There is no version of directx on my computer whenever I run dxdiag. Whenever I try to install the latest version of Directx configuration DX of Microsoft, it gives me an error and States in order to check the dxlog. Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.
Method 1:
Download the DirectX from the Microsoft Web site and then try to install it on the system. Click on the link below.
Use DirectX Runtimes (August 2009)
Method 2:
I suggest you try a SFC scan. Follow the steps to perform a scan of the SFC.
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"
5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow , and then press enter
7. a message will appear stating that "the system of scanning will start"
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your XP CD for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.
For more details, see the article mentioned below.

I hope someone can answer my question. I bought a new computer with windows 7 in there and I can not run the original monopoly game in it. I want to play. It's better than the new games they released. can someone help me with this. s * address email is removed from the privacy *.
Hi, amel.
Let's first try the easy solution. ClickStart, type compatibility in the research field, and click the enter key. This will bring up the resolution of the problems of compatibility of programs. Click Next and it make a quick check on your machine. It will ask you to Select the program that you are having problems with, and then click Next. Clicktroubleshoot program, then check the box forthe program worked in earlier versions of Windows... Windows XP (Service Pack 2)-click, then click on Next. Click on the box forstart the program. He will try to open the program as if you were using XP. Once the program is trying to open, click onNext. Now it will ask if it worked for you. If so, click onYes, save these settings for this program. If you clicked Yes, every time that you open the program now he opens as if it was running under XP. That if it worked!
Sometimes this method does not work. For these cases, there is a new feature called XP Mode, which will install a virtual machine before you run your program in. This feature is available in the professional versions, full and Enterprise edition. It is not too hard to get set up. It actually installs a copy of Windows XP before you run your program in. Here's a Microsoft article on how to get it set up: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/. XP mode now works even if you do not have the chip installed for hardware-assisted virtualization technology.
Hope this helps,
Barbara

Look guys, I've been a good customer of yours over many, many years. OK I am a private citizen & not worth millions to you but I've been a good customer of your for many years of mny. I have CS 3 design and can't turn it off because the program won't let me ' cos of a system error. I need help, but I don't get it! Talked with your technical staff who told me that they onl deal with CC matters. I tried to use your tips online and support without success! 24 / / 7 chat support is not available, so I appeal to you directly off my CS 3 Design so I can use all the programs on the Vista platform. As a citizen in my mind, I've spent a lot of money on your please help me here if for no other reason than for moral and ethical reasons over the years. I think that you have a duty of care, you take my money and fail to support me! Best regards, Iain Hirst.

Installation has been apparently successfully, I got a prompt to reboot and says OK. Firefox 17 closed, but there is no restart. Attempts to launch Firefox to icons or start menu get no reaction.
The Firefox.exe in Program Files is the 17.0.1.4715 version. It will not run.
Avast antivirus (but I did a lot of Firefox updates before this installation and no conflict).
on this site, you can choose a download to the location you want: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ (again, it just to install on top of your current version and it will replace it)

I went to open the Hp Solution Center and they say that the software is incomplete and does not work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software 6 - 8 times and also used the disc installion with download of the latest device drivers. The complete when said software loading but will say incomplete when you open it from the desktop. I also ran the Hp disk and scan doctor says that it is working properly. I found the issue when I tried to scan a receipt and couldn't do it because the center woulld solutions does not work. I really don't want not ot spend 2-3 days, trying to get the HP software at work might as well by another printer next time. The cost to try to understand this one is huge.
Hello
The HP Solution Center application isn't only a part of the software of inkjets, is no part of the Laserjet 200 printer.
If you don't have any other HP printer, the HP Solution Center was part of your previous printer, and as there is just no such printer not connected such an error is expected.
For the HP Laserjet 200, click Start > programs > HP > HP Laserjet 200 M276 and launch of HP scanning application, which will allow scanning using your current printer:

I just used my mac. I bought it on January 2014.
A few months ago I couldn't connect to my mac more. There is nothing special on my mac to record.
He was showing the wrong password when I tried to connect to my mac. It is overheating sometimes without help.
So, I brought it to the apple store and they said that the shift key is down and therefore superior letter is all the time. and they could not help me open on the inside. Apple store guys suggested me to display somewhere or send it to the factory.
My question is
(1) what should I do
(2) if I send to the factory or should go to the repair shop.
you guys have an idea what the problem with my mac?
I suggest you send to the factory, or if you have an apple authorized dealer / repair shop to fix the SHIFT key first, then a glance as to why the fan is still running hot.
Maybe something has damaged the keyboard (shift key) area and also the fan internal.
You can't have something special on the computer, but I'd always spend extra money to repair.
The sooner, the better.
If you need take photos or documents off the power the computer have you tried to connect an external keyboard to type your password?

Problems to run defrag. In Windows XP or back tells me c is corrupted and running chkdsk. Running chkdsk does identify a problem, but I can't always run defrag. Tried several times, but no luck. Help welcome!
try using the /r switch when you perform the chkdsk command, it will be bad repairs secotrs and look for readable info:
from the command, type Echo Y | chkdsk C: /r
Restart the computer with the / r switch instead of chkdsk will be 5 steps, it will take a while.

I have a XP box that would only start in safe mode. I needed to repair windows, so I started updating reinstall option but to reboot it says it cannot run in safe mode then it tries to boot into normal mode but crashes - which is what I am tring to solve. Now I'm stuck because the computer is now making a loop and I'm stuck. There is no available recovery console, it shows just the installation restart then goes into the shot. If I try to launch safe mode, that it says cannot run update in safe mode then restarts in normal mode, which hangs then. I'm stuck. Boy the days where I wish I could just make the prompt C:\. Thank you.
You can connect your problematic hard drive to another PC to copy your important data, using a device such as:
http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16812161002
or

I'm still not 100% convinced that you boot from the CD. Your Dell has the option of F12 to select a boot real-time device (as soon as you turn on the PC)? Also, remember that you have to "press any key to boot from the CD" when you see this screen! Of course, during a reboot, you start from the hard drive.
Even if you did everything by the book, a repair installation could easily 'loop' as you describe. But as long as your hardware is healthy, a clean install is done.

Hello
Try this:
- Download Java for Mac OS X 2014-001 http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1572.
- Install the update of Java by using the downloaded .dmg file.
When the installation is complete, a software update dialog box appears. The dialog box says that Java SE 6 Runtime is required to run Adobe Illustrator CS6.
- In the software update dialog box, click install.
- Launch of Illustrator.
In Adobe Illustrator CS6 some plug-ins a dependency on Java, Java is required so that they work correctly.
