Important records

Hello

I have important files that have photos and others that are punch and would keep without having to make a backup of them some how.

I am in agreement with the above and especially with OneDrive using. (I don't think that this should be the only place where you keep anything important or not). However, I use OneDrive as the place where I create and save all documents and pictures and everything. In order to have your important photos, it might answer your question.  But what happens if OneDrive was taken by someone and Microsoft does the same thing as you and did not have a backup!

  • Import records Photos

    My camera has a fancy feature that allows me to group photos into folders.  It's really convenient when I take pictures of several different items at the same time.  For example, 5 pictures of my daughter, then my car, my house, 7 10 15 my daughter, 10 of my house, a little more than my car, etc..  When I paste my memory card in the SD slot and import all photos gets sorted in chronological order - so that on my camera, I have a daughter record, a record of the car and a home folder.  Even if I go to the last import and create a new album, it puts ALL of the photos that I imported all in one folder - which completely eliminates my organization of the camera.

    In iPhoto I could open the SD card in a Finder window and drag and drop folders into iPhoto and it maintained the integrity of the individual folders, but Photos does not seem to do that.  Any ideas?

    If you want to keep files separated into Photos, import new pictures in each folder of daughter of folders, file of the car and record home separately and create standard albums for previous events in iPhoto.

    • Open the file in the Finder.
    • Launch of Photos.  Come on in "file > import".  In the file chooser, navigate to the folder 'girl '.   Select the new pictures in this folder and import them.
    • Now open the album 'Last import' and select all the photos in this smart album and create a new photo album of the last import.
    • In the sidebar, drag this album in your iPhotoEvents folder.

    Repeat for your other files on the card.

    See old Toaduser Tip: Moments in Photos are new events

    The structure of the core - times and Collections, all the pictures library is sorted by chronological order, Capture Moments so far, all the Photos of the date of their importation.  You can built your own structure in addition to this using the albums, folders or smart albums.  Your own structure may reflect the thematic group in addition to the chronological grouping of photos.

  • Control of imported records

    Hi all

    Is it possible to control the release of records in impdp?

    I'm doing an import using impdp 1 records gives a constraint unique error. All records of the dump file were rejected, and impdp failed, no records have been imported into the table.
    Is it possible to import all the records except the one who will be the unique error message? What I want to say that if 5 documents violated the constraints so insert us all records except those 5 files?

    Here is my scenario:
    create table test_import_dp (id_1 number(10), name_1 varchar2(30));
    create unique index TEST_IMPORT_1_IDX on TEST_IMPORT_DP (ID_1)
    create table test_export_dp (id_1 number(10), name_1 varchar2(30));

    insert into test_export_dp values (1, 'value_1234');
    insert into test_export_dp values (2, 'value_4321');

    insert into test_import_dp values (1, 'value_1234');

    In the scenario above record with id2 was not inserted, is it possible to insert it?

  • Creative Cloud Lightroom import records show that year and not the name of the file that I created

    When I import files from an SD card to Lightroom, I import to an external drive as my file.  Indicates the name of the folder to the year (2015) and not the name of the file that I created (Fort Worth, 12152015).  This has happened with every import that I've done so far.  How can I fix it?

    The copy option is used to copy the files from your camera card. The Add option is used when the files are already on your hard drive. They must be copied, just added to the Lightroom Catalog. You can simply add the files that are located on a map of the camera. They must be copied to the hard drive first.

  • Mobile Home with Yosemite/EL Capitan record

    Hello everyone

    I have a small business with 30 macs odd configuration. The server runs 10.7.5 and 10.9.5 customers.  I have long and hard battle thanks to a non-existent documentation on records of mobile home that I managed to create a stable environment using Active Directory, Open Directory and WorkGroup Manager (MCX).

    With the slow death of the PCS I'm now migration 10.10.5 system (server and clients). I'm trying to set up mobile home folders by a manager of profiles installed on the mac server. The Profile Manager works well, but the correct configuration for mobile home folders still eludes me.

    Ist there a complete documentation available or there at - it someone here who could shed some light on the subject?

    Any help would be appreciated :-)

    Ralph

    If some thoughts.  If Active Directory is the center of your domain, then the Foundation of mobile accounts is really easy as all you have to do is to link the AD positions.  For a complete control I suggest to use directory utility to bind the work stations (you can use a Configuration profile, but I'll get to that in a minute).  Using the directory utility, you must check the option "Create mobile account when connecting".  And there you have it, the mobile accounts through AD accounts.  There is no need for OS X Server, or profiled PCS achieve mobile accounts with AD as your domain name.  Just go to the login window, waiting for others... to appear, then connect using the credentials of the AD.  Always check the details of the connection by using sudo dsconfigad - show that he has hidden options that may apply to your environment (passinterval, packet signing, package encrypt, etc.).

    Ah, but you receive no management.  Link AD authentication and authorization but also provides password policy.  But beyond that, there is no way to apply GPOS through the windows system.  This results in the old days of double lie, lie to AD as the master and then directory management OD get PCS settings to manage the account.  This era is over.

    Today, if you want to manage Macs in an AD domain, you through the Profile Manager, JAMF, Airwatch or all other MDM solutions out there.  If you build on Apple.app, you'll need an Open Directory as OD master is where the settings of the Profile Manager are stored.  However, it does not need to link workstations to OD, except if you need to create groups of proxies that can not (or will not) created in AD.  Instead, you must bind the workstations to AD and enroll them in the Profile Manager.  If you want to only manage at the level of the Group of devices/device (and you don't need to enter the unique users or kerberiser all services such as OS X Server file sharing) you should be able to even to get away without tying the AD server.

    So, as a test, try this with one of your machines.  This is the manual way.  Later, you can build effective as creating a profile of attachment to AD in the Profile Manager, allowing you to register only and so get what you need.  So get a trial of machines.  This assumes that AD is always at the heart of the area and you have the configuration correctly Profile Manager on the OS X Server.  (this assumes that DNS is properly set)  It also requires that you allow Push Notification works on your network.  If you are behind Proxy Auth, you have to do.

    1: take a test workstation

    2: link to AD to ensure that the plugin active AD support mobile home.  Remove the window confirmation so desires.

    3: Verify that you can connect with an AD account and that the account offline caches

    4: enter the Device Manager profile through the web registration page (https://your.server.host/mydevices)

    5: create a device group and apply your management needs.  Don't forget, mobility is NOT necessary that the AD is already the application of the mobile account.  Try something very visual such as changing the appearance of the login window.

    6: add your device to the device group.

    7: confirm the receipt and the application of your settings.

    And it has the basics.  From there, you can streamline by incorporating the AD link in the Profile Manager, allowing a single step instead of several.  In addition, if you know your serial number of the device, you can add or import records from the placeholder, which before people volume groups.

    I hope this helps.  In many ways, AD makes the process easier.  If you are dumping AD and going right OD, then use the charge of mobility and make sure your OD accounts have a value of path and of the shell in the right folder.

  • Audio file corrupts when I import it to the Prime Minister.

    Hello

    I have an audio file recorded on a recorder in. MP3. It plays OK on the recorder and the Imac, but when I import to a project in PP CC 2015.4 there an audio from 1 sec it repeats. I can't yet make out is part of the original recording.

    Steps tried: -.

    1. I deleted the record off the coast of the Imac and re-imported to the coast of the recorder. It becomes correct when played on the Imac, but corrupts again when they are imported as mentioned above.

    2. I started a new project and imported the audio after going through step 1. and the same 1 second repetition happens.

    3. I tried to delete the original file on the Imac and create a new one in a different folder. Then important recording to him. He plays very well, but then again corrupts when imported to the Prime Minister.

    Below is a screenshot in the first pro of the imported file

    Any ideas please?

    Of course, I don't know what the settings were for the mp3 file, the compression and the frequency Hz... 44100, 48000, whatever... sometimes PrPro does not as well with MP3s as others. And it's sometimes better with other types of audio file.

    Have you considered conversion that perhaps WAV or something?

  • Help with excel import and delete the page script

    Hello. I will try to make it as simple as possible. I have some data from excel (saved as delimited by tabs) that I need to import in a 5 PDF page. I use the script below to import, and it works fine. All import fields and records the individual (one for each record) PDF. However, I need to extend this functionality by removing some pages before it saves the document by looking at the different boxes. The code below is what I use to import the records.

    // specify the filename of the data file
    var fileName = "/Users/MacMike/Desktop/Test.txt";  // the tab delimited text file containing the data
    var outputDir = "/Users/MacMike/Desktop/Dump/";    // make sure this ends with a '/'

    var err = 0;
    var idx = 0;
    while (err == 0) {
        err = this.importTextData(fileName, idx);    // imports the next record

        if (err == -1)
            app.alert("Error: Cannot Open File");
        else if (err == -2)
            app.alert("Error: Cannot Load Data");
        else if (err == 1)
            app.alert("Warning: Missing Data");
        else if (err == 2)
            app.alert("Warning: User Cancelled Row Select");
        else if (err == 3)
            app.alert("Warning: User Cancelled File Select");
        else if (err == 0) {
            this.saveAs(outputDir + this.getField("Full Name (First Last)").value + "-" + this.getField("Event Title").value + ".pdf"); // saves the file
            idx++;
        }
    }

    As I said before you import works surprisingly well.

    My PDF consists of 5 pages (info-registration, p1 = Dir-contract = p0, p2 = contract ndarp-brand, p3 = takes-contract, p4 = agreement must be brand). My idea is that on the import of data, the script will look at a few check boxes and determine which contracts to remove on the PDF and then save. I wrote the syntax of which, in my view, what it should look like. I'm not a programmer and know just a little bit. I looked through the documentation and this is what I came with. I don't know how to combine to work. Here's the code I came up with that.

    var dir = this.getField("Associate Director"); // checkbox
    var aldir = this.getField("Alumni Director"); // checkbox

    var fac = this.getField("Facilitator"); // checkbox
    var alfac = this.getField("Alumni Facilitator"); // checkbox

    var oyb = this.getField("Optimize Your Brain"); //checkbox
    var poyb = this.getField("DVD and Workbook Previously Purchased"); // checkbox

    // Below are all the possible training options.
    if (dir.value=="Checked" || aldir.value=="" || fac.value=="" || alfac.value=="" || oyb.value=="" || poyb.value=="") {
        this.deletePages({nStart:3, nEnd:4})
    }
    else if (dir.value=="" || aldir.value=="Checked" || fac.value=="" || alfac.value=="" || oyb.value=="" || poyb.value=="") {
        this.deletePages({nStart:3, nEnd:4})
    }

    else if (dir.value=="" || aldir.value=="" || fac.value=="Checked" || alfac.value=="" || oyb.value=="" || poyb.value=="") {

        this.deletePages(none) // I realize this is incorrect. Just showing that this option results in no deleted pages.
    }
    else if (dir.value=="" || aldir.value=="Checked" || fac.value=="" || alfac.value=="" || oyb.value=="Checked" || poyb.value=="") {
        this.deletePages(none) // I realize this is incorrect. Just showing that this option results in no deleted pages.

        this.deletePages({nStart:1, nEnd:2})
    }

    How to combine these two so that I can create a document temp import my data, check the boxes to check off and delete the appropriate pages and save the file and then go to the next record? I got the first part done. It imports large and has the right, but I don't know what to do next. Thanks for any help!

    Or y at - it another way to do this?

    Michael

    Wow. Ok. I had it works beautifully. There was a lot of trial and error. Because the script as it was would have, would open the original PDF, delete the pages needed, then save the file. While it would be to go to the next record is missing pages in PDF and bomb to open. I hunted and searched for a way to do this. I found "this.insertPages" in the documentation. Finally, what worked was so move the "save under" in the service and put it under every variation of check. So now when checking the boxes, he performs the check, removes the mandatory pages, stops, insertions of back in deleted pages from the original file, leave the service and finally goes to the next record.

    Here is my final script:

    // This code looks at an excel (tab delimited) file, imports the records into a PDF form 10 Pages long.
    // Then checks a series of checkboxes and deletes the pages that aren't associated with first page.
    // After it deletes these pages it reinserts the deleted pages so it can do the checks for the next record in the (tab delimited) file.

    // variables for importing excel data
    var err = 0;
    var idx = 0;
    var fileName = "/Users/MacMike/Desktop/Test.txt"; // the tab delimited text
    var outputDir = "/Users/MacMike/Desktop/Dump/";    // make sure this ends with a '/'

    //Checking a bank of 6 checkboxes and determine which pages need to be deleted, save the file, and the insearch the deleted pages again.
    function seekandDestroy() {
        if (dir.value=="Checked" && aldir.value=="Off" && fac.value=="Off" && alfac.value=="Off" && oyb.value=="Off" && poyb.value=="Off") {
            this.deletePages({nStart:6, nEnd:9})
            this.saveAs(outputDir + this.getField("Full Name (First Last)").value + "-" + this.getField("Event Title").value + ".pdf")
            this.insertPages({nPage:5, cPath:"/Users/MacMike/Desktop/TT Reg & Contracts.pdf", nStart:6, nEnd:9 });
        }
        else if (dir.value=="Off" && aldir.value=="Checked" && fac.value=="Off" && alfac.value=="Off" && oyb.value=="Off" && poyb.value=="Off") {
            this.deletePages({nStart:6, nEnd:9})

When I see the field "import exception" in the staging table HPCM_STG_ASGN_RULE_SEL it shows as ERROR_POV_GROUP_NOT_FOUND. What could be the reason? Help, please.

  • Import data from Excel in PDF with Acrobat Pro XI - is it possible? How?

    I need to be able to create a pdf file where certain information can be merged to an Excel spreadsheet in the pdf file so that our land use specialists can use tablets to fill the field. I also need to be able to create a field where the user can join or import a jpg file. Is it possible to do this with Acrobat Pro XI? Another program is necessary. I need to know the answers to my questions by January 28, 2016.

    Hi shannonr80675036,

    Yes, but you there are two things you need to do in Excel for this to work:

    Columns must be named the same as the field names in the PDF form. The names that you use in your PDF form, or you must change the names of fields in the PDF form so that they correspond to the column names in Excel, you can either match. In this example, I took the first approach and used the field names as my column headings:

    When you export your data to Excel file, you must select the "Tab Delimited Text" format. It is one of the export options in Excel (and other spread sheet applications) which is available when you select file > save as:

    Once you have your tabs-delimited text file, open your PDF form, and then select Tools > forms > more form Options and click Import:

    In the file dialog box, select this option to import a text file, browse to your exported text file and select it. In the next screen, you can then choose what import record, you can import only one record at a time:

    This will complete the PDF form with the selected values:

    That, for each record you have in your Excel file and save the PDF file under a new name.

    Kind regards

  • Best way to import all of the objects located on a new master repository repository work

    Hello

    We have two separate master repositories, one for all repositories of development work (development, ST, UAT, IAT) and one for Production.

    What would be the best approach to export and import all the objects from the Dev repository in the repository of Prod work located on the master repository Prod.

    Internal ID of all repositories of work are different.

    We have tried to put everything in a solution and that export, but it does not work when we tried to import it.

    Successfully, we have exported and imported a simple scenario, but it is not very practical because we have more than 500 scenarios.

    Any suggestions welcome,

    Thank you

    NIC

    I have the same setup. I found it useful to group my scripts into folders and you can then export the records themselves, rather than the individual scenarios.  Import records in the same way that you would incorporate a scenario.  This means that I have only export/import of the 4 elements rather than 300.
