    Hello

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

    Hello

Can I save the image to an image file and then reload the file on another computer for the image processing? What type of image format should I save for it? Is there any loss of image if I do this? The machine with the camera sits in our lab, and I want to test the software on my own computer image processing. So can someone give some good ideas on this. Thank you

I assume you have the module development VDM and vision acquisition software going TO on your computer.

So just use playback IMAQ and IMAQ save functions. BMP, png are good for losless save unlike jpg and jpeg2000.

How can I move a picture of one image to another file

If the file is located in a folder in your own user account and you want to move to another folder in your user account, simply open the windows and right-click/drag the file. If you want to make available to another user on the file system, copy in the Public directory. That's what the Public is for.

  • Redirection of files that previously were routed on Vista Home Premium

    Hello

I'll explain that a little more in detail. Before a BSOD that required me to use the image of a Builder to retrieve, I had a few user folders redirected to C: files on the D: drive on drive D: files were left intact i.e. they were not affected by the image recovery. Only C: drive has been restored to the original image.
I need to implement a method that will be the Windows files on the D: drive when normal access Windows for new user on C: files occurs.
I tried a redirect that seems to move files that I don't want to do. Because the files on the D: drive came out of the original redirection, if I use the option "Restore Default" on these files, and then to have the original values for drive c: means that they copied just return, once again something I want mainly because it reduces the space on the C: partition.
Can I create a kind of link to point (and not move) on the D: drive?
    TIA

No, it won't, it will transfer personal files and settings. You will have to reinstall your applications from the original installation files or install CDs and DVDs.

  • Is it possible to import image files directly into an open document?

Is it possible to import a series of image files, say jpegs, directly in an open document, rather than having to open all image files with drag-and - move each individual in the open document? Specifically, I'm a dentist and I often get sent to me by other offices digital x-ray images. But they come as 16 or 18 separate image files and I need to put them in a virtual "chest x-ray: mount", so I can see them all at once, rather than having to open all images and alternate between them. So I opened a blank document in PS (CS4), then I navigate to the folder that contains all the image files that I received, select all and open them all. In PS, I can now click on each tab of the image and drag the image into the void "montage" and close the image. This new image would then become its own layer in the document 'mount '. But I must repeat this 18 times for each patient. I thought that if there was a way to open the new document "mount" and then select all of the image files and 'import' somehow all image directly in the document - essentially "automate" - which would save me time and aggravation cargo! Anyone out there have any suggestions? Thank you very much!! Dr G.

Yes, but after you have all your images as layers in a new document, that you can simply select all the layers of-> and then drag them to your document in one fell swoop.

  • JPEG image is displayed in the selected image files folder

When the discovery of the computer and selecting the image file folder - I use to get the small real individual images of each image in the folder without having to enter in the Windows Photo Gallery.  Now, I have only an icon, the same as that for each of the images and the only way I can see that the actual image is to select a specific icon and hope that is the image I'm looking for.  Can someone tell me how I can get all the individual photos in the folder of image file to display when I select that folder?

    Hi looking, advanced

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

I first suggest you to change the display of the photo icons folder type medium or large icons and check if that helps.

To do this, follow these steps:

Open the photo folder. Click view > select icons medium or large icons.

Make sure that default programs > associate a file or protocol type with a program, file types .bmp, .ico, DIBs, .jfif, .jpeg, .jpe, .png, .png, .tiff, .tif, .wdp file names must have the default program like Windows Photo Gallery.

Otherwise, select the type of file name, click on change program and browse to choose as default Windows Photo Gallery.

Additionally, set the global folder options

To specify the global settings that apply to all folders, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Folder Options.
    2. On the general tab, click the options you want.
    3. In the view tab, click the options you want.
    4. Click OK.

Note To restore the default settings for all folders, click restore defaults on the general tab or on the view tab.

Use the same display settings for all folders

You can apply the same view settings to all folders on your computer. You cannot apply the same view settings for all folders, images icons, toolbar settings or tasks folder. To apply the same view settings to all folders, follow these steps:

    1. Locate and open the folder which includes the display setting you want to use for all folders.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
    3. On the view tab, click apply to all folders.
    4. Click Yes, and then click OK.

Note To reset all folders to the default display settings, repeat these steps, but click reset all folders in step 3.

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

Can't delete the photos that you are synchronizing from a computer to your phone directly in the Photos app on the phone, instead, then they are removed by including not in the next synchronization picture - so you're saying actually iTunes to replace the photos that you have just synchronized with a new set of photos. You must select and synchronize all the photos that you want from your computer all at once

If I copy & paste an image file (jpeg, for example) that I downloaded from the internet to the folder of photos on my Mac, is it automatically imported in the Photos app? Note that the picture on my Mac folder is the folder that contains the file "Library.photoslibrary Photos".

N ° you must actively import photos with the file-> import... command.

Given that you can delete the file as soon as it is imported - if you have the copy in the library checked preferences - I use a folder called 'imports' on my desk to separate files that I'm importing. Once they are imported files into the import folder can trash.
