The error message happens chronically today.
It does not matter what I try to install the air file.
I uninstalled, cleaned the registry and all the usual things.
And then re-installed-with the same error messages
Windows 7. Current update.
processor 2.8 ghz, 12 G Ram - one machine to cook breakfast and make the beds.
" The application could not be installed because the Installer file is damaged. Try to get a new setup of the author of the application file. "
This is the last log of installation-
I am not able to find out how to decipher what it means.

I got a response on another area of support.
And
Because I asked for help here-
I think it's the kind of thing to do to post the
steps that allowed me to correct.
I knew I had the latest Adobe air platform.
I felt that I knew that the download files were updated.
So-
What was one of the suggestions I've had -
Told to turn off the firewall and antivirus.
Instinct made me disconnect the machine from the router.
I continued and disabled all the protections I had put in place-
and watched as the first program installed air -.
Since before January.
Then put those protections back in line.
And re-attached the router line.
It doesn't seem to work now.

This is the message I get when I try to install the latest version of DPS App Builder "application could not be installed because the Installer file is damaged. Try to get a new setup of the author of the application file. On my Mac.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall
Help, please!
What version of Mac OS do you have? I guess it's 10.6.8 which is not supported by the App Builder. You need to update to a newer version of Mac OS.

Impossible to install Acrobat Pro XI on Mac
Hello, I've recently upgraded from Acrobat Pro 9 to XI (Mac version) and failed to install.
When I first installed Acrobat Pro version 9, I was running an earlier version of Mac OS X (I think it's Snow Leopard), but since then have updated my OS periodically and now spin El Capitan 10.11.5. Recently, I bought a license for Acrobat Pro XI and been affected by errors. Before attempting installation, I uninstalled my machine using the uninstall program Adobe version 9.
After the first failure, I found I was able to launch Acrobat Pro, but not all the features worked.
I have ran the Adobe Unistaller, rebooted, tried installing again, had the same fault message and once again found I could launch Acrobat Pro, but did not have all the features
Yet once, I ran Adobe Unistaller, rebooted, this time in the recovery Partition where I ran disk utility and performed first aid on Macintosh HD, as well as on the physical disk. I can't say that that first aid is no. In earlier versions of Mac OS X, disk utility included functions such as the Partition of repair, repair disk permissions, etc., but now all these functions are missing and replaced with a single function called first aid.
After that, I rebooted into OS X, again ran the installer, once again got an installation message failed.
What can I do now? Is there that a saved Setup log file somewhere that I can read and publish? Is there any other information that I can provide to shoot evil?
My computer is a MacBook Pro 13 "mid-2009 with 8 GB of RAM.
I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
You can try to install Acrobat using root user, visit this user account activation link root Mac: activation and using the user 'root' on OS X - Apple support
Also, try to delete this file: /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.PDFAdminSettings.plist and try to install Acrobat XI as a root user.
Let me know the results.
Thank you

Impossible to install Acrobat Pro XI through CC
Whenever I try to install Acrobat Pro 11 ends after 51% saying "the older version of Acrobat 11 Pro cannot be deleted. Well, there is no earlier version, is to not install this software before, even if I already had Acrobat X on the machine that I uninstalled before. There are remnants of the old installation? If so, how can I get my own PC so XI will install? And: Yes, I already tried installing via "as Administrator" with the same negative results.
In addition, dear Adobe developers, the error message '7' is far from useful ("42" would be more acceptable )
Error codes
- Exit code: 7
- Payload installation MSI failed with the error: 1603
- Payload of third party installer AcroPro.msi failed with exit code: 1603

P. S.: I found the installation of the program itself (acropro.msi) and it started. This is the error it produces:
Please use the Acrobat ( http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html ) cleaning tool to remove all / all the remains of Acrobat on your machine.
To exit Code 7, you can consult the following KB Docs:

Hi Enrico1954,
Acrobat 9.0 has not been tested on windows 8. So, I would say to upgrade to the latest version of Acrobat.

I'm experimenting Acrobat DC; However, I can not install on this version of El Capitan: I get "Host_AuthFail".
How can I solve this problem.

We are aware of the issue with the Acrobat download manager in OS x 10.11 El-Capitan and strive to solve this problem. In the meantime, you can download and install Acrobat DC using direct download links here - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
It is also important to note the comments of Dov that Acrobat officially is not yet supported on OS x 10.11 El-Capitan.
