• To pause an excerpt in prelude to stop Media Encoder encoding

  I get nine clips in Media Encoder from the prelude function ingest.  When I type 'K' to stop to set an In point - on a clip in the preview window of the prelude/Ingest, it also stops the Media Encoder.  This slows down the encoding process and if not noticed, could stop him for along period of time.  Is it possible to lock this point, so 'stop' does not work on both applications at the same time?

  Thanks for trying the Prelude workflows and highlighting the problem.

  I got your message, I tried the following:

  • Transcoded clips to ingest as a prelude. SOUL would begin the transcoding.
  • Reopen dialogue to ingest as a prelude.
  • I tried JKL keys on any clip to the previewed image and click on the K button.
  • Observe current transcoding in the SOUL.

  I found no significant difference. Maybe I'm missing something here. Please highlight if I need a few different steps.

  I also checked key hotkeys SOUL and found no shortcut for K -key, so I don't think it should stop transcoding.

  Can you cite the following to give me a better idea on the problem:

  • version of prelude you are working with the help--> on Adobe prelude
  • OS version
  • The problem occurs with only specific file types? If so, can you share these files?
  • This happens all the time or sometimes?

  During this time, do not use K key to the shuttle stop. You can directly use I or keys O to starting with the J/L keys points.

• Premiere Pro CC 2015 full screen Toggle shortcut Ko no longer works

  The tilda key (') hotkey to switch from full-screen no longer works.

  I'm on Mac OSX El Capitan with the latest version of first Pro CC 2015 (9.0.2).

  If I'm in the timeline and you press the tilda key, focus passes to the window the program monitor. If you are either in the source monitor or program monitor windows and you press on ', nothing happens. Tried other keyboard shortcuts for full screen and also nothing happens.

• Qosmio F50 - How can I put the keys Fn and Hotkeys to run on Windows XP?

  Hello.

  I lowered my Qosmio F50-137 to XP, found all the necessary drivers for the hardware recognition, but still looking for Fn keys and keyboard shortcuts work.

  I know (or at least think) that I need to install the "Toshiba Hotkey Utility.

  But this utility requires the "Toshiba common module" for Windows XP must be installed.
  I like the web modules two Commons for Windows XP:
  common_modules_2489A
  and
  common_modules_24895A

  The first says "this software utility does not support this system. Installation will end.
  The other said "the TVALZ driver installation failed."

  I checked the page European driver of Toshiba and found only Vista drivers; 32-bit and 64-bit
  There is no drivers Win XP!

• Hotkey driver Windows 7 - Volume keys 2.23

  I see that there is a new version of the driver v2.23 Hotkey which takes care of Windows 7, but still, it does not solve the problems I have with my T61p.

  I don't get a screen when I press the volume of material to the top or to the bottom of the keys, even if these keys do not work to change the volume in windows. Not a huge deal, but the version latest on Hotkey drivers does not resolve this at all.

  The somewhat larger and the most annoying question is with the mute material, this key will be cutting the audio (not indicator sceen) but do not turn the sound back on. It also seems to turn off the sound outside of windows, which means that the mute icon does not appear in the system tray and using the mute or a volume slider in the windows status bar application did not audio return. The only way to return audio is based on the volume of material up\down keys.

  Found a soloution for this in the display tab found via the advanced settings for the display resolution, there was no font scheme, which makes everything works correctly, particularly by taking the Mute key work.

  I'm on a few forums car, due to a breach of the security of the owner forums (totally independent security password, it turns!) the forums now require a password to 10 characters (at least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 digital and 1 special character). Is there a way I can program a key function or another key with this password? I'm on Mac Pro under El Capitan.

  FWIW, neither my brokerage house, Bank or credit card that I use require a password of this complexity, only the frickin' car forums! It's completely absurd, but that's beside the fact!

  I have a HP laptop - 15-r213ns (ENERGY STAR) with windows 8.1

  Last night, after an update of windows, the shortcut of the brightness (F2 and F3) volume (F7 and F8), wifi (F12) and keys all others have stopped working.  I can always change the brightness and volume using windows, but I can't do more using the keys.

  The function keys are working, as refresh F5 or F3 Browse. I noticed that before I had to press the FN key for this and now she does without the FN + Fx, so I guess that the update of windows must have changed something here.

  They used to work fine before the update. I reinstalled the display drivers (NVIDIA G-FORCE 820 - M) and looked for new drivers or update drivers using HP Support Assistant, but everything is up-to-date.

  I just received a P50 A 144 Satellite with Windows 8.1.

  The keypad has typical F keys with Specialfunctions (mute, Volume, WiFi,...). After unpacking and booting the laptop all the function keys (F1 to F12) worked. After you have installed last as drivers Hard - and Software on the Toshiba Site the function keys no longer work. Only the Volume up and down function still works, while pressing the FN key (normally, this works without pressing the FN key).

  I checked Toshiba's system settings and the keyboard settings haven't changed. They are always on 'Specialfunctions' (so I don't normally have to press the FN key). Relocation of several drivers and the installation of the 'Value added package' (Windows 7) has not helped. I don't know what to do and hope you can help me. The functions are practical and it would be boring, if they no longer work.

  For stone, that I do not understand why you installed anything, if your laptop comes with preinstalled OS 8.1 version and everything worked properly. Don't change anything if there is no reason for this.

  My advice to you is: create a media recovery and after having made this original version of the OS install again. You can do this by using the created disc or HARD drive recovery option.

  Yes, it s possible, just go to start-> programs-> Toshiba-> Utilities-> settings of Flashcards and there you can disable the flashcards.

  I use [command] - and [Ctrl] + on the numeric keypad to zoom text in and out.

  For some reason, [Ctrl] + number pad no longer works. He does, however, work using the number keys at the top of the keyboard.

  This software not did me not where the problem was. But the theory of this software pointed me to the Windows shortcut Commander (http://hkcmdr.anymania.com/index.html). I could find that software natural drive (which was the latest software I have installed the other day) was one that was hijacking the key sequence. Windows Hotkey Commander allows me to disable the special keystroke... well worth the money.
