  You need to update to OS X. The minimum version for DPS running on CS6 is 10.7.

• DPS upgrade error in CS6

  When I open InDesign CS6 today on my iMac, DPS told me that I had to update. I downloaded AdobeDigitalPublishingPatch-CS6 - 30.0.0.dmg and DPSAppBuilder - 3.0.0.r30.16.dmg and ran the two plants. (I have the latest version 4 of Adobe AIR).

  I found the web help page http://helpx.Adobe.com/Digital-Publishing-Suite/KB/error-do-have-compatible-digital.html . The instructions were for CS5 and CS6 instead CS5.5, but I tried what was suggested anyway -

  I left CS6ServiceManager, then installed the new Patch - "update has been successfully installed." I uninstalled DPS App Builder, then reinstalled. The problem remains.

  • Solution 2: rename the file PlugInConfig.txt.

  There was no 'PlugInConfig.txt' to rename in my user preferences. I leave CS6ServiceManager and tried trashing the whole InDesign preferences. The problem remains.

  I can open the DPS App Builder on my desktop OK. I can open the producer of Folio DPS in my browser OK and see online folio, I am currently working on that. But, alas, I can't open the folio within InDesign via the Folio Builder to continue to work on this Panel.

  Looks like there is a problem with your installation of InDesign. Try to reinstall InDesign and then update the DPS Office Tools.
