  I am trying to configure ACS 5.2 to assign the VLAN to a dynamic user based on the group to which the user belongs. I went to:

  Users and identity stores-> external identity-> Active Directory-> tab directory stores groups

  and selected the name of the pub group. If I understand correctly, I should now see this group by virtue:

  Elements of strategy-> authorization and permissions->-> authorization profiles for access to the network-> common tasks-> VLAN ID/name

  However, it is not. Am I missing something?

  ' VLAN id/name "is, in the name clearly States, a vlan id or name. Not a "group name".

  You don't assign it a group name in the vlan.

  The name of the group must go to the condition 'if' in your authorization profile. If "usergroup AD = x" and then assign this vlan.

  Then the id/name vlan's you type manually what vlan refers to the users AD Group.

  If you create too many rules because you have a lot of ad groups, you can do is create an AD AD attribute to store the number of vlan name and ACS will simply return that.

  We are the migration of vSphere 4.1 and 5.1

  Not by update manager, but manually adding hosts an accumulation 5.1!

  Here's the thing, each virtual machine that will be imported/created/deployed to this new vCenter 5.1 will have a corresponding pre configuration of group by our admin guy!

  For — for example, if the virtual computer name is vm_0123, a group called "SVR_VM_0123" would be ready and waiting to be assigned to this specific virtual machine, and then to a role. And this permission will be set at the virtual machine level.

  And now, all the virtual machines that will be added to 4.1 and 5.1 have their configuration of groups!

  So can automate us the "attribution" permissions on each computer virtual imported/created (a role common to the respective groups) through PowerCLI?

  I assume you have the virtual computer name in the variable $vmName, then you could do

  $vm = get-VM-name $vmName

  New-VIPermission-body $vm - main ("SVR_" + $vmName) - role $role

  You can place these lines in a loop.

  This could be for example a loop, controlled by the content of a CSV file.

  Something like that

  Import-Csv C:\vmnames.csv | %{

  Before you import the Group.csv file I did due to changes in the file 'Sourceinfo.xml ':

  You probably have lines with empty group names. For the children of group you will see something like this:

  #group_children

  group_id, group_provider, user_id, ID, user_provider

  MY group, User1, native Directory name

  MY group, user2, native Directory name

  If you have a line with just commas "," so maybe it's why you get the error message

  When you add a G1, G2 to G3 provisioning of g1 and g2 doesn't apply to the g3. Instead, it's the other way around. G1 and G2 will have some G3 has commissioned.

  Have you tried findGroups?

  You get a result set with only one entry and then just do a:

  long groupKey = groups.getLongValue("Groups.Key");

  I bought two layer 3 PC 6248 switches. When I try to assign an IP address by default VLAN 1, it displays an error 'failed to remove management VLAN - ID ".  These predisposees are already preconfigured with the IP address 192.168.0.1 for VLAN 1. I would like to delete this IP address and assign one in the range 10.10.1.x for VLAN 1. But this is NOT possible.

  Can someone please help me to remove this preconfigured IP, so that I can attribute my interest?

  Michael, at the moment it is impossible to perform this task automatically. Also, I recommend do not use the "Group" functionality in CRM On Demand for data records.
  It's OK to use it for calendar sharing.

  I created a template and saved, and then I tried to create a message filter. However, there is no option for "Reply with template" in the list of choices for the action to perform. I see choices of action, for "Copy Message To", "move the Message to ' and"Forward Message To", but not"answer with model.

  Why is it missing and how to get what it appears?

  I think I knew what is happening.

  First of all, I am a new user of Thunderbird. I have been using e-mail program from Apple on my Mac for many years. Since the upgrade to Maverick, his remark that the Mac mail program is unstable sometimes causing my Mac to freeze, sometimes lose my ability to change windows desktop, and slow clumsy scrolling problems in the e-mail program, but also the temporary e-mail program freeze.

  I said incorrectly that the Folderpanes changed the way that my folder pane displays things. It's the Conversation that made... FolderPane Tools let me reorganize and that's all. But information changed the way the things that have been presented in that in records added to organize by inboxes, sent, trash, etc. And models was one of these records, he added.

  Being unfamiliar with the models as I'm new to Thunderbird. Here is what happened. I created a message and saved as a template. I didn't realize that it was married to a particular account. And when I looked at the file of models I do not remember to see a subfolder for the specific account, for which the model was.

  After reading your last email that I removed the two add and my accounts appears in the folders pane as they did originally, most notable was the Inbox and folders of model disappeared.

  I tried to create a filter for a specific account and the problem remains, but I was wondering where my registered design went because I couldn't find it. So I created another and discovered that has created a new folder called Templates for the account that I was trying to make the filter "reply with template". And then I could see the "reply with template" option when creating a filter.

  To understand what was wrong in the first place, I reinstalled the Conversations, and all folders (Inbox, sent, trash, models) have been reinstated. I looked in the template folder and saw two subfolders, one for the account that I just created the new model and one for my default account. In my default account was the original model I've saved. And now when I try to create a filter by using the original template, I see the answer with the template option.

  I can no longer reproduce the problem since the Conversations, creating a second template and then uninstalling reinstalling Conversations.

  So, the problem is solved, but something is not quite write when the first model created during the installation of the add-on of Conversations. I don't remember see a subfolder in the Templates folder when I created the first model... I could be wrong, but all I remember is the model itself in the Template folder, and not in a subfolder. So I guess that the answer with the Template option did not appear because the model I made did not seem to be assigned to an account.

  Which, according to me, a better method would be to have the reminder SequenceFilePostStep increment a counter FileGlobal only when a subsequence in the main group of MainSequence has been called.  I already understood how to get the total number of subsequences MainSequence into the main group using the expression:

  RunState.SequenceFile.AsSequenceFile.GetSequenceByName ("MainSequence"). GetNumSteps (StepGroup_Main).

  It is the bold part above that I don't know how to do and that you would be grateful for assistance in this regard.  Once I have these two values that I can simply divide the two and send a UserMessage interface operator with completion percentage.

  Instead of having the SequenceFilePostStep in your file of the client's sequence, you can put the statement step in the process template using a reminder of ProcessModelPostStep.

  Previously, when I said the words, I meant the prerequisite, but I think that you understood what I meant...

  It's a thing of style and readability - a precondition will make your movie look nice and compact, whereas an IF / END block improves readability, etc..

  I am currently writing sequences to use flow control measures (IF / END, SELECT / CASE, FOR, WHILE) for USE related to logical tests, where decision making or a loop is part of the requirements customer and pre conditions TestStand logic such as this.

  I have Windows Vista. On my toolbar of Windows Mail, there is no pull down for "new group contacts. He goes to the file/new/contacts, and that's all! The new group contacts seems to have dissappeared in option.

  If you are referring to the list of Windows Contacts, you should be able to restore this functionality by right-clicking in an empty area and choosing Properties. In the Properties screen go to the tab customize and change the use this folder type as a template to Contacts.

  If your happy with your current set up, why bother?  We use specific to certain areas groups AP to limit the SSID of the Department.

  I didn't realize it was now mandatory, the top of my head, I guess the intent is to stop all your SSID broadcast without worrying, as soon as you plug in a new light AP.

  I have set up groups of AP for each remote location. My question is this:

  For these places distant in the AP group configuration, should I maps all the SSID to the management interface, or I should map it to the dynamic interface?  I.e. to Corp.--> Management, warehouse--> warehouse, guest--> comments.

  For local access points, I do the SSID mapping for each interface, but I don't know that it's important for my remotes.

  Help is greatly appreciated.

  For your remote offices FlexConnect APs.

  If WLAN is configured for local switching, then users will get IP of the interface that you corresponding in the mapping section vlan in the AP configuration. (interface by default yield under general WLAN or the AP group WLAN configuration section is not a problem)

  If WLAN is configured for central switching, then you must assign a correct dynamic interface under the WLAN-> General section or AP group WLAN configuration.

• ACS 5.2 assignment of authorization with nested groups in LDAP

  I have a Cisco Secure ACS 5.2 on a virtual machine. We use it for administrative access to our equipment Cisco GANYMEDE +. I use LDAP to authenticate with acitive directory. I currently run when a user is directly in the group that is assigned.  I change the way in which assign us group permissions and have created nested groups.

  For example:

  -User1 is a member of group1

  g -roup1 is a member of the "Group 2".

  I have card group2 to have access to my devices. However, User1 is not get mapped to the Group of law and access is denied.

  When I go to the monitoring, reporting and authentication GANYMEDE + details, under other attributes where it shows the outside groups the user is a member, I don't see group2, only group1.

  However when User1 is a member of group2 directly, the user is able to log on.

  GBA 5.2 not does support permissions allow this how to use nested groups?

  Mapping of nested groups is not supported by LDAP (because users containing that attribute memberOf groups just above them, are not nested). It is a behavior deafult when we use nested with LDAP groups. You must add subgroups for GBA and both respective authorization rules.
