importance of the harvest and the resolution

Hello

I can not access the size of harvest Image and the resolution dialog box.  When I click the drop Ratio of aspect "Size and resolution" does not appear.  Only the new crop Preset or delete preset of the harvest.  I need to crop an image, but it's only allowing me to define W & H inches, no pixels.  I use Cs6.  FYI thanks for any assistance.

Moreover, it seems that it's CS5.5

  • Import of files PDF in photoshop sometimes illustrator allow me to open and check the resolution?

    Here's the scenario:

Client sends me an illustrator with an embedded image file. I need to check the resolution of the image to see if it is high resolution enough for printing. I delete all the art, but the image in illustrator and then save this file in pdf format with the default of illustrator.

I drag the pdf file in photoshop where to get the 'PDF Import' dialog box. I don't know if I select the "Pages" button, the resolution and color that appears in the dialog box are not the real specs for the image. I have to click on the 'Images' button and open the file from there, BUT sometimes this option is not available and the 'open' button is grayed. I have yet to understand why this happens on some pdf files that I saved in Illustrator.

It's the only way I found to check resolutions on embedded files, where I don't have the real chart linked. Someone at - it ideas? Thanks for any help!

Just check the resolution in Illustrator instead of exporting a PDF file for check in Photoshop.

If the picture is selected, then the resolution is displayed in the control bar.

It can be in a nest of groups as well, either double-click on several occasions on the image until you have drilled down to it or select it in the layers panel where the triangles will give access to it.

  • Import of media browser and what is the meaning of ' compliant audio "for Premiere Pro

The resolution of the problems of audio dropout there are a few recommendations:

1 is to import via media browser. I always do this, but what is the difference between that and "importer" via the file menu or drag / drop to the level of the finder/Explorer?

2 is to "wait for the audio to be similar." What does that mean? Historically consistent referred to the construction of an online version (high resolution) of a sequence of 'offline' version of lower resolution. It is rare to comply audio as it was captured in general integral quality as well as much smaller than video space considerations.

I do see the "PIC file generation" that occur and disabled it automatically generate because it takes so much time and consumes so many resources.

What is Adobe medium by audio "in line"? I do not see what to do (unless there's a lower quality cover, built for some reason any?)

    Thanks for any information

1 tapeless media took us two steps forward, but also a step backwards.  Instead of a single file per clip containing audio, video, time and metadata code (what we had with DV), plus all formats enter a folder stupid and often labyrinthine structure.  Sometimes the video and audio in a single file, sometimes is not.  But even when they are, most of the cameras will write several files for longer clips (called covering), because they still use the seriously outdated FAT32 file system, which can create files up to 4 GB.  Some cameras will even write each image as an individual file.

Given this mess, try to change some of these formats by using the method of normal import will create havoc with your clips in PP.  Adobe solution is the media browser, who can understand the stupidass records and bring in the clips as if they were correctly created - one file for each clip containing audio, video, code time and metadata.

  • Is it possible to create an importer which can automatically provide the resolution needed?

    Hello

I create a synthetic importer to use in the creation and Media Encoder.

The synthetic importer is core file. The file contains information about the content to display.

Given that the code can automatically generate images and resolution arbitrariness and framerate, I want the user to simply add the file and generates a sequence or to a media encoder to convert.

But the API importer wants to put me a final resolution and the framerate on the recall of imGetInfo8.

To give a fixed framerate doesn't seem to be a problem, because if I put "canDoContinuousTime" in the course of the imInit that I receive all calls for all images the same sequence does not match the framerate in imGetInfo8.

But the fixed resolution is a problem because I do not know the resolution of the target hardware.

When you import a clip without a file (file-> new-> importing Custom) a 'New synthetic' dialog box is shown to set the framerate and resolution. By default, these values are the values of the current sequence.

SDKFileInfo8-> vidInfo on the imGetInfo8 callback is pre populated with values entered in the dialog box.

The same workflow to import would be very useful. (but without the dialog box "New synthetic")

Especially because the Media Encoder has no option to set a synthesis as a source.

Is there a way to implement a 'destination match', as the exporter H.264 offers a "source of game?

    Hi Bjoern,

If you implement imImportImage rather than imGetSourceVideo, then always keep you some flexibility on the resolution of the source.  You can implement a custom in response to imGetPrefs8, settings dialog where the user can change the dimensions of the clip.  The custom importer, example illustrates modifiers dimensions after a double click on the clip.

  • Yet the culture of the image and the resolution

    Dear all,

I create a H264 1280 x 720 video for Google Maps incorporating still images and HD 1280 x 720 videos.  I always used the 96 dpi for the resolution of the image in the past when I've cropped images to standard 720 x 640 video and they looked good.  If I crop my photos in Photoshop in 1260 x 720 to 96 dpi, jpeg, who will give me a good still image in the final product?  I know that the dpi is not really important unless we do not feel, but I want to start with a resolution of the image.  There are many things to learn about all the new formats!  Thank you.

    Small town Gal

DPI has no meaning in video. All that matters is the height and width.

  • Importing files obj to the resolution of Photoshop problem

    Hello

I have a question about the resolution of the imported files obj Maya.

I've created a 3D model on Maya and he exported obj file.

When I open this file in Photoshop, it opens as a file size: 1024 x 1024 @ 72 dpi.

I need to have this file as 5000 x 5000, so when I resize the image at this resolution the texture looks really bad (as you would expect you to jump iimages bitmap).

However, when I double click on the layer of texture, the texture is in much better quality (resolution 10000 x 10000 @300 dpi).

Why the quality of the texture on the 3D object is so low and how to open in larger format?

    Thank you

Haven't you set Photohop final quality (Raytracing) rendering or did you leave it on editing mode (GPU)?

  • What is happening in the original file of the photo when I import it in Photos and I have the "Delete after import" box checked?

What is happening in the original file of the photo when I import it in Photos and I have the "Delete after import" box checked?

When organizing photos for Photos for Mac app, I find that the Photos makes "copies" of files within the library of Photos and must reference a file if your settings are such that you do not copy the original files in the Photos app.

Trying to manage the disk space for the Macbook Pro.

The delete after import is available only when you import a device - a camera, card, an iPhone, but not when you import files from a folder on the system drive.

You can delete the local image files of your system drive yourself, once you have imported the Photos and they were copied in the photo library.

I would never use the option "delete after Import. The files will be deleted until you can check if the files have been imported correctly. If you find out later, that some of the imported files are corupted and illegible, it will be repeated o toolate import, because the files have been deleted from the device. Or worse, if pictures should plant a reason any during the import, all the pictures will be lost, if you have enabled "delete after import.

You can export your IE Favorites and then import this file into Firefox. Works better than the 'import', IMO.

    In Internet Explorer:

File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file

    then in Firefox:

Bookmarks > show all bookmarks-> import and backup - import HTML... = HTML file

Try using the import option in the Bookmark Manager (also known as the name of the library)

    1. In Firefox, select the bookmarks menu, then "organize bookmarks" open library
    2. In the library, select "Import and backup" then "Import HTML.

    Hello

I wrote a program LabWindows and drew a UI according to him. The software is now used on another computer which is much lower display resolution. This leads to the problem that not all content is visible.

Is it possible for the scale of the user interface compared to the available resolution without writing a lot of code?

    Thanks in advance,

You can use the resolution setting and scale content on resize the attributes of the Group of experts, as well as SetPanelSize, to get the full scale of the Panel and controls according to the display resolution you use. See this knowledge base entry for more details.
