  Probably, you set a default value for the camera. Go to preferences-> Presets and reset all camera default settings.

• Import with presets developed vs developing vs Export

  Setting: Scientific Specimen imaging, using Lightroom to convert and normalize the types of images. All images are produced in a photobox, so are virtually the same as the actual sample.  The final products are jpeg and DNG images uploaded to a database.

  The camera raw image files we 'Import' means the images to Lightroom with "metadata" and "Develop" presets activated, which gives DNG files for each image.  There is white balance, sharpness and the color correction preset hysteresis in the "develop" used for import, we do no further manipulation of the image in LR.

  The fundamental Question is: are the DNG files from the 'import' final, usable, DNG of generated images, or these can be 'developed' or 'exported' to get the latest DNG?  Experimentally, we tried to do the 'export' and exported DNG files are exactly (byte) of the same size as the ones we have generated when they were imported.

  The question is we do something else that wasting time when we do the 'export' to give a second series of DNG files?

  Update: we did some tests and we found out, is that if you use the function "import with copy DNG with presets to develop" the generated DNG file has modifications in the develop preset applied to the image in the DNG file.

  Our experience: starting with 2 identical copies of the same RAW image, we did import with copy DNG twice - once with our development presets applied and the other without the develop presets.  We then exported the each image as a DNG, which gives an "only import" and a version "exported" of each image.  We then compared the 4 images (on another computer without LR), it is clear that there is no difference between the DNG format generated via "Import with copy DNG with presets to the point" and the images after export.

  Thus, it is our conclusion that there is nothing to gain from the export to DNG that were generated images by using the function "import with copy DNG with presets to develop."

  Note: We use LightRoom CC 2015.3 Release, Camera Raw 9.3

• import parameters of development changes

  Hi all

  I use lightroom for several years now and have been using the function to import without a lot of questions. I have a Canon D70. Before 2015 CC Lichtroom develop settings only change a little in the settings of contrast and sharpness.

  But I see now that changing the setting of development with all the imported files to automate the development parameters. Which is the last thing I want?

  Even when I do a reset of the parameters of development, it will reset to automatic development parameters, so the only way to circumvent this resets each photo by hand?

  I did a reset of all development import preferences in the Lightroom settings window, but still it will just change the parameters of development still. Attached is a sample of my parameters of development directly after import

  

  I have no idea how it was settled, some other then update to Lightroom CC 2015.

  My main question is how I can get rid of this defect, as I will have soon a photo shoot where I will have to take hundreds of images and of course don't want to go through all the images by hand to reset all settings.

• Area of development under the menu "select" does not work

  CC trial on 32-bit machine with 4 GB of ram and 1 GB card graph.

  Have the photo on the screen. Select the update box, select Menu. Get the graphic treatment of circle and then nothing.

  Tried all the display modes and still nothing. Original photo with no overlay.

  Any ideas greatly appreciated.

  What version of windows are you using?

  Maybe your photo is quite important with respect to the pixel dimensions.

  Have you tried smaller photo?

  (smaller in size in pixels, as 1014 x 768)

  The track Matte Keying effect and is available if you click on the effects tab. With the Clip video track 2 (the dupe Clip w / Moasic) selected, scroll down in the effects of overlay Panel and find overlay track matte, which is the last of pre 4.0, at the end of the second row. Just use a request or click on + drag to this element. You do not have the effect of masking Matte track in the effect controls panel? If so, use the scroll bars to the right of this Panel.

• How can I apply the automatic spelling correction for selected fields from the data entered by the users of forms?

  I would like to be able to apply the spelling correction of selected fields in the forms I created using LiveCycle Designer 8.2 at runtime, as opposed at design time.  I understand that version 8 LCD has a spelling corrector new OWL for form designers.  But I want to say check the data entered by users using Acrobat Reader.  And I want to apply the spelling correction automatically on only selected fields.

  Currently it seems that fill out my forms, users must know how manually right-click on each field, and then select "Spell Check" from the dialog box to check spelling mistakes in the data that the user entered into the form.

  I would like to discover a way to apply the correction spelling in certain areas, as well as I am able to do in forms created using Acrobat Pro.  Acrobat Pro, I can set a property for each field to require the spell check.  but this feature seems to be missing in Livecycle Designer.

  I have check the object model for XFA forms hoping I could find a method I can call a JavaScript file, check the spelling based on an event such as onBlur.  But I have not found a method of spelling.

  Am I missing something simple?  Is there a way to define each field out controls when a user is filling out the form using the free software Acrobat Reader?

  Our users are not sophisticated and forcing spell check each field separately just doesn't cut it...

  Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

  Hi David,

  Two things...

  At design time has set the locale of the form to that coming out Acrobat checks. For example the locale English (United States) and English (United Kingdom) have Spellers; However the English (Ireland) does not work. Check the warnings tab to see if the spell checking is supported for your locale.

  If your locale form supports spell checking, so you can go to the script of the button below.

  If you form local does NOT support spell checking, Stephanie has a great work-around to force spell (http://forums.adobe.com/message/2233945#2233945).

  Put a normal button on the form and in the click event must have the following:

  app.execMenuItem ("spelling: spell check");

  Which will open the checker spelling for all fields.  Thanks to Paul for extract all elements of menu available (http://forums.adobe.com/message/1912914#1912914).

• To import bookmarks from Safari, help says to select Import on the file menu, but there is no option to import it. What, then, is the first step to import bookmarks from Safari?

  I read in the Help menu which includes the caveat that the material can be exceeded because it is not supported.

  The import option has been moved to the file menu in the library window; This article needs to be revised.

  • Bookmarks > show all bookmarks to open the library window
  • In the library window, backup and import > import data from another browser

  I'm storage element currently selected in a variable using setSelectedPlayer() function call.

  This variable contains a correct value for the selected item.

  Now the problem is that when I go to someother page using 'pushscreen()', say on the layout.

  and then came back again to "main.html", but now my drop-down list contains default selected value and NOT my element selected.

  I tried to set using the option selected after the loading of the page.

  but the emphasis is always on the 'default' option. Note that the selected internal value is correct. I mean to say, I chose 2nd option then after coming back from the 'Settings' page, I'm still not able to select the 2nd option but the emphasis is on the default option.

  Please help me I'm really stuck for that little thing.

  It is not really an effect. Selected text appears on the reverse of the fill color of text against a background bar that is the inverse of the background color of the text.

• How remove mass develop preset in the selection?

  Today I disheveled, accidentally assigning inappropriate development preset to a few hundred images - many of which have a number of valid develop the steps of history before the false preset.

  By filtering, I can choose the images requiring a mass-deletion of the screening. But I'm not in any case to mass - delete the bad develop stage of history.

  Unfortunately, you can not.  This topic has been shot in the front, and I think that someone put in a feature request.  You should probably put one in as well.

• Import graphics, unexpected swap

  Hi, I have 2015.2 run on win7.

  I have a character to cut made animation animate as a graphic, inside there is a reversal of the character with a large number of graphic symbols, like hand arms legs feet eyes blink and so on. the file is called TA.fla
  In the library of ALL the symbols are in a folder called ALBA.

  I have another fla (walk.fla) created after TA.fla, with a few of my character, to make the market, market cycle we take the character of TA.fla and we made animations.
  Keep exactly the same element name.

  The element of the walk.fla are in a folder called CYCLE.

  So far so good.

  We place the character of TA.fla in walk.fla;  NO popup appears on the conflicts of duplicates, so apparently not there is no conflict.

  Now in the library inside the walk.fla, there are 2 folder CYCLE and ALBA.

  We expect to have 2 sets of separate components (the one inside ALBA, one inside the CYCLES), but for some reason any animate left a number of graphics ALBA for CYCLE, without asking.

  What I want, is to keep a copy of each item in its how folder, to be clear I want 2 symbols i ALBA HEADS a CYCLE.

  In the past, in flash CC his works as I want, but now it seems that animate "recognize" graphics as "source" and automatically take from one folder to another.

  The moved element are the graphics card that does not change, as eye blinks or others.

  I would like to know how to say keep animate ALL items in a folder, so I can have, for example, in the walk.fla library 2 head symbol an ALBA record a record CYCLES. Even if are identical, I want that it separated.

  Hi m, I solved thank you, I did essentially a script jsfl that rename all library items with the addition of a suffix '_copy' and added another one who withdraws the name of '_copy' again, this things "simply" solve the problem. Questions I've heard was the fact that I have to change the name of the elements (it is not mandatory the name change just edit Likei dd with the script).

  You are right the assets in folders usually should not give conflict, but at least I solved.

• Develop settings does not: how to apply settings in Tethered capture using Lightroom development CC (version 2015.2.1)

  Hi all

  I'm putting in place an environment of home using Lightroom CC (version 2015.2.1).

  I use a Canon EOS 7 d Mark II and an Asus K46CB laptop (Windows 10). The camera is recognized by Windows 10 and Lightroom. I can control the camera using EOS Utility and Lightroom as well. Everything looks like it's working normally but no matter what preset I select under settings to develop or if I select "even than previous" after a first home and manually, the software does not apply develop settings I want / need.

  The strange thing is that sometimes it works out of the blue, and stops working after 2 or 3 shot.

  It worked well in previous versions of Lightroom.

  Y at - it something I am doing wrong? Did I miss something or some configurations? Can you help me please?
