  This problem occurs if the Windows Media Player database is corrupted.

  To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

  (a) click Start , click run , type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player , and then click OK.

  (b), select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

  Note  You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

  (c) restart Windows Media Player.

  Note  Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

  In a video project I'm doing for school, I am unable to drag and drop videos and photos on the timeline. If I try to do, it shows a little grey circle crossed out below the slider drag / move. If I select several videos or pictures at once I can drag them very well, but it's obviously very annoying and I don't want to have to do. How to fix this problem?

• Impossible to drag and drop the text Doc grid to repeat

  I created a list of labels that I would drop into a grid of repeating to update simultaneously image within the grid labels, but I can't make it work despite following the same steps as the video tutorial.  I was able to get a group of images to automatically populate the grid but not the text for some reason any.

  The text file is just a plain text file in a vertical list TextEdit.  I click on the grid to repeat so the Green highlight appears, go to the Finder, click on and drag the file of text on the grid but incapable of the drop.  I noticed that when I drag the top of the window XD, Green + does not appear under file, which indicates that it can be added to XD.

  Just as falling a group of pictures in a grid of rehearsal seemed intuitive and is easy to achieve, I thought I'd do the same thing with a text file would be too much but seems to miss something, or there is a bug.

  I think that the file that you drag needs ending in '.txt' for XD as a text file - you can check that?

  If it ends with .txt, resulting in the same text file in a new empty document XD does nothing?  In addition, is the file that is stored on a network share or external hard drive or something unusual like that?

  What happened to the file management in Lightroom? I have tons of experience using Lightroom (since version 1). I just installed version 6 and the library module is no longer will allow me to drag files from one folder to another. In frustration, I quit Lightroom and moved the files of my Finder, but now Lightroom also won't let me show it where the files and folders have been moved. Is this a bug?   Providing detailed information, as this has already been asked will help those of us who are not telepathic to understand exactly what is happening.

  I had the same problem (impossible to drag-and - drop) and it was restored when I disabled the addon "tab mix more.

• I have problems with gmail with firefox. Refreshing page is slow; Drag and drop files in email sometimes do not work.

  My problem is mainly associated with gmail. When I click on return to the Inbox after reading a mail, it takes a good few seconds while in the past, it was always instant.

  My other problem is drag them / move the files as an attachment in gmail. Sometimes it won't work and I have to use the manual icon attaches trombone. However, if I restart firefox and re - connect to gmail, it will work again.

  I also noticed that when you drag an image in the mail window, it will not become an attachment, but it will appear instead. Is there a way where I can choose to have inserted images as attachments rather than displayed in the mail?

  So I decided to try the second option on the plugin check. After I clicked on the link the message says that my version of firefox is not the last. I've updated it and so far I don't have drag and drop the problem but we will give it some time and see. This problem does not occur all the time but it happened a few times, so I guess I should try it for a while.

  Hi limomitch, Firefox will remember the last 'normal' window size by saving in this file you deleted (which Firefox creates new). To switch between the normal and maximized window styles, you usually just double-click the title bar of the window, or you can use the middle (the one between minimize and close) button in the upper right corner.

  If you find that the 'normal' window size has increased too, and if the lower right corner is not visible, you can try Alt + SPACEBAR. It is a convention of Windows on the scale to display the window control menu. If the size is not gray, press arrow down once, then the up arrow key repeatedly until the lower edge of the window is in view. Repeat with the left if necessary and right keys. (If the size is dimmed, choose restore and that might be all you need).

  Note that when it stopped working exactly but all drag and drop functionality work more... images, URLS, tabs... you name it. I was on 16 FF and upgraded to 16.0.2 without help. SafeMode... same behavior. Disable each add-on single and plugin... same thing again. using the default theme.

  What's left to try?

  I am running Windows XP SP3.

  A complete remission to zero of the system got things working again for me. Not ideal, but I'll take it for now.

  Yesterday, I bought the Sansa Fuze and I have problems copying files to the device using either Windows Media Player (Sync) or Drag and Drop (Explorer).

  The symptoms are:

  (1) the device is recognized and available in Windows 7 (Series USB MSC - sorry don't have it with me right now)

  (2) took me to upgrade to the latest firmware, which has worked flawlessly

  (3) when I try to drag and drop a file on the device (I use Windows 7, 64-bit), it starts, but doesn't seem to calculate the size of the files or waiting time to download correctly.  It is followed by a slow progressive, until the computer crashes, resulting in a constant 100% of the CPU.  The only solution is a hard reboot

  (4) when you use Windows WM, the device is recognized, okay and the synchronization starts, but it then stops without reason.  Once again, the processor springs and requires a reboot

  (5) using the results 3 and 4 in 1-5 files being copied across, but not more.

  (6) I tried several albums and one album at a time, but cannot determine if that makes a difference.

  Help, please!

  It may be a bug in Windows 7. But one thing to try is to go to the Device Manager (assuming that Windows 7 still has), uninstall the "rocket" (under USB controllers), and then run add hardware to find and reinstall the driver.

Then tried deactivation and reactivation of hardware acceleration, and it began to work without restart. After the restart with active modules, it continued to work. Weird.
