How to change the resolution of the screen in Firefox for Android?
Hello
I have a Galaxy Note 3, which is display resolution is 1920 x 1080.
If I go to http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com with Firefox, I see that it shows my screen resolution 640 x 360 (even with the "ask Site Desktop" checked and tiny text size ' ").
I tried with other browsers, and some of them were able to display 1920 x 1080.The question is:
How can I use Firefox for Android in screen resolution of my screen (which is 1920 x 1080) MAXIMUM?Could you try to open this page: http://dev.jeffersonscher.com/resolution.html
The script should show the screen resolution 'effective' as well as the device pixels, which gives the real screen resolution. (The page is not recalculate when you rotate between portrait and model guidelines, so you'll need to manually reload after having done this.)
Note: There may be rounding errors for more extreme values.
Assuming that the device pixels is closer to 3 to 1, you can try to change a hidden parameter to see if it improves things.
Open a new tab and type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press the Enter key on the keyboard. You can bookmark this page for future alterations.
In the search box, type css, and then press the keyboard entry.
When you find layout.css.devPixelsPerPx press the button Edit and change the value 1.0 (in general, you simply remove the sign-). Press the OK button.
Return to the first tab and reload.
Did that change how make real sites do you use?

Upgrade the screen resolution?
Hi all is possible to improve the resolution of the screen on a HP Envy 17 J153CL? And how? Thanks again. Harvey

Yes and no.
In order to have a screen with higher resolution than the one with which it was delivered should change the display and the system board. Which would be beyond the technical abilities of the owner of the mobile medium and may be more expensive that it is worth.
Your question would be more appropriate if it were on a desktop PC. Laptop and computer PC laptop is not made actually to be upgraded because they have a closed architecture, unlike desktop computers.

Having problems with the resolution of the screen from the 1st upgrade.
Hello, I have a tower running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 and upgraded to Service Pack 2 of Windows Vista Business, and he had problems while improving the pc. I lived the degrading resolution and become more pixel and color has begun to degrade. It didn't happen until I updated. and now the upgrade was a success and the resolution of the screen was horrible. Color is distorted, and some icons are not yet. The resolution is 640 x 480 pixels and the color was at its lowest level. I changed the higher color bit and the graphic resolution is improved, but the size of the screen was always the same. I tried to put my monitors resolution which is 1280 x 720 pixels, but when I put it on this resolution, the quality and graphics began to become distorted and never changed size. then, once I applied it, it go back to the lower resolution and color. And I updated my computer during upgrade. Is there anyway that I can fix this?
Thank you!

At first I used the Windows 7 operating system before you download and install the student version of Windows 8 on my ASUS K51AE track. I fully configured my laptop with the new software setting with my own parameters before noticing that everything on the screen seemed very pixelated operation and large, in order to solve the problem, I tried improving the resolution to something higher up on the list but unfortunately I was not given another option to go to. The laptop is locked for the resolution of 1024 x 768 when I used the resolution of 1920 x 1080 front on Windows 7. I'm still not able to click / tap on the option of the current setting of 1024 x 768, I don't know why this is happening? Please ask help?
Hello
You must download and install the latest graphic drivers of Windows 8/8.1 ASUS for your machine, as it has been defined for Windows 7.
If none are available, you will need to upgrade, if you can, your graphics hardware to solve the problem.
Normally, you would have embedded chart that you can not change

PS. Hiroto has a solution too: Hiroto, javascript fix for CSA.
Hello
Here's my javascript which now includes the cloning of pagination in header. The pagination_in_header() of service as well as the relevant rules of style injected by CSSStyleSheet.insertRule () does the job. You can adjust the positioning of the cloned by CSSRule element defined in javascript.

Hi, how can I change the screen resolution?
I keep saying to change the resolution of the screen but don't know how to proceed and would appreciate some advice before doing the wrong thing.
Hello
I don't think there is a problem with Firefox, but I got a peek inside and I think I'm able to help.
The screen resolution is a Windows 8 setting you need to change. I found this walk through (with screenshots) that should help you.
I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look at another solution for you.

When I go from one webpagr to another resolution of the screen going from 32 bit to 8-bit.
Im running windows xp and firefox 32.0 is my browser.my default home page opens and looks very good. then when I go to another Web site, that page going from 32 bits to 8 bits. I opened Control Panel, clicked on display, click settings, click on the area of resolution to set it to 32 bit and then clicked ok, the screen changes to 32 bits, I close the tab setting, close the tab of display properties and close the control panel. then, when I go to another Web page it goes back to 8-bit and looks blurry, and the colors are not good. How can I fix it?
The colors are color change from 32-bit to 8-bit color?
Sometimes, the Windows display is affected by compatibility in your Firefox shortcut settings, the icon you use to start Firefox. If that right click and choose Properties, then click the Compatibility tab, here's where you indicate you want Windows look more primitive when you use Firefox. For best results, uncheck all OPTIONS on this tab (in other words, use all the features of Windows XP).

Unable to set the resolution of the screen for an external monitor
I'm trying to set up an external monitor to Asus to mirror my iMac 27 "new using a HDMI > Lightening connection, but using the monitor preferences, requires both screens at the same resolution. The Asus monitor is smaller, I'm looking for mirror to a proper resolution to the screen (that I can actually read!). From what I gleaned on the web until now, so it should be easy - and now I think it has to do with the HDMI connection on the monitor. Any advice would be much appreciated!

You will need to disable mirroring.

How to choose the screen resolution of 800 x 480 on Libretto 110CT
Hello
I have a 110CT and the options available for the resolution of the screen in Win98 are 640 x 480 and 800 x 600. The screen is 800 x 480 and I wish I could use that as the smaller resolution res is too small and more requires to move the cursor to see the entire screen.
Is it possible to put the screen at 800 x 480 in Win98?
Thank you
ChrisThe screen display resolution depends on the graphics driver.
If a graphics driver supports the resolution of your favorite, then you would be able to choose.
But if the driver doesn't take in charge, then unfortunately you will not be able to choose.Welcome them

Replace the screen for one with a higher resolution on Satellite P850-12Z
Hi all
I read a lot on the internet about the replacement of the screen on computers laptop toshiba and also I saw a video on [how to replace the screen for a Toshiba Satellite P855 | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ncz3ZaI2I-s].
Is it possible to replace the screen for a Toshiba Satellite P850 12Z (original: 15.6"@1366x768) to another screen with a higher resolution (say: 15.6"@1920x1080 or 15.6"@1600x900)?
I'm sure that the graphics card is able to function perfectly with this screen (nVidia GeForce GT630M 2048 MB dedicated) and also I read a lot on laptop screen replacement, and I know that this screen has a connector 40 pin and it is an LED Panel, so I won't have to worry about the ups.
I found several screens (15.6"@1920x1080) who say they are compatible with Toshiba, but I wan't to make sure a higher resolution Panel replacement is possible.
Thank you in advance.
Hello
Exchange of the display is not supported by Toshiba, so I don't think that someone here can help you with this.
I assume that Toshiba offers multiple views for this model of laptop. Only seller is different but resolution 1366 x 768 is always the same as on the original laptop specification. You can try to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. If someone can help you with that service of Toshiba. They have access to the database of Toshiba and can possibly tell if another view is usable on your machine.
All this is quite complicated.

I plugged an external monitor to the laptop and it works,
the laptop screen is full of lines and the 2nd monitor shows what the laptop screen should normally display also

This can be seen also at the change of the Xwindows mode in linux back to tty(1-6)Here are some pictures of this strange behavior:

http://www.ronnylindner.de/extern/images/Toshiba/screen2.jpg
http://www.ronnylindner.de/extern/images/Toshiba/SCREEN3.jpgIt looks like a hardware problem, but would it be just a bad bios setting?
What can I do?
Goodbye and thank you in advance, Ronny

Hello
There may be something wrong with the screen of laptop computers.
I guess that the graphics card is ok because the external screen works properly. But it s very interesting to know if you are using the graphics driver from Toshiba. If this isn't the case, please check if this problem also appears after installation of the graphics driver from the Toshiba driver page.

Unable to save the changes in the resolution of the screen on Satellite P20
Recently, I have problems with the resolution/quality of images on my laptop P20.
When I try to remedy this in the tab settings of Options Diplay it me does not save the changes to the screen resolution or image quality. I am currently using the default monitor on NVIDIA GeFOrce FX Go5200.
Any ideas?
Hello
For all the ideas give us more information please. I just know that the resolution of the standard screen for this laptop is 1440 x 900 and if the right display driver is pre-installed to avoid any problems.
I used Satellite P20-303 (nVIDIA GeForce FX Go5600) nearly two years with the original display driver and have never had any similar problems.
