the proxy files (mp4).

When I import in FCPX why don't he selects automatic my proxy recorder camera files?

How can I connect these clips mp4 as the file proxy without having to leave the FCPX re-make, son of proxy?

MFT uses proxies to format long GOP. Who defeated the purpose to improve the reading even if the small files. FCP uses image I ProRes proxy.

  • How to import archives old libraries FCPX version?

In earlier versions of FCPX, as you have updated it to newer versions, that he asks if you want to archive your library projects and events before it the converted to the new format "bundle". I'm happy I did. I am now on version 10.2.3 and recently had to update an educational video for a couple of years - that is, just change a few references and re - export the movie. The open library and event open OK, but the project I wanted to just block the whole of FCPX application when I try to open it! Somewhere along the series of updates of version incompatibility appeared. Then I remembered I have the archived original "replica" of the library FCPX saved in the old format of events and records of project. So I thought that I have just need to re - import the given in the latest version from scratch - probably the reason to make this archive in the first place. I searched around but can't find instructions on how to do it. Help please everyone!

    Thank you

    Terence

Actually the old project and events files would need to beupdated to post 10.0.9 library structure.

But it is too early to abandon the project of opening of the current library. Suggest the abandonment of FCP and compensation to your files preferably. Press option and control keys when you launch the application and when prompted, remove the preferences. Go to your library, and then see if the project is opened now.

    Good luck.

  • Problems to Import Clips in FCPX

Hi, I have the current version of FCPX 10.2.3 and Yosemite 10.10.5

    Problem...

I plug in my cards containing clips of Sony PX_XW70 AVCHD player but they are not in the import of FCPX window. I have formate ProVideo and Sony PDZK - LT2_1.2.1 installed. However, I have found that the only way I can get to see clips of FCPX is to reinvigorate the PDZK - plug-in LT2_1.2.1 EVERY time I want to import so that PDZK - LT2_1.2.1 is displayed on the desktop, then I re - open FCPX and select Import once more this time I get to see the clips.

It seems as if the plug-in is not proceed with the installation correctly.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem, welcomed the advice.

    Fred

I can't find a camera with this model number.

PDZK - LT2_1.2.1 is a plugin XAVC/XDCAM. No plugin is required for AVCHD media.

  • FCPX 'turns' MP4-XAVC-S in. MOV on import

    Hello

I tried to import some media (recorded on a Sony a6000) XAVC-S in the final cut when I noticed something odd.

If I import media directly from the map, FCPX "turns" the media in. MOV files. If, on the other hand, I move MP4 XAVC-S (only the.) MP4 and not the. XML files) then it is important as long as not MOV and MP4. Anyone know what is happening and what is recommend it import method (for better quality)?

In both cases I chose "copy to library" and has not chosen any transcoding, analyzes the keywords or audio/video.

    I'm working on FCPX 10.2.3.

This is the correct behavior. When you import from the map, or better out of an archive of the camera, the media are re-tensioned for QuickTime. That's what you need to do. Do not use the MPEG-4 files.
