• Very slow performance with the Web Client vSphere

  I'm testing the vSphere Web Client, but I find it excruciatingly slow - it takes almost 5 minutes just to open a session, and each click after that I take a good load of 30 seconds before the new page is completed. I think I spent a good 10 minutes to total just go to the screen where I could power on a virtual machine, which is something that can been done in less than a minute using the traditional desktop client.

  If the fat thing happens repeatedly... you answered your own question.

  LV won't destroy resources until it closes as part of his routine of cleaning.

  Create tasks and assign resources once when you start and reuse until finished, then destroy them.

  • vmkusage: this tool is still used or available?
  • are the graphics available in the VSphere Client and VCenter modern versions of these?
  • the ESX Server MUI exist anymore?  (referenced in "Comparing the MUI, VirtualCenter and vmkusage")
  • the main square more on performance monitors Appendix A, in the Guide to management of resources?

  (2) vmkusage is back from vcenter 2.5 update 4. It does not appear as performance under vsphere client tab.

  (3) MUI would be replaced as vcenter web app, but there is nothing much to be seen here

  all and all it's graphics performance for the vsphere client and esxtop for performance troubleshooting on my side. There are modern as vcenter operations tools if you are interested.

  I have a few problems with an NI USB-6215 card, I am using. What I do basically generates a pulse of a certain frequency train, and I raise these trains of pulses with a digital input. So far, this works and there are no major problems with it. Now the part that I can't go to work using task Done.vi or wait is up to that Done.vi. I want to know exactly when the generation of these impulses have stopped so I can do some tasks and then trigger them again.

  When I use the task Done.vi is, I never seem to get any real output, who finished the generation of pulses of light. Does anyone know if there are problems known about this, or how I can get a signal to tell me that he stopped the generation of pulses?   I have two functional screw a loop a set of read and write tasks with device 1 (NI USB-6008).  The second loop a set of writing with device 2 (another NI USB-6008) tasks.  2 VI has a massively slower than VI 1 time scale, which means that it must run in a separate loop.  Otherwise, VI 2 was created by copying and modifying 1 VI and variable names actions with him (though not, for example, global variables).  The two screws are meant to run at the same time on the same PC.

  However, if VI 1 is running at the same time as VI 2, any read operations or in writing to 1 VI 1 device are executed - but the VISA read and write operations to a serial device work.  When VI 2, all VI 1 functions work fine.

  Although I configured channels for tasks using the GUI DAQmx, I execute tasks using reading DAQmx write commands and have correctly defined the task 'create' and 'stop the task' live out the beginning and the end of my loop, respectively.

  Does anyone have suggestions for what could be the cause?  My thoughts so far:

  a. maybe it's some conflicts in the names of variables in memory between the two screws?

  b. LabVIEW for some reason any cannot read and write two devices on two separate screws?

  should c. I avoid to use DAQmx to configure these tasks (a sort of memory)?

  I know I can make it work if I have all together in a single massive VI, but for my application, it is much easier and better to do them in two separate screws.

  In case anyone wondered, I found the solution:

  When I copied the original code for a new VI, it turns out that the structures of loop timed in the new VI had the same object name in the delivery structure of LabVIEW as timed in the original VI loop structures.  This prevents effectively regardless of the VI was executed the second execution of the timed loop.  (The serial number read/write suite to work because he was in a different timed loop.)

  I found this error when I ran the VI in execution of highlight mode and noticed that the output of 'error' on the timed loop flashed.  When I plugged it on my error stream, I found error-808, which explains the above problem.

  I have it set by right-clicking on the timed loop, change to a while loop, then change to a timed loop and plug the broken wires.  LabVIEW gave the new timed loop object a new name, and all was well in the universe.

• Impossible to perform a search using a VO after adding a line in OT

  HI guys,.

  I am new to OAF and need your help to solve the current problem that I face.

  We still use JDeveloper 9i (9.0.3.5) and the construction of a custom page for the establishment of a trust hierarchy.

  Background:

  Page has 2 fields of research in region 1, name and organization with of the LOV attached to it. At the same time a region has button to search and clear.

  Below, another region is present which shows the data retrieved via above criteria of search as a table and we also gave a button to add a new line (say add new line).

  We have defined an EO and later a VO based on the same, which is used for this page (from the base of single table).

  Problem:

  When I open a page and search (providing criteria search or search criteria) it returns the correct results. Once I click on the button Add NEW RANK I am able to add a line, and I check back-end. Problem starts after that, I can't make a research post that he keeps on his return / showing same result set that was present on the page after adding a line. I also found that the parameters set by setWhereClauseParam are correct in adding debugging instructions. But once the vo.executeQuery () executed and number of lines returned by vo.getFetchedRowCount is the same as the lines already present on the page (after adding a new line/operation). I've tried passing NULL values to setWhereClauseParam after you perform a commit on the assumption that the VO is not resetting correctly but it did not help.

  Any suggestion for me, experts?
