• Corrupted file... Trying to install my epson Stylus printer 610. Have a LENOVO XP (with currently installed sp3) 32.

  I just sent you a 'response' to my answers... but it came back as undeliverable.  When I accessed the site... I don't see my display problem.  I tried EVERYTHING to get this printer (or any printer to work.  I tried all the basic elements.  Uninstall, reinstall, remove all printers, install updated windows xp3, received all the drivers updated to EPSON.  And now I tried to do what was suggested.

  The USB drives were works very well with my Microsoft Mouse, etc... until I uninstalled all 7 of my USB HOST controller drivers.  See the previous information in my other post.  (I apologize... I've never used this show.

  I worked on this problem REALLY for the more than 40 home... several times.  I even bought a new printer, thinking that there was a problem with the replacement printer.  The printer works fine.  There is a WIN XP driver or another system file that is corrupted.  I walked into the registry in the past... but can't do it without a detailed help, I know what happens if you screw this place.  I can't afford the $150 to take this in to someone I do not trust to fix.

  I know that there is someone out there who can help!  I am familiar with troubleshooting and computers... but I am an old Gal BACK base...

  I appreciate anything anyone can do to help.  Here is my answer to that I tried some tips based on this card.

  I uninstalled all the controllers host USB 7 I had in Device Manager.

   

  After the system restarts, I got the following errors... that I get whenever I try to install my printer:

   

  1. "the software you are installing for this hardware INTEL ICH8 family USB host controller-2830 has NOT passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with windows XP.

   

  second message:

  There is a problem installing the USB controller.  An error occurred during the installation of this device.  Cannot install the drivcer because it is not digitally signed or not signed in the appropriate manner.

   

  To remind you.  This printer was working properly on this computer for several years.  I have a LENOVO T61 running on Windows XP
  32-bit system.  I don't know that somewhere there is a corrupted file...

   

  I'm pretty good at technical things... but there is here a file that is beyond my ability to get to and change on mine.

  Any other suggestions?

  a message about this yesterday.  I got response, but could not answer.

  Here are things I tried.  I've tried everything else.  I am convinced there is a corrupted file, but it's beyond my ability to find and replace.  I could really use help... This printer has worked for more than three years.  The ports worked with other devices until I uninstalled all 7 of my USB HOST controller drivers.  Now my logitec mouse (wireless) no longer works.

• Cannot install the Epson CX4800 printer driver in the new Win7 64-bit system.

  I have a new pc with Win7 64 bit. I downloaded the driver Vista/Win7 64-bit on the Epson site. The Installer-error at the point when you try to install the driver. I checked Device Manager and can see Printing USB support in the USB controllers section. When you view Device Manager, I can unplug the printer USB cable and USB printing support icon goes. When I plug the cable into the printer, the reapperars icon. I can scan documents from the printer to the computer. I can also copy the parts of the printer on the paper. I can't get the driver to install. Windows simply says "driver not installed device software." I run the driver installation program Epson 4 times with no success. Your help is appreciated.

• Impossible to install the software for printer AIO C6250

  Whenever I try to install the software for my printer C6250, I get an error message saying "unable to find a specific file" the file is C:\Users\DrAnth-1\Appdata\Local\Temp\7zS5FBE\setup\... \blocksysus.

  Tony, you updated to Vista? To run the cleaning brush to make sure that we get rid of everything left on the software. Heres how:

  Of the Original installation CD:
  1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup
  2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open
  3 open the Util folder
  4 open the CCC folder
  5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe
  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer
  7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup
  8. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  9 download drivers and full software features

  6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  Just bought a Canon Pixma MG5320 to go with my new Inspiron 2330 Touch all-in-one printer...
  After SEVERAL TRIES, it will not download CD Canon!  Somehow, with the USB printer, it will print BUT I can't analyze;  not the end of the world, but I pay $100 + $ for the 3-in-1 printer and would like to get some use out of it other than the printer option.

  I had the same error: printer in use driver. If you're not... bla... bla...

  My printer is Pixma MG3170

  Here's what I tried and it worked for me:

  1. go to usa.cannon.com and download the respective printer for your printer driver

  2. run

  Note: it takes time for the whole installation to complete, but be patient.

  I can't get windows updates keep giving me. I think I'm up to about 55 so far. I can't get the drivers installed by windows - they install form Epson, but then a pop-up at the bottom of the screen says unable to install the drivers and it cannot recognize my printer. I also tried to download Heimdal and is not yet open. I tried to find WindowsUpdate.log to see what is happening and what I can see is not permitted. I even tried to download - System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 for x 64 based systems (KB947821) [October 2014]

  and who says windows cannot open this file. So I don't have an idea of what has gone wrong with the system and I don't really want to do a clean install as I have so many programs it takes me forever to re - download all programs and find all the codes, etc.

  So is there someone who can solve this problem?

  If so, I would be extremely and eternally grateful.

  Thank you for the update.

  Program installation or removal fails due to corrupted registry or install blocked key. Follow these methods and check if that helps:

  Method 1: Unregister and register the Windows Setup program again

  1. Press Windows key + R, type MSIEXEC /Unregister. and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing is happening.
  2. Press Windows key + R, type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER, and then click OK. Even if you do it right, it may seem that nothing happens, or you can briefly see an hourglass. After you run this command, the operation is complete.

  Method 2: I suggest you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software. The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

  If I understand the question, you run Windows 10 and your printer is not yet working on the new operating system.

  You mean the Epson Stylus Photo R200 Ink Jet printer?
   
  And that you have downloaded and installed not only the Epson Print CD v2.20 utility, but first downloaded and installed the printer driver for the device and rebooted?
   
  If not, or you are unsure, try this:

  1. Unplug the device from the computer (physically).
  2. Uninstall anything and everything that is EPSON concerns.
  3. Turn off the computer.
  4. Connect the device to the computer (physically).
  5. Power on and log in.
  6. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet.
  7. Click on and select devices and printers.
  8. Select Add a printer.
  9. Select Add a local printer or add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.
  10. Choose your printer port.
  11. Click on Windows Update and wait for updating the list of printers. The update may take a few minutes.
  12. Select EPSON as the manufacturer, then scroll through the list of printers and select your printer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the driver installation.
  13. Download (and SAVE) the utility v2.20 Epson Print CD.
  14. Reboot (restart).
  15. Find the saved file "epson14528.exe" and do a right click on it and "Run as Administrator".
  16. Follow the instructions to get installed it.

  You can look up whether or not the printer 'just works' supposed to be Windows 7 via the site "Windows 7 Compatibility Center" - but you will need to enter more information you gave here (Epson LQ is not probably the full model, huh?  These results are here.)

  Now - if your laptop does not have the right port - you're not likely to make it work, but you can find an adapter to go from a port (regardless of the printer needs) to another (regardless of the laptop has - as USB.)  You can then continue with the tips above.
