  I have a Toshiba laptop dual drive, which has been recntly upgrade Vista to Windows 7. Windows 7 has taken over most of my C drive, so I had to put programs on the other disk of data E. The other day I bought AVG Antivirus 2011 on my computer (e data drive). Since then, even after taking off avg, I can't edit Office Word or OpenOffice documents. It seems to do on my external drive (which I added it) as well as of the moment. Its strange since she started as soon as I have used AVG. Any suggestions would be what is the problem? How it can be solved.

  I really need help because my computer seems to be slowly dying! Tried to get in touch with AVG but they seem to simply ignore the problem right now.

  In this case I would contact AVG directly if they can say something about it or if it s a known issue. I've never heard of it but AVG to know what to do now.

  I put t know what laptop you have but I'm pretty sure it s a software problem and it seems to be related to AVG

  I recently installed CS6 (full version, not upgrade) on my computer to Windows 7 Home premium. I worked on a brand new website in Dreamweaver CS6. Now, I want to work on sites that I created with CS4. The sites are not in the list "manage sites" 6. I did some research and found out that I have to export in CS4 before I can open them in CS6. However, now it won't open CS4! I get the following message: the application failed to start properly 0xc015004. So now that I can not open Web sites, I already created for editing. Help!

  Without CS4, you can easily configure your existing sites in CS6, you just FTP and other settings specific to the sites that make up the export of CS4 (none of the real site files are exported). All what you need to do is...

  1. in CS6, go to Site > new Site

  2. give the site a name

  3. for the Local Site folder: Navigate to the local root folder that already exists on your hard drive

  4. configure the FTP information servers

  5. save

  It will take a second for the cache site in CS6, but once it's done, you good to go.

• Acrobat 9 Pro missing after installing CS6

  Installed Acrobat Pro 9 (full version) on Win7 64 bit pc ago about a month everything was working well. Then I installed CS3 last week, everything works still fine. So yesterday I installed CS6 and now my pdf is opened with Acrobat reader. So I went to associate Pro 9 to open my pdf files and Pro 9 is missing.

  I looked on the hard drive and done searches for the executable and the only thing I can find is this folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat 9.0, but it does not contain an exe file. All I see in this directory is two files, a "Acrobat" with plug in folders and a javascript file and the other is a resources folder with files of police and the card inside.

  So the question is re - install Pro 9 at this point?

  AA 9 is automatically uninstalled with CS6, I recall. There may be an option to not uninstall, but most people rush through the Setup process and do read these details and which can happen for you. In any case, you probably need to reinstall AA 9.

  When you upgrade you assign all previous installations... updates install / run independtly of applications that they are upgrading.   It is not necessary to remove the old version when you upgrade to the new versions, but it is best to uninstall them before installing the new version, if you want to uninstall.

  As much as CS4 versions files versus the software improved, Yes, the old files should be able to be opened and edited by the CS6 version, although you will not be able to save the files as CS4 versions if there are changes that you want to keep.

  • Launch Photoshop
  • Go to help > deactivate
  • Choose the option remove permanently
  • Restart Photoshop and enter the serial number of the Design and Web Premium CS6

  I installed my new copy of the CS6 on my new iMac. Later, I realized that I need my original CS4 to run simultaneously on the same mac. When I try to install the original CS4 it rejects two serial numbers - the original CS4 series and the new CS6 serial number. Is it possible to do or should I uninstall CS6 and start over?

  Uninstall CS6, run the Creative Suite cleanup tool, and then reinstall it in good condition - CS4 first, followed the CS6.

  I have a laptop Qosmio X 300, which came with Vista. When I was with Vista, I turned off the tap-click for the touchpad because of its sensitivity.
  Now, I installed Win7 and I can't find the options as before. Does the laptop have a synaptics pointing device and I installed all the drivers from the Web from Toshiba website.
  I looked in the control panel and tried to change the settings of the software synaptics touchpad, but I had no luck.

  Do you have any suggestions? Should I'm looking for a driver for win7 for my touchpad?

  You can disable the touchpad in the mouse properties too.
  Simply click on the disablebutton.

  I bought a Toshiba Satellite A500 with Windows Vista and upgrade to Windows 7. After my installation of Windows 7, I lost all my icons of Toshiba and sounds, as silent image appears so hitting the button mute on the keyboard and the beep on hitting the sound up/down button.

  Before installing, I took a backup of a file from Toshiba and tried to install apps from Toshiba in the TOSHIBA\TOSAPINS folder there. But still not get the default values of the system.

  I assume you mean on the menu that appears with the FN keys

  Usually after installing Win 7, you must reinstall the VAP (value added package) and utility Support Flash Cards in order to get the keys FN working again.
  You can download the two page from Toshiba Europe tools.

  I m not very good if you get the same sound that was available under Vista as Win 7 takes care of the own system alerts/sounds.

  But after the installation of VAP and Flash Cards Support utility, you should see the images that appear with the FN keys.
