Impossible to deploy Configuration

After this article, I can't deploy configurations. Here is the error message I get:

vCenter Lab Manager could not find pools of hosts or resources to deploy those virtual machines.
   at LabManager.Backend.CDeployableVMContainer.DeployVMs(DeployOptions options, CVirtualMachine[] vms)
   at LabManager.Backend.CDeployableVMContainer.Deploy(DeployOptions deployOptions, List`1 vmList)

My hosts, data warehouses, and Resource Pools all seem to be OK and online. vCenter seems to operate normally.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Thank you!

weird... uh... Is there still a pool of resources assigned to this organization and the workspace?  The message is as if there is no compatible host.

1. the need to ensure that we have a cluster/host/PR assigned to Org and workspace

2. check the physics of networks, to ensure that each ESX host has successfully bound to it

3. ensure that the data store where the virtual machines are available for each ESX host and are enabled for the provision of the VM.

  • Problems to change my url endpoint data control for Web Service design time vs deploy times. Where is the url of time to deploy the "deployment configuration" stored?

    https://blogs.Oracle.com/ADF/entry/changing_endpoint_url_for_a_web_service_data_control

Using this link as a reference, I created a data control Web Service, and when I deploy via JDeveloper for different environments I can change my point of endpoint accordingly on this screen:

    Capture.PNG

However when I change my point of termination at the design time, the changes do not appear in the screen "Configuration of the deployment. This would not normally be a problem, but our automated deployment (maven/ant) seems to keep picking up the url "Deployment Configuration" instead of what we change in the DataControl.dcx. So I have a few questions:

    1. Why is there a difference between what we have in the source code and what is shown on this ""Deployment Configuration "screen for manual deployment of JDeveloper? "

    2. where is this "Deployment Configuration" end point url located? I can change it during an automated deployment as I can on a manual deployment?

    3. What is the best practice to change a url endpoint to the Web Service data control with during an automated deployment?

It turns out that the connections.xml had the url of the endpoint that the profile of the deployment and jdeveloper was referencing at deployment time.

In order to get our automated generation work, we use a search and replace of Ant utility to change endpoint in this connections.xml before construction/deployment of the application.

  • Deployment/Configuration 12 c problem Agent of OEM 12 c Console upgrade

    Greetings,

I'm still struggling with the difficulties of deployment/Configuration of the agent from the Console to upgrade Enterprise Manager 12 c 12. I use the method 2-system. Several agents were deployed properly, but the health check shows that the ping test failed. I found many discussions of the problem, but many of them are related to the deployment and configuration of a new agent from the console 12 c. The only note I could find about my this is Metalink Note [1377436.1] EM 12 c: upgrade health report deployed 12 c Agent Agent shows "Ping Test failed.

I am able to start the agent of 12 c and we found several suggestions including resecuring the agent, using emctl to clear the status of the agent, but none of those helped.

Some of the things I see are when the agent 12 c is emctl status returns SGD Version: (unknown). emctl ping SGD returns agent blocked by WHO. An interesting thig I see is a warning in the file - gcagent.log

2013-01-24 09:39:23, 076 [167:B5BF5C12:GC. Executor.1 (Ping WHO)] WARN - bad ping interval (EM_PING_NOTIF_RESPONSE: ERROR-Plugin information do not correspond with the repository)

which leads me to think the problem can be related plugin. If it is indeed the case, I'm not able to find information telling me how to fix plugin.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

  • ConfigurationException when deploy "CONFIGURATION IMPOSSIBLE! File not found. "

    Hi all

My App adf deployment fails with the following error. Although until yesterday, it was a failure, but at least it was going much further than that. What is causing this error? I make changes to the file config.xml, and then restored. Any help is appreciated. This is crucial.

You have a faces - config.xml in the directory WEB - INF file?

You probably have something like the following in your web.xml file:

        com.sun.faces.config.ConfigureListener

You have this class in the classpath? The jars containing this class are presented here: http://www.findjar.com/class/com/sun/faces/config/ConfigureListener.html

  • Deployment configuration, review, Jabber - config.Xml

    Hi all

Doing my best to get better acquainted with Jabber and its configuration and to improve its functionality beyond the current "It works", but I have meet some roadblocks, including a few I will detail here.

The first thing I wanted to address was last updated the file config.xml - jabber with some specific parameters common to our business, trivial as failing for the landline phone rather than the phone software, to things more as actually specifying a server update here on the premise.  The first and perhaps the main question I have is trying to deploy this file (the one I created using jabber - config.html).  I can't yet confirm that I have configured correctly because I can't deploy in the way I want.

Currently, jabber - config.xml does not live locally on my PC.  There is a jabberlocalconfig.xml, but no jabber-config.  I found on the TFTP server, i.e. a config.xml file - jabber in the list of downloaded files, so I guess it's crazy.  Maybe not.  I would like to deploy the file I created in this very way, but until I can test it locally, I am not prepared to transfer to the masses (assuming again, it grows at all).  I tried to empty this file in the configuration file local under AppsData\Roaming...etc etc and even deleted all files jabberlocalconfig (she and her backup) before spinning towards the top of Jabber, but the moment that Jabber launches, the config.xml file - JAB is deleted and soon replaced by the file jabberlocalconfig (now ' white' (no previous stored parameters)).

My first thought is that jabberlocal is perhaps a reflection of the config.xml file - jabber being pushed down, and our implementation partner did nothing to customize.  Download my file to TFTP could probably solve the problem.  Before that, I would have preferred to go over all that happens with the existing jabber-config on TFTP file, but I can't seem to download, CLI tftp SERVER get jabber - config.xml, either through the http://SERVER:6790 / jabber-config.  Be able to see the existing file would allow me to compare it to what is recreated and perhaps to make sense of it.

The other idea is just that maybe jabberlocal is just ignorant jabber-config and for some reason, the local settings are common.  Similarly, maybe jabber-config is not yet pushed.  I restart the TFTP service on the pub and the sub as a Hail Mary of all kinds.

TL; DR: Is there a way I can download a copy of the file config.xml - jabber in show in the TFTP on CUCM files list so that I can see him again?  Is it supposed to be a local copy of a config xml file called jabber - config.xml, or the local copy of the configuration settings is called something else?  Is there a way I can deploy a jabber - updated config.xml to date the only Jabber user (me) for testing purposes before pushing it at all without that crushing the Jabber Client at startup?

    Bonus questions:

1.) something else I wanted to address this custom configuration jabber has been getting images of work on our fleet of iPad/iPhone.  Another thread suggested here that you may need allow photos contact EDI collection methods and BDI host Windows and non-windows.  Is it true, or is there a simple method to import photos that satisfied both environments?

2.) was the control of menu updates to Jabber 10.6.x?  I remember seeing it on 10.5.x (and having it fail because I do not think that it either has been implemented at the time), but I could not find in the menu to 10.6.2.  Maybe he'll show up if I can get this config file (which I hope correctly pointing to updated web site) or maybe the functionality has been decommissioned.

My apologies if this sounds elementary, I'm still learning the tricks of the trade with this kind of thing.

You can download the same as a file for setting up the phone

    http://docwiki.Cisco.com/wiki/Endpoints_FAQ#How_to_download_a_phone_.cnf...

And Jabber documentation also covers this:

To verify that the configuration file is available on your TFTP server, open the configuration file in any browser. As a general rule, you can access the global configuration file to the following ADDRESS: http://tftp_server_address:6970 / jabber - config.Xml

No, in 10.6 there no local copy, only in previous versions.

Yes, jabber documentation covers how to define the scope of support for Cisco, so you can use a specific configuration for certain endpoints, it applies only to the J4W and J4M. For Jabber clients which do not show the field of support, you can't anything in addition to the default config file

On photos and directory, Yes, config EDI applies only to the J4W, all other clients, require the BDI config to work. If you have a mix, you need two directory entries configured.

I'm running 10.6.1 and I do not see the verification of updates, very probably, you must enable and configure the feature appears, I have not tested in my lab.

  • New SDK and Simulator installed, BUT impossible to deploy on Simulator... Simulator Option out - sail Buritto OSX

    Hey guys,.

I installed the new 1.0.1 SDK and Simulator without problems...

In my prefs Burrito... I chose BlackBerry Tablet OS and change 0.94 path to the 1.0.1 folder sdk...

When I try to set up the debug configuration... I can only run my application locally... Cannot select the option Simulator... It is unselectable and greyed out

    See this screen below:

Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks in advance.

Never mind... It's been a while since I deployed Simulator... You must click the radio button device... to select the Simulator... Who is intuitive?

  • Impossible to deploy the rules posted in HFM

I'm trying to convert my rules based on scripts at Calc Manager in HFM 11.1.2.3.502. I can load the rules by type and validate them successfully, but when I checked, and you try to deploy, I get the following error:

"Objects of consolidation can be deployed.

Is there a switch to reverse that will allow me to use the Calc Manager or some other configuration that I'm missing?

Do not have many selected item. The menu in the upper part applies to any selected item in the UI (which here is not valid). To only have selected the application node or right-click on the application node and you should see a deployment option.

  • Postgrase vRA distributed deployment Configuration

    Hello

We provide deployment distributed for vRA 6.2.2 and have question around the Postgres SQL Server implementation. Documentation talking about DB server between vRA device cluster. Does vRA mandatory distributed deployment requires vPostgres in cluster or can I separate a single instance of Postgres and post the two HRV to the same device.

We do not want cluster DB server unless it is mandatory for the vRA.

If only Postgres can meet the requirement, is there no specific configuration in DB let connect the two devices to HRV?

Yes, you can use simple Postgres and works without any problem. And there is no specific requirement as such. He usually recommendation to have Postgres clustered for HA.

  • Attempting the Impossible? Deploy Enterprise CF11 WAR on Tomcat 7 azur?

I'm working on a proof of concept to my more scalable app and the reduction of the footprint of the support on the correction of the BONE.

I'm taking a CF11 company produces WAR file and deploy it to a web application to Azure Tomcat 7. I've never deployed CF apps on J2EE before, so I don't know if my problems are user error, or to attempt the impossible.

I can launch Azure, deploy a server Tomcat 7 and put a war (no CF) upwards in the webapp folder and watch it deploy and become usable.  But conditioned when the CF war, he explodes the directory out correctly, but then refuses to run the web application.

So I installed a x 64 local copy of Tomcat 7.0.50 (same version that Azure) and tried the same thing. Locally, the WAR sample files (no CF) has worked, but when I tried a war produced by the administrator on CF11 - the index.cfm page (with only a cfdump inside) fails.

Near as I can tell, it has to do with the Web.XML generated by CF 11 Assistant packaging and deployment. It is the most relevant error in my log to stderr. It appears in the errorlog of azure and my only local:

    Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid < url-pattern > *.htm / * in the filter mapping

My suspicion is that there is something in the url-pattern that is not compatible with Tomcat mappings. Maybe something in the part of HIS (safe search engine)?

I had always naively believed that deploying CF as a WAR was really easy. Just create the package and copy it to the top. Of course, Miss something.

Anyone has any advice? Advice? Places to pick up?

I hope to get to the point where I can have a cluster of Azure AutoScaling CF11 applications that share on the cluster j2ee sessions. But I can not even past the first step...

For those following, I did a lot of tweaking and adjusting the settings and files to the web.xml file and progressing. (slowly)

Ultimately, however, I ended up successfully using azure of the next web application:

    -JVM - update 1.8 25

    -Tomcat 7.0.62

    -11 updated CF update

And once I got this combination, the war of the files generated by the CF11 deployment business just as easily as I thought they should. I needed to use the 'preview again' gate on azure to specify these versions. They were not available on the blue 'normal' portal provisioning.

I also discovered that it seems to be very few places where we talk about CF j2ee deployment.

  • Impossible to deploy - issues with SSL keys?

Hi - I was unable to get the last BDE (2.0) deployed in a new environment of vCenter.

    The environment is the following:

    A host ESXi - 5.5 build 1623387

    BDE 2.0.0.951 build 1885370

NTP and DNS are configured and tested.

Deployment of seems to work fine, but I can't go beyond the error at initialization:

I can't create objects as they cause an error "Unable to connect to vCenter Server" - it sounds like the BDE unit is to have a hard time, import the SSL vCenter keys. Has anyone seen this?  Any thoughts on getting a pass? Thank you! -Andrew

Hi, could attach you the /opt/serengeti/logs/*.log files on server BDE?  And your BDE VAPP is deployed in the vCenter rather than the host ESX cluster?  You will see this error if it is deployed on the ESX host.

  • Impossible to deploy Org VDC. Can not find the list of resources

I am trying to deploy a new network of vdc org but get the error "Failed to find a list of resources for the implementation of edge gateway"

I can see the dvswitch is created in VC Client but then he removes immediately set and gives the error.

I deleted once today the vcd and started from scratch but still making the same mistakes?

Someone had this or know where to look?

    See you soon

    Solution has been found.

I found the problem in the log for debugging on the servers of the cell. You can see try storage and do not.

For those of you who also see this question, then please check the following recommended by vmware supports known issues.

Make sure that your storage space has been configured correctly and that you have profiles of storage associated with it.

You will also need to show your thresholds for storage as it is also a question to know the cause.

For me, I had to create a new storage cluster and move this cluster of each data store.

Then refresh the profiles of storage within the VC of VCD element and also to update the connection of VC in VCD.

Then restart the Service of VC on the VC Server

Restart the vShield Manager and then wait 5 minutes for the vShield Manager to resynchronize itself and return to normal.

Now, try again and I hope that you will be successful

Hi, I use Oracle Fussion Middleware 11.1.2.3.0... with Weblogic 10.3

I did all the configurations via Nodemanager and the Admin and managed server works very well... • WebCenter large Portal Site with Jar of deployment/Configuration files

    Hello

I have a large portal of WCS to deploy comprising many different groups 'applications'.
Ideally, we want to deploy as an .ear file, containing menus, templates, preferences and a few other common structures.
We want to challenge each request as a .jar File. What is the best way to do it?

Can we build menus pointing to Taskflow .jar files without incorporating the .jar file in the application?

    Thank you very much

    João,

To use the workflow in your WebCenter Portal Application you provide in JDeveloper, ADF JAR library classpath.
However, when you deploy your WebCenter portal, you can configure your deployment profile to only deploy the library with the WebCenter Portal Application.
Then just reference the shared lib deployment in weblogic.xml file.

    Kind regards.

  • Impossible to deploy 11.0.03 on the 11.0.02

As I have done for the past year and a bit since management deployment Flash/Reader etc. here, I tried the 11.0.03 deployment starting yesterday. Follow the same procedure that I always have that so far has not failed to work: download the offline install from the link provided when I signed, extract the MSI file, create an AIP, patching the MSI file, create my transformation using Customization Wizard, begin testing. However, this latest version fails. I thought that maybe I had a corrupted download, went through all the previous steps 2 times more. I constantly get an erro 1638: another version of this product is already installed. Yes, another version is... 11.0.02. y at - there some problem with this version where it is unable to install over the previous XI player installed and needs a clean install? I ran successfully it no drivers during the installation and Reader X.

    Hello

How do you create the AIP for 11.0.03. You must create the AIP for 11.0 and then patch updated the agreement in principle with 11.0.03 to create the AIP for 11.0.03

Don't include all the other patches in the meantime.

    for example

    1. Once you have downloaded the 11.0.03 EXE and extracts into a folder, it will contain the following files, lets say "C:\extract" contains these files

    2. now, create the AIP for 11.0.0 using the following command, where C:\Test123 is the location where 11.0.0 AIP is created, so first navigate to the extracted location and then create AIP for 11.0.0

    > cd C:\extract

    > msiexec /a AcroRead.msi TARGETDIR = "C:\Test123."

    3. now, create AIP for 11.0.03, because that's all first go to C:\Test123

    > cd C:\Test123

    > msiexec /a AcroRead.msi /p C:\extract\AdbeRdrUpd11003.msp TARGETDIR = "C:\Test123."

Now, the C:\Test123 contains 11.0.03 Reader AIP

    4. create your changes (if necessary)

    5. apply the patch with this command, having sailed to C:\Test123

    > msiexec /i AcroRead.msi REINSTALL = ALL REINSTALLMODE = vomus

This way you can install the AIP 11.0.03 on any installation AIP existing player (it doesn't have to be a clean OS)

The method above is a methodology of GPO underlyting when you upgrade the package in Group Policy Editor, and bind the object to any ORGANIZATIONAL unit

  • Impossible to manually configure the wireless settings.

I have an Apple Time Capsule of 7.7.7 version and no matter what I do I can't seem to accept my manual settings wireless.  My building a House requires several APs to provide adequate coverage, and time Capsule keeps selecting wireless channels that are in conflict with other access points in the House.  Does anyone know of a work around that will allow me to force the desired channels? I use a Windows PC 10 with Airport Utility for Windows version 5.6.1 configure time Capsule. Here are the steps I followed:

-Select the "Time Capsule" on the left side

-Click on the "Manual Configuration" button at the bottom

    -Select the tab "wireless".

    -Radio mode - menu drop down select "802. 11A / n - 802. "11b / g ' (very intentional)

-Radio channel selection - I select in the drop-down "manual."

-Select 'change... '. "and choose"36"for the 5 GHz channel and '1' for channel 2.4 GHz, then 'Ok '.

    -Select "Update."

After restarting the device, I check the settings and I find...

-Radio mode is back 'automatic '.

-Selection of the radio channel is 'Automatic' and channels do not necessarily match what I selected initially.

    Someone at - it advice?

The main problem is that the version of the AirPort for Windows utility is not designed to work with 802.11ac airport base stations. Unfortunately, Apple has not updated this utility since Windows 7.

The other problem is that Apple has "dumb - which crashed" AirPort Utility for Macs and the iOS devices with version 6.x. One of the things that he removed has the possibility to define patterns of radio and channels that "stick" to the 802.11ac base stations.
