Import of the 'show preview' device does not work for RAW (Canon T1i/500 d)

Not sure if anyone else has seen this. I just got a canon T1i (500 d for you Europeans). When I connect the camera to the computer and select Import device and select "Preview" in the import window, only JPEG images to display thumbnails. All my RAW images appear as grey areas. It is the first digital SLR, I've ever owned, and the first time I am really using lightroom. It's killing my workflow plans, as I ususally upload images into folders and appoint, by category. Without seeing the thumbnails, it is impossible to know which category what images belong to.
Anywone have ideas? This happens with all RAW images on all cameras? Is this a problem T1i?

As John said, use a card reader for added speed, data security and flexibility. However, if you use a direct connection to your camera under windows, your camera must be in mass storage (called PC connection menu canons USB) mode. Some Canon DSLRs do not have a mass storage mode (Canon booh!) and you'll see never seen in the Lightroom Import dialog box.

I'm having a problem with a field defined to calculate the average of eleven points fields (points 1 to 8 on page 1-9-11 on page 2). My original question was that it could exclude fields of points when they do not have information entered and adjust the average calculation (number of "divided by") accordingly.
I had someone write JavaScript code for him, but I just found a small problem I don't know if it's something in the code or what the person who originally wrote the script cannot understand it either and suggested that I have post here.
The middle area (located on the 2nd page of the pdf page two) seems to work exclusively with precision if at least one of the points of the fields on the 2nd page, 9, 10 (and 11) are engaged with the data. No values entered on the first page and only the first page, are for some reason any dividing by a more than expected. For example, if I fill the boxes 1, 2 and 3, it divides the total by four. If I filled just box 7, it halves. If I fill all 8 boxes on the 1st page, it divides by nine. It is corrected as soon as I get the points in one or more of the three boxes on the 2nd page points, suddenly the overall average is accurate. But if boxes 9, 10 and 11 contain no points, then the average is still inaccurate because the number of ' divide by "he uses is one more than what it should. I can't understand how to attach the form to this post, so I downloaded on Dropbox: Dropbox - used Evaluation.pdf.
Under the direction of State: javascript came work to exclude the empty boxes when the points are entered in one of the three points of fields on the 2nd page (and more), but the average function is not accurate because it adds 1 to the number of ' divide by "in the calculation of the average If the points are only entered into the fields on the 1st page.
Here's the code I entered in the 'Custom calculation Script' box in the 'Calculate' tab of the Properties menu of Test field:

You have set the value of vRow to the value of the number box i which is checked. There is probably nothing in the apex_application.g_f03 with RESIDD as index table
What you want is hollow loop all the hidden objects g_f02
and with in this loop through all verified elements checkbox g_f01

Preview pane does not work for photos
When I open the My picture folder, I can't preview any photo. I just get the default icon. How can I view the picture without opening it? File extensions are almost all .jpg

I have a PhotoSmart 5510e which was working fine until recently these app printing stop work and display of messages that I need to go to for custom ePrinterCenter it. Has tried to open a session in the ePrintCenter but it keep telling me the password is not valid. And when you use the password to get the link, it keeps telling me to enter the email address associated to the my account when I click OK. I already have then enter the email address what do I do? I would like to apologize for the problem you are experiencing. The eprintcenter.com site and the site snapfish.com are connected. It is possible that you had a printer in the past that you signed up for an account with snapfish, while you were recording with us and you didn't. I would try going to snapfish.com and using the forgotten password under their log link to see if who you alow reset you the password. Once the password is reset, log information Web site snapfish.com will be information to use to connect to eprintcenter.com. If you need anything else please do not hesitate to answer.

Equium P300-16 t - Synaptics Pointing Device does not work correctly

Just bought this laptop and for some reason, I get an error message come saying the Synaptics Pointing Device does not work properly. The touchpad loses some functions and a warning appears informing me of this. I can still use it, but disappears from the icon in the taskbar with the flashing blue dot - when I go into the control panel it says the driver and he asks if I installed another ps/2 pointing device driver

Suggest that you reinstall simply touch pad drivers. Maybe new version?

- FireFox includes its own PDF plugin
- Adobe Acrobat Reader (which almost everyone has) offers a plug-in also
MS Office documents... not so much.
In order to display a Word document in a web browser, you must have a Plugin who knows how to view Word documents.
(.... Or... be stuck with Internet Explorer...)
I believe that OpenOffice is a plugin... but you can be guaranteed that the {end} user has this plugin installed.

You has made changes to the system before the error appearing? Cancel the changes.
(1) in Device Manager > right click on the driver, and then select uninstall
Reboot and Windows will reload the driver
(2) remove the upper & lower filters that cause errors in Code 31

Audio recording of Windows: the audio device does not work any
I use a mobile Intel (R) Celeron (R) M with Microsoft WindowsXP Professional version 2002.
The audio peripheral speakers do not work all of a sudden and there is no sound out put at all.
But if I use Logitech and Microsoft HD camera mike and hear on Skype. But the speaker and mike does not otherwise for any other application.
When I try it says there was a problem in the installation of this equipment:
"The Conexant High definition Smartaudio HD2 - Code 18 is not installing.
Reinstall the drivers for this device (Code 18)
Could someone help me in the presentation how to solve this problem and help me to get the missing audio device installed.

I suggest to follow the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.(a) click Start and select Control Panel, click on "Classic view" in the menu on the left.
(b) double click on the "Device Manager"(c) expand "Sound, video and game controllers"

Follow these methods.
Method 1: Follow these steps:
(a) restart your computer if you have not already done so. There is always the possibility that the error Code 31 that you see was caused by a temporary problem with Device Manager. If so, a simple reboot can solve the Code 31.
(b) have you install a device or a change in the Device Manager, just as the Code 31 error appeared? If so, it is very possible that the modification caused the Code 31 error.
(c) cancel the change if you can restart the computer and then check again the error Code 31. Depending on the changes, some solutions may include:
Remove or reconfigure newly installed unit.
Restore a version prior to updating the driver.
Use system restore to undo the Device Manager recent related changes.
