  • Help! Impossible to paste in code view or property inspector

Anyone have a solution for this? I'm under Win 8 and DW 12.1 through creative cloud. The research forums, I see that others have reported the same problem. Some have been able to remedy this by deleting the configuration file; It does not solve the problem for me. I would try re-installing DW, but Adobe Application Manager does not seem to allow this.

I started noticing this bug about two weeks ago. Which could at the same time, that I've updated to 12.1. Can anyone help?

    Hi all

I tried to reproduce the problem to copy + paste by installing Google Chrome extensions above in the comments on Win 7 and Win8. But he could not reproduce the problem. On copying content of Chrome and pasting in Dreamweaver, content is get stuck depending on the setting in the preferences-> paste.

Browsing this thread and other threads in the Dreamweaver Forum on this issue, looks that the problem is caused by a conflicting 3rd Party application.

Test was edge Dreamweaver 12.0 12.1 update.

  • Impossible to find a solution of Captivate 1.01

Hey Paris, excuse my English frenchy,

I spent so much time in Adobe Captivate downloads without finding how to get the hotfix build #1418, everything I find is #1292...
I need #1418 because he is said to be the problem of copy/paste, and here's my problem:

When I add a button to a slide, it is then impossible to paste this slide in the same file or in a different file. Instead of paste, the file that contains the button simply closes without warning. I can't find a way to adapt my work to this bug.

Please tell me where to download #1418

I'm sorry, don't waste time with this post. The address that I spent so much time on is precisely the answer to my question, but I just confused the french patch which is 1292 and English which is 1418.

I have two sql scripts. Having just insert statements and the other using bulk insert both do the same thing.

Not really valid for the purposes of comparison.

The fundamental question is what makes in bulk for faster processing. It is a well-known and easily answered--reduction in context switches between SQL and PL/SQL engines. And that's all. Nothing more and nothing magical.

The easiest way to show this difference is to eliminate all other factors - especially I/O as a trial may be at a disadvantage by the physical i/o, while the comparison test can be promoted by e/s logic. Another factor that must be eliminated is extra unnecessary SQL that adds more overhead (such as the use of DOUBLE and unions) and so on.

Remember that it is critical for the reference driver to compare like with like and eliminate all other factors. As simplistic as maybe keep it. For example, something like the following:

    SQL> create table foo_table( id number );

    Table created.

Why an empty table? Eliminates potential problems with the physical versus logical I/O. Why a delete and not Insertstatement? The same reason.

The foregoing shows how slow hard analysis is clear. It has the advantage of soft analysis. It has the advantage of reducing the change of context, at the expense of additional memory - as bench 3 consumes much more memory (PGA) that other points of reference.

Also note that these marks the exact same delete SQL statements - using different approaches. Where the approach only (and not the SQL) made the difference. This means that we can draw valid conclusions on each of these approaches.

Can we say the same thing with the scripts you used to "show" that the treatment bulk is apparently slow?

  • All the editing options appear disabled when you compose the message, impossible to copy & paste, etc they are grayed out in the menu and do not work in a mouse right click

Change options - Undo, redo, copy, paste, paste without formatting work, is that they are shaded out in the Edit menu and do not work on the right click of the mouse. I disabled add ons, run in safe mode, go out and restarted but the problem persists. Can anyone help urgent please.

Mine are greyed out until they can do something. So they're all gray until I have started typing, pasting is grayed if there is nothing on the Clipboard and copy / cut are gray until I have select something.

Yours are always grey, even after doing these other things?

  • Impossible to copy/paste or drag/drop of files. Cannot copy and paste text, either.

The operating system would prohibit me files copy/paste and drag and drop files text copy and paste all of a sudden. No error message; the right operating system does not respond to my 'stick' and 'slide' actions; 'paste' is grayed out in the menu. ('Copy' seems to be black if I remember correctly).

Need to reboot back to normal. A reboot about once a day because of this problem frequently.

P.S. The computer seems to be slower than usual these days. kernal_task and Google Chrome Helper often go beyond 100% of the CPU in the activity monitor. My MBP has a 480 GB SSD (with use of 180 GB).

  • Impossible to copy and paste after the installation of updates

Installed the updates this morning and now unable to copy a Web page and paste it in microsoft works. Can I use another program, but I'm not a happy camper. It tells me that I should not always immediately install new updates due to problems of this kind. I got burned by updates in the past, but it has been awhile. Everyone must wait at least a week or two before you install these updates.

    Hi Edw276

Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems after an update.  In order to help you further, we would require a bit more information.

What you are trying to copy and paste in the works?  What steps do you take to do this?

When you try and copy, the copy function appears if you right click on the selected text?

Do you receive an error message when you try to copy and paste?

You can copy from another application, such as Notepad in the works?

Let know us the answers and we can continue to troubleshoot from there.

  • Impossible to COPY or PASTE in any Application in the home edition of Windows XP - SP2-

Hi - I am running Windows XP HOME EDITION SP2 and had this problem for almost a year without anyone able to help me solve this problem

I am unable to COPY or PASTE in any application (IE, CHROME, MS WORD, NOTEPAD, WORDPAD, etc.)
I ran SFC/scannow several times and still no resolution
My laptop is free of virus and malware... NO VIRUSES, NO MALWARE
What system files or DLLs are associated with being able to COPY / PASTE?
I can CUT but not PASTE
    Thanks - Derek

OK, this is totally weird, I just went to CP - INTERNET OPTIONS - SECURITY TAB, CUSTOM LEVEL and changed "Do drag OR copy and paste files" Enable PROMPT

and now I can copy and paste.
We'll see how long it lasts for
I went there before and changed to ENABLE DISABLE, OUTPUT AND THEN CHANGE BACK to ACTIVATE, and which never helped before
  • Impossible to make the cut and paste it into all programs

Original title: I run Vista on a Viao and lost my cut and paste ability, in all programs, in Word and Internet...  Any ideas of how I can retrieve this function?

    Any thoughts?

    Hello

    1. what exactly happens when you try to copy / paste?
    2. do you receive any error messages?
    3. did you of recent changes on your system prior to this problem?

Method 1: I suggest to try the steps mentioned below and check if it helps to solve the problem.

Step 1: Start the computer using safe mode with networking.

    (a) Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer, and then restart your computer.
    (b) If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the button F8 as your rebooting the computer.
    (c) you need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears.
    (d) if the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.
    (e) in the display Advanced Startup Options, use the arrow keys to select the desired mode safe mode with networking option and press enter.
    (f) log your computer with an user account with administrator rights.

    Reference: http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

Check to see if the problem persists in Mode safe mode with networking. If the problem does not occur in Mode safe mode with Networking if you please try the next step.

Step 2: Try to put your computer in a clean boot state.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow step 7 in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Method 2: Scan your computer anti-virus using the Microsoft Safety Scanner.

Microsoft safety scanner will help us to get rid of software viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Warning: If you run the antivirus program that is infected by the virus scan will get deleted. Therefore, reinstall the program. Also if the files and folders are affected by the virus, while they might even get deleted

Method 3: Try scanner SFC [SFC system] on the computer that would be a system file corrupt on the computer search and replace.

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7:

  • Impossible to copy and paste from/to XP using remote desktop

Due to problems, I have recently reinstalled Vista on my pc.  Before the reinstall, I could access my PC using XP, using remote desktop from work to distance and copy and paste the files from XP and Vista.

Since the reinstallation, I'm not able to copy/paste unless I have turn off UAC.  (I have progbably had turned off before, but he didn't.)  Is there a way to copy and paste them to work without disabling UAC?  Maybe some changes in the policy or registry?

Note: I use Remote Desktop with Clipboard selected for local devices and resources.

    TIA.

    Janis

I saw this thread earlier and it does not apply.  I would say the copy/paste of text works.  I can't copy and paste a file.  UAC seems to be the key here.

I found a work around.   I connect with a local drive.  Since the remote desktop, I can copy files to the local disk, which then I have the file available locally and I can go other directions.  It's a little slow, but it works for now.

  • Impossible to use feature "cut and paste" in Word - grayed out. It can be activated?

No changes, or I've never used to cut or paste before.  Active need to send RESUMES to companies.

You must first select the text you want to cut or copy (by highlighting by scrolling on it with the left mouse held down).  When you do this the cut and copy options should become available (or you can press CTRL-X to cut or CTRL-C to copy).  Then go where you want and place the cursor and paste the text (or use CTRL-V).

If this does not work, then please repost in the Word Forum at: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wordcreate/threads where experts in Word will be happy to help you.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Impossible to cut and paste with the mouse right button

I can't copy / paste with my right mouse button. When I click the right mouse button, nothing happens.

    Hello davi55,

    ·         Is - what the right click does not work with Windows Explorer or other applications such as text processors or Internet Explorer?

    ·         Did you install all the applications recently on your computer that might have caused this problem?

    ·         What kind of mouse you are using on your computer?

    ·         Are you able to cut dough using the keyboard?

You can follow the link below and follow the steps proposed by MalkeleahMVP contextual talks about removing third party menus when right click does not work:
