Impossible to validate with genuine advantage
Cannot be validated with real profit, get I get a blank page. Tried Firefox plugin, tried through IE. Tried the downloadable special thing. Nothing works. Just a blank page, lead to nothing. What's wrong?
I have a XP Professional SP 3, which is new, he got after a hard disk failure, that is why I am now reinstalling. But this thing real profit really bothers me, I'm doing things but just cannot handle.

KB949810 is an option, not the security update. As long as you were able to validate and you do not experience problems installing Office updates, feel free to hide it.
1. stop the automatic updates service:
Start > run > services.msc (enter) > [OK]
Double-click Automatic Updates > click Stop

Start > run > %windir%\SoftwareDistribution (enter) > [OK]
Open the download folder and delete its contents
Close the window.3. go to the Windows Update Web site. Select CUSTOM and allow the analysis to be performed. Uncheck/unselect KB949810 and hide ("don't show me this update").

Impossible to download Virtual PC, tool Genuine Advantage is no longer supported?

I am trying to download Windows Virtual PC on a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and every time I have try and download Virtual PC I need to run the Genuine Advantage program that says "this version of Windows Genuine Advantage validation tool is no longer supported. Pelase download new version and make sure that your system clock is accurate. »I can download other components of Microsoft and using http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/ works very well and wrote its authentic. It seems that Virtual PC uses a deprecated tool so I'm unable to download it. Is there a way past this or another way to download this, it becomes boring.In fact, I found a similar solution, which has solved this problem by changing the end of the url of "exe - validation.aspx? ID = 3702' to ' real - validation.aspx? ID = 3702 "and it worked!

Failed installation of Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB949810)
After many months of Windows & Office updates there is failure of the last update, installation of Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB949810) - OGA notice 2.0.0048.0. Since of attempts by Windows updates to install OGA 2.0.0048.0 reviews all the time, but it fails with one "Installation failed" message in the error log.
I already tried to install notice of OGA 2.0.0048.1.0 by folloing the instruction provided here:

Obsolete Windows Genuine Advantage on the MS Site
When trying to update Windows Media Player 11 on the MS site, I wonder to validate my version of Windows XP using the Windows Genuine Advantage that comes back and tells me that the tool itself is outdated. I then go hunt down the latest version of the Windows Genuine Advantage tool and download it on the spot. I try validation again, but he seeks only on the MS downloads version itself which of course, is outdated to me in an endless loop. Not quite as definitely infinite that the MS Online Chat, but nevertheless, I always have Media Player 11 on my PC.
Please understand this is a problem with not getting to the point of validation of my store bought, legitimate and previously posted a version of Windows XP (with updates to date) - this is the Windows Genuine Advantage, which is obsolete.

Impossible to validate my laptop XP after made the recovery of the PC
I reformatted my HP Pavilion laptop which has XP Home edition SP3, because he had a virus. Now, I can't seem to be able to validate the copy as genuine, even if nothing has changed and I have had this laptop for over 4 years and bought new from the store. It was sealed, so there is no chance that he may have been falsified. I've never had this problem before. I ran the Genuine Advantage Notification tool without result. Whenever I go to check the automatic updates via Security Center, I see a saying option please validate your copy of Windows, but when I try all I get is a blank page with error codes in the URL.
I don't understand why this is happening as I registered my product key with success and thought that this would solve the problem but its still there. I'm worried I will miss out on critical updates for this reason. I have upgraded to Windows Media Player 11 but had it back because of this problem.

How to get Windows Genuine Advantage?
MS has determined that my Windows XP SP3 (bought on eBay in 2009) has a "invalid product code". I work with a clientele of MS for more than 2 weeks without satisfaction; They claim that if I buy Windows Genuine Advantage, I can load a new product Code without having to reload the entire OS. Anyone know the path through this maze (to buy Windows Genuine Advantage)? Is it all a myth that I wonder?

In April 2014, I bought a product key of Windows 7 from a business online apparently good reputation (good reviews when searched online). Windows has a download and product key worked and I have not had a problem until a few weeks when the operating system has started posting messages saying: this copy of Windows is not genuine. Have you tried to restart by phone?
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

It is not your computer or your problem - it is to them (and they have not yet publicly acknowledge it's a problem as far as I know!)

The steps mentioned in the link are:
1. download the updated WGA executable from this link:
http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/Update/v3-19990518/cabpool/WindowsXP-KB892130-enu-x86_7e1189ce89fb0c693cad6432a4c2f982dcea49a0.exe
2. save the file in the C:\Temp folder.
a. Click Start, click run, typecmdand clickok.
b. in the command prompt, type the command following and press enter:
PsExec-i s c:\Temp\
3. restartthe computer for the changes to take effect.
4. visit the windows update site and check if you are able to download the updates.
