I am trying to reinstall on windows 8.1 9 gap brand new computer and I get the above message.

Any help?

Concerning

Erich

Hi Enrico1954,

Acrobat 9.0 has not been tested on windows 8. So, I would say to upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat.

If you install Acrobat 9.0 I suggest you must have windows XP or windows 7 with the latest updates of Acrobat.

Kind regards

Ajlan Huda.

    Help, please

    Hello

When you uninstall Google Chrome you also remove the Chrome files that remain when the program is removed?  Verify that no files have been left after uninstalling.  The path to check (with hidden files showing) is:

    C:\Users\\AppData\Local

There you should see a folder with the name Google remove this folder and try to reinstall.  To get hidden files to show the computer open, select organize in the toolbar area.  We see the choice of folder and Search Options.  Click on that.  From there click on the view tab.  There is the option to show hidden files.  This will allow you to find the necessary space to remove the folder.

  • Impossible to install any updates from Windows

I disabled the auto update because I had so many unsuccessful attempts

Often I had to go back to a point files out of the reboot loop (configuration updates stage 3 of 3 0% complete)

Recently ran Windows Update and see it there are 48 important updates that must be installed.  I chose an and he's never finished... just stayed in a suspended all State when trying to install - I've been waiting a long time.

I just purchased TurboTax and installing he says he needed to update/install a windows update - she not too.

  • Impossible to install Acrobat Pro XI on Mac

Hello, I've recently upgraded from Acrobat Pro 9 to XI (Mac version) and failed to install.

When I first installed Acrobat Pro version 9, I was running an earlier version of Mac OS X (I think it's Snow Leopard), but since then have updated my OS periodically and now spin El Capitan 10.11.5. Recently, I bought a license for Acrobat Pro XI and been affected by errors. Before attempting installation, I uninstalled my machine using the uninstall program Adobe version 9.

After the first failure, I found I was able to launch Acrobat Pro, but not all the features worked.

I have ran the Adobe Unistaller, rebooted, tried installing again, had the same fault message and once again found I could launch Acrobat Pro, but did not have all the features

Yet once, I ran Adobe Unistaller, rebooted, this time in the recovery Partition where I ran disk utility and performed first aid on Macintosh HD, as well as on the physical disk. I can't say that that first aid is no. In earlier versions of Mac OS X, disk utility included functions such as the Partition of repair, repair disk permissions, etc., but now all these functions are missing and replaced with a single function called first aid.

After that, I rebooted into OS X, again ran the installer, once again got an installation message failed.

What can I do now? Is there that a saved Setup log file somewhere that I can read and publish? Is there any other information that I can provide to shoot evil?

My computer is a MacBook Pro 13 "mid-2009 with 8 GB of RAM.

    Hi davidb66287241,

I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

You can try to install Acrobat using root user, visit this user account activation link root Mac: activation and using the user 'root' on OS X - Apple support

Also, try to delete this file: /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings.plist and try to install Acrobat XI as a root user.

    Let me know the results.

    Hello

I'm using the first and current public beta version of OS X El Capitan.

I'm experimenting Acrobat DC; However, I can not install on this version of El Capitan: I get "Host_AuthFail".

How can I solve this problem.

    DB

We are aware of the issue with the Acrobat download manager in OS x 10.11 El-Capitan and strive to solve this problem. In the meantime, you can download and install Acrobat DC using direct download links here - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

It is also important to note the comments of Dov that Acrobat officially is not yet supported on OS x 10.11 El-Capitan.

  • Error encountered when installing Acrobat XI on Windows 8

During the installation of Adobe Acrobat XI for Windows 8, I received an error message indicating an error with my PC, the error was sent to Adobe and my computer is restarts. The display is empty and has not restarted automatically. When I started the computer, I noticed there was a shortcut on the desktop for Adobe Standard, but nothing happened when I clicked on the icon. I guess there's just a partial installation. I then tried to continue with the installation of Adobe and received a Windows Installer error: "error application of transformations. Verify that the specified transformations are valid. "I then tried to go to control panel and uninstall Adobe XI. I received the same error to Windows Installer. Don't know what to do at this point.

Please try to run the http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html cleaning tool to remove the partial installation of Acrobat.

  • Asian locale?  Installed Acrobat XI for Windows, but when I try to run the program, it happens in some Asian locales - can not read anything!

    Hello

I am setting up a new laptop and downloaded Acrobat Pro XI for Windows computer.  Download and install seemed to go fine, but when I try to run the program, it is coming in a few other locales (not French_FR).  What should I do to configure the program for the locale in the United States?

(running Setup 3 times (to fix, modify, uninstall/reinstall), but so far nothing has worked.)  Even after uninstalling/reinstalling (where I deselected the local Korean), the program still continues to flow upwards in an alternate reality!

    Help, please!
