  Usually, is not a big problem to install the Toshiba Vista image using the new HARD disk.
  But I've already read in different threads that in the case of much larger hard drives the recovery procedure could not complete successfully.

  In which case you would not be able to complete the Vista installation by using the recovery disk, you can try to install the system using the Microsoft disc. In this case I recommend you take the Win 7 OS. Its much better than Vista OS.

  Hi, I have a portege M800 PPM81C-07602D. It came with windows vista but I reinstalled Windows 7, and now I can't get the bluetooth drivers to install. I tried the old drivers and the new drivers windows vista 7, but when I run the installation I get the message "Please plug in the bluetooth device and click OK."... If I click ok it appears again. I don't know why it wouldn't find the bluetooth internal... I don't think that there is a physical switch to BT anywhere, and I tried to find out if it had been disabled in the bios but nothing in there on this subject... so... I'm out of ideas.

  Toshiba Bluetooth stack can be installed if the BT module is activated correctly use FN + F8 key combination to activate the BT module.
  After making that BT should be recognized and installed correctly (you will have to entered BT in Device Manager).

  None of the solutions provided works.  I wish I could get a screenshot, but it is a computer, I was working on a friend and won't go back for a few days.

  • I tried the things:
  • Download latest version of the driver Windows 8 x 64 absolute of the HP website for the printer in question (color hp laserjet pro m251nw).  Tried the two 'single driver' and «full installation» downloads
  • Tells Windows to use a driver from Windows Update.
  • There is no Citrix based application to uninstall anywhere on the computer.
  • The computer is Windows 'standard' 8 - so using GPEdit to disable "Disallow installation of printer kernel-mode drivers" was not an option (although I used a 3rd party GPEditor to try to change this setting, in any case, nothing is done).
  • I used Advanced Startup to start without driver Signature check.
  • Disabled prevents anti-virus software for to ensure that he was not.

  I use DC 15 piece downloaded since the LWS.  I create an STD with the Customization Wizard and save the transformation to the bootstrapper folder.  I can run successfully using this command on the command line (command line need because we deploy via Dell Kace):

  With previous versions (XI), we have successfully used this string:

  msiexec /i "AcroPro.msi" TRANSFORMS = "AcrobatDC_LWS.mst" / qn "

  It does work on my Windows 10 VM test only the setup.exe method.   Oddly enough, the msi method works when I test it on real hardware locally.

  Any suggestions?  It is not mandatory that make us this work just want to know more about why it works or does not work and why.

  Yes, that worked.  I can't make it work with the MSI.  As someone explained, apparently to do with C++ Redistributable is not installed.

• Impossible to get past screen of Windows 7 Ctrl-Alt-Del (CAD)

  In my work and also outside it, I saw about Windows 7 Desktop 23 who are not able to go beyond the form of Ctl-Alt-Del (CAD). The CAD key, the screen appears as if it is to load the office but rather just becomes black or returns immediately to the CAD screen.   I recently had a collapse of the system that I was finally able to recover using the "Last known good Configuration" option, which seemed to take me only a few minutes after my initial installation of Windows XP.

  Everything is working smooth now, except for a few hiccups as a result of there being installed yet related programs Windows and trying to work I guess XP think should not be in the State they are currently.  I was hoping that through the Windows Update process causes XP then recognize my (updated) the current versions of Windows Media Player, etc., but there is a problem.  Assuming that my logic is good, that my version of Internet Explorer is not a XP expects to interact with.  I have IE 8.  To after my "Add/Remove Programs" list IE is not yet on my system.

  When I try to go to update.microsoft.com and proceed past the home page there are a lot of Flash and then clicking on and then brings back me to the same page with a small bubble in the tab bar that says "this tab has been recovered.  A problem with this webpage had to close and reopen Internet Explorer tab. »

  [The WinXP SP2 disc that came with your computer may be named System Recovery but it has nothing to do with the Windows system restore to not mix youself.]

  912812 predates the availability of both IE8 and IE7 so there is no way that IE8 is installed correctly. So if KB912812 was installed on March 13, 2010, the resumption of 'Last good' known Configuration you did (on or just before March 13, 2010) actually had a repair installation.

  Translation: Since (obviously) not uninstall you IE8 before you've done the repair facility, Windows and IE are now in a situation "confusing." This explains why IE8 is not listed in Add/Remove programs and why you are missing so many updates (including security for IE8 was last updated).

  Your only recourse now is to backup your personal data (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this stage) and then format the HARD drive and do a clean install of Windows.  Please note that another repair facility (upgrade AKA on-site) will not & cannot remedy!
