• An entry to determine the output of a polymorphic VI?

  Hi all

  I communicate between producer/consumer loop using a queue. The queue would be element is a group consisting of an enum type def and a Variant. In the variant data type will depend on the State of the enum.

  I would use a Subvi to convert the variant of the original data type. The first option that occurs is a Subvi simple with an output for each type of data and relevant output wire. The second option that occurs would be a polymorphic VI where the user selects the State concerned.

  What I would do, it is the inside of my case structure to my Subvi terminal wire and have it change dynamically (before execution) to the appropriate output type. It would be similar to the function "auto" existing on screw polymorphic someone can tell me if this is possible?

  Yes it is possible with LVOOP, the first thing I thought looking at one of the first examples of LVOOP was 'Runtime Polymoprhism'.

  What you do is create a class "DataTypes", with a 'Read' method

  Then a 'DataType1' class that inherits from "DataTypes."

  You create a queue type "DataTypes", and you sent in an object of type 'DataType1' in your system dequeu you use the 'DataTypes.Read' method, LabVIEW will select the appropriate Manager of a class of the child to process the data.

  There should be an (impossible to check now) example that shows that for 'bacteria' tests or something like that.

  It started just happening whenever I have try and run / debug for my device running 10.2. Tried the obvious restart / reboot... updated to 10.2... Update IDE to 2.0... Still nothing... No logs, error codes, nothing, just that the error!

  Just go to "Run" > "Run Configurations...". " on the tab 'Upload' in the 'Deployment' section select 'Install the app bar file' , then 'Apply' and 'Run'
  Do the same for the Configurations Debug...
  After that, I can running or debugging my application!

• calibration of Agilent N5183 Signal generator for specific output level

  Hello

  Newbie to labview environment!  I'm writing a VI to calibrate Agilent N5183 to a specific output.  For example if I want to have-4.5 dBm output of my installation (as stated on my electricity meter) I'll have to set the sig gen to say 7 dBm given my losses, etc.

  How can pointers, I start to weld it?  I think I'll have to create a while loop to check the levels of power, but I don't know how to increment and decrement the amplitude of sig gen and stop at the desired level!

  Why is it that step at all?  It is not clear from your description, what makes the difference between the reading of the gauge and the output level of the sigGen parameter.

  I have done many times.  Especially in the RF field, you want your tests to have a certain level of power to the object to be measured.  We therefore have to adjust your signal generator to compensate losses in cables, couplers, etc.

  To do this, all you have to do is set your generator to the desired level.  Then measure with the power meter.  Subtract the measurement of the desired and add that much more to the output.  Repeat if necessary.  I advise to use a conditional TO the loop so that you can easily set a limit to how many times adjust you (I've been in infinite loops due to the weird situations here).

• Unable to determine the correct Content Type or length when connecting via HTTP

  Right now I'm developing a streaming audio application.

  And I have the resources and the sample apps u.

  Then when I open a connection and I print the content type of the page that contains the audio file

  It shows a text/plain type.

  The length is also displayed but bad as: 24.

  So basically it is not consider as an audio file.

  Next when I try a random url like http://www.google.com

  The length is always-1. (impossible to determine the length)

  The content type is correct.

  And when I pass some invalid/non-existent url, it gives a number at random. like 29 or 39.

  Suggestions/ideas?

  Hello, I have this error in my Alpha camera

  Download and launch the application... "has encountered a problem.

  Impossible to determine the returned PID of launch

  When I change something between the user interface sometimes I get this error.

  I know this is an alpha of the device and I do not get errors, but this one is really annoying because the only option I have is to restore the operating system, whenever this error, and it's a lot of time.

  Please if anyone has a patch 'temporary' for this problem will be asked because it breaks my development in my application every time.

  I have a laptop HP ProBook 6560 b under Windows 7 (32 bit).

  To my knowledge, all the drivers are up to date.

  When recording audio, I need to be able to maintain the level of output (speakers / headphones) quite low while increasing the entry level (applications, Internet Explorer, Chrome...) so that the level is acceptable.

  When I try to raise the level of input device (up cursor), the output level automatically increases (gray online across all the sliders)...

  I don't want to listen to full volume just to get a level of acceptable record volume.

  Is it a kind of humorous function? It's less interest!

  How can I change this behavior?

  I want to get rid of the gray horizontal line that connects all the volume sliders

  If you increase your entry level while listening, it makes sense that your reading level will also increase - the input signal increases, so will the output resistance.

  Hi all

  I searched for a while, but I couldn't find any suitable implementation for what I'm trying to do.  A person where I work introduced me to an interesting challenge.  Is there a way to set up a DAQmx task (or set up otherwise an MIO Board) to route an entry directly to an output to the analog analog hardware level?  You may be thinking, "why the hell would you do?  To reduce the electrical complexity, a colleague would like to concurrently read an entry while 'reproduction' of its signal on analog analog output.  I know that I can easily accomplish this while the buffering by the PC, but they are interested in ensuring that the output signal is also similar to the input at the level of KHz signal, by introducing a minimal difference in phase (shift buffering of the PC).

  For the record, we have for most old maps of the E series here like the PCI-6070E (PCI-MIO-16-1).  I was first asked if it could be done through SCXI, but I figured I would start by asking about the MIO tips.

  This looks like a long shot, and I've never heard of someone at - he never did this, but I thought I'd ask to be sure!
