Impossible to install KB2564958 for XP

I had a problem installing the update above, since 12 October.

Seems to be nothing wrong with my McAfee and nothine appears on Windows defender.

Seems to be much other f with the same problem, anyone find a solution?

Hi JohnDUL,

Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Disable the anti-virus software

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Restart the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

(a) click Start, run.

(b) type msconfigand click OK.

(c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

(d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

(e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx

Method 4: Reset windows update components.

  • Cannot install updates for Windows 7 SP1

    Hello

I tried for awhile now to switch to Windows 10 without luck ( http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-win_upgrade/windows-7-key-not-recognized/9a66ab9a-819a-4285-9461-64e7528db222?tm=1450545430339&auth=1 ). In the end, I decided to reinstall Windows 7 RTM, install all updates and then upgrade to Windows 10.

Unfortunately, I seem to be impossible to install updates for Windows 7 now. Everything was going fine until Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320 installed. After a few mistakes, WU start looking for updates for hours. I've tried everything as suggested here without a bit of luck. In the end, I decided to leave it to search through the night and finally it does find and download updates about 300.

Installation of these updates takes about 4 hours and Windows restarted and tried to configure the new updates, restarted saying once again he could not configure the updates of Windows and it will undo the changes. And it's been like that for over an hour.

So as soon as now I can not even update Windows 7, not to mention the upgrade of Windows 10.  Any ideas? I'm sick of the Windows updates, causing problems.

Installation sometimes loads of updates at a time can cause problems. When you access the list of the 300 updates Windows updates to odd day again, deselect all of them and then choose the oldest (for example) 50 and see if they install on their own.

Sometimes do fall off a long list of updates and try to install more small pieces may help them to install.

Is not sure, but its worth a try as a first shot.

(I know what you mean though issues of update.) It makes you wonder what's going on sometimes :-()

If this does not help, is there required failure account error codes?

Lightroom 5.7.1 is the latest version that is compatible on 32-bit computers.

LR 6 serial number will not work for LR 5.

Lightroom version 5 S/N is the separate serial number.

In this case, you will need to contact the Support from Adobe and to return the product if you do not buy 64-bit computer and see if you can buy 5 LR.

  • Impossible to install some components for target RT

    Hi all

I try to install the software in the target (your desktop) RT via MAX. However, the "NI Application Server Web 2.0" and "Web-based Configuration of NOR and monitoring 2.0" fail to be installed and the former one depends on it. ". I received this message:

"On the Web OR Configuration and monitoring 2.0.0 has core 1.0.6 WIF dependencies

"Based on the Web OR Configuration and monitoring 2.0.0 needs core WIF 5.0.0 dependencies.

So, what should I do? Any suggestions and help is welcome and appreciated.

    Su

P.S. Now I'm not able to deploy a project of RT on target, only to be informed that "LabVIEW: unable to load nisysrpc.dll. In fact I can see the file on the host under the path "CProgram Files / National Instruments/RT Images/system NI API/5.0.0&5.1.0." It seems that the dll cannot be loaded into the target machine. I wonder if it has something to do with the above problem.

I think that your post is victim of a mistake to copy - paste, the message you posted is not possible.

Usually when customers run into situations where impossible to install version X of Y, it is often because they have several versions of LabVIEW RT installed on its host computer and try to install new components in older versions of LabVIEW Real-time.  Can you take screenshots of your error dialog box, or a list of software installed (via a MAX report)?

  • Impossible to install the latest Flash 10.1 for Opera 10.53 player

    Hi all

Having a weird problem installing Flash Player 10.1.53.64. Flash is installed partially, differently from previous versions.

OS: Windows XP SP 3 (32 bit)
    Browser: Opera 10.53
old version of Flash player: 10.0.45.2

I tried to update my Flash Player today because of safety issues. I did as I always do, by doing as follows, after the closure of course all browsers and instant etc. email clients:

    1) download Flash uninstaller "uninstall_flash_player.exe" (md5: D049CF4ECD36EAC817D6D9025B470639) of http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html?promoid=DNRTE and run it when logged in as an administrator. The uninstall program said uninstall has completed successfully. I manually checked that Flash files have been removed from c:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins\ and c:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\ records.

    2) download install Flash for browsers no - IE "install_flash_player.exe" (md5: 6E23EADBA1E84F43E5D28053A8BA27A9) of http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ and run as admin. The installer says installation was successful. I checked the C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\ file and found NPSWF32.dll manually and added FlashUtil10h_Plugin.exe there. Then, I checked the Opera plugin folder c:\Program Files\Opera\program\plugins\ only to discover there was no NPSWF32.dll it. Previous versions of Flash player always installed this file in the folder of the Opera plugin because otherwise it will not work.

    (3) Opera began, went to the adobe.com Flash test page. It did not work. Flash is not installed, video Flash does not work and NPSWF32.dll does not appear in the list of the plugin of the opera.

In short: install Flash installs in the folder system32\Macromed, but not in the browser plugin folder. Any ideas? Is this a bug? Thanks for the help

You can try manually to copy NPSWF32.dll to the Opera plugin folder and see if that solves the problem?

  • Impossible to install the operating system using the product on Satellite 1110 recovery CD

I had to replace my hard drive after the failure, but impossible to install Windows XP Home (Home) from the recovery CD. I followed the instructions on the CD case, but nothing happens, just a cursor flashing at the top left of the screen. If I try to install XP on a disk (which I just can't finish because it is already registered), then the installation begins as it should. A disc of windows 2000 installs also successfully.

I realize that it could be the drive itself, but it does not appear the disk is not bootable. I will be grateful for suggestions.

    Simon

    Hello Simon

Supplied restore CD is bootable. If I remember well, you should have 2 recovery (1/2 and 2/2) CD. It sounds stupid, but you can try to start the procedure of facilities using CD 2/2. A few months ago, I read a topic where a member of the forum has reported on the incorrect labelling of CD.
