In application memory using set_cachesize!

set_CacheSize 1 GB

DB_SYSTEM_MEM is used

name of database logic is used

'ipcs m' indicates 1 GB used in shared memory

can I create a memory in app without using set_catchsize?

is it possible to control the size of the cache when running?

set_CacheSize has nothing to do with creating an application in memory or not. It sets the size of the cache ( http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17076_03/html/programmer_reference/general_am_conf.html#am_conf_cachesize ), which is in memory. In order to learn how to create an application in memory, please read: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17076_03/html/programmer_reference/program_ram.html

Yes, using the DB_ENV->set_cachesize(). supplied size will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of the size of the region and cannot be greater than the maximum size that is configured with DB_ENV-> set_cache_max().

DB_ENV->set_cachesize -http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E17076_03/HTML/api_reference/C/envset_cachesize.html

  • recently to message this application memory is exhausted when I use the same applications as always before

iMac running OS 10.9.5, suddenly getting alerts that my application memory is running out / has run out; I use the same applications that I used throughout and never had these alerts. I close all except an application but still get the message. This just started happening.

    HI there are Selia,

Looks like you get this error message concerning the exhaustion of the memory of the application no matter how little you actually run. I would like to start by resetting your PRAM first:

OS X El Capitan: reset PRAM your computer

    https://support.Apple.com/kb/PH21876?locale=en_US

    1. Choose the Apple menu > shut down.

    2. Look for the following keys on the keyboard: Option, command, P and r. you need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.

    3. Turn on your Mac.

    4. Immediately press on and hold down the command-Option-r-P. You must press these keys until the black screen with the Apple logo to appear.

Continue to hold the keys down until you restart your Mac, and you hear the tone of starting for the second time.

    5. Release the keys.

After resetting the PRAM on your computer, you may need to update your speaker volume, screen resolution and startup disk preferences.

Then test the question a bit. If it persists, I would then start mode safe so that the system can check for disk errors and clear a few caches of system level.

You can also use the activity monitor to see if there is a runaway process eating all your memory or put too much pressure on her:

  • Application when using creative Cloud memory problem

I get a problem Application memory on my new Macbook 15 "i7 (with 16 GB of ram) while using the creative cloud (usually Photoshop and Illustrator). When I open on my Mac activity monitor, "Appointment" process name shows at the top like 2 entrances separated as using not less 25,14 GB of memory, making Adobe products to hanging as "Not responding" just below that in the memory of the activity which explains why Creative cloud keeps crashing. Can someone please shed some light on this matter? I have updated to the latest iOS (El Capitan 10.11) and uninstalled and reinstalled all Adobe products on my machine. Any advice on how to avoid this problem are greatly appreciated - thank you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Application memory depletes the Torch 9810, OS 7.1

    Hello

For a few weeks with in a day or two, the free Application reaches 10 MB memory. Rebooting frees memory, but just for a day. I have questions-
    1. is there a way to increase the memory of the Application? Other messages it does not seem possible, but thought I'd ask.
    2. How can I find what is stored in the memory of the App? I have more than 120 MB that says: "Other" in "Application Management" (about 80 MB for app). This 120Mo continues to grow over time. Do not know if I have accidentally stored anythinh here, but not there at - there a way to know what is this 'other '?
    3. is there a tool that can find what app or anything else is causing the memory increase?
    4. is it possible that some app has led to this problem or I recorded a video, etc. to the memory of the App?

I always had more than 100 MB of free space in the memory application in recent weeks. I removed all of the apps I have installed in the past weeks, but nothing helped.

Any help is appreciated... Sorry for the long post, wanted to be more descriptive as possible ;-)

    See you soon,.
    Vikram

You have two questions.  First of all, 65 MB of free space of the Application memory is not much.  Something is to take memory.  Load any new request when it started?  Do you use a card multimedia for pictures and videos?

Second, OS earlier than I posted have problems with the 'leak' free memory down to 0 over a period of time.  At how fast depends on how much is free to start.  I would like to update your operating system with the version in the instructions below:

    1. first download the OS for the 9810 here: https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=BE1DF9A5D08724971F64A511E24FC904

2 make a manual backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. You can get the BlackBerry Desktop Software here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

    3. download the OS from step 1 of the file on the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Also, check the following locations for the vendor.xml file and delete all instances of the file:

On Windows Vista/7, go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research in XML Motion\BlackBerry\Loader (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

On Windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application is In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)

    5. connect the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader.  Follow the prompts to update the operating system to the new version you downloaded.

Once this is done take a look at the free memory space.  What is - what now?

    Hi josh2tyte

Know the memory application available from your device on your home screen to go to Options > device > storage > under the title of storage of applications please check free space =?

If you get this message as you said on your message, try removing some applications options > device > application > locate and remove any unused application or not that you rarely use. It can help improve your memory of the application.

Where can I set preferences for dom.ipc.plugins. *? (I see no plugins or extensions of Tools-Addons that resemble a dom.ipc.plugins?)

    Extensions I have are:

    AddBlock

    Protection of navigation

    Troubleshooter

    YesScript

    PLugins:

    Java

    Shock wave

Could you point me to where in mozilla crash reports that I would find the number of open tabs and memory as being the cause of the accident? (just so I can check after I have try to reset that plugin.exe run to start again I can take a look and see if the memory usage is better - or should I look at the Task Manager for that information also)?

I noted the crush in the report was "EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT", I guess that's a reason for exception error due to many different causes?

I also noticed a report of incidents listed:

    Total virtual memory: 2147352576

    Available virtual memory: 533061632

    System Memory use Percentage: 72

    Available page file: 3324129280

    Physical memory available: 852447232

What is the indication of memory, you see?

Are these 'bad' (high usage) values of memory?

  • Disable applications that use wifi?

Y at - it app, or a quick way to break/disable applications that use the wifi on my MacBook Air OS10.11.4 running?
In other words, is there something that I can use to Dropbox and Google Drive interrupt synchronization, the break of Carbonite and switch Outlook in offline mode? Note that I'm not talking about simply turn off the wifi. These applications continue to check for a wireless connection, even after the wifi is off, using energy unnecessarily.

So I was wondering if there is some kind of a gadget that knows what applications are based on wifi and can put all pause or reactivate them all, instead of me having to remember and do each manually.

    Any ideas anyone?

To be effective you must really be looking for anything that uses the network. The things you mention (Dropbox, Google Drive, Carbonite and Outlook) have no idea if you are on WiFi or not. They are simply looking for a network connection.

There is no apps that do this on an iOS device. And battery doctor causes more problems than it solves.

What problems do you experience that you think you need these applications to solve?

  • [Labview FPGA]: block of memory use Xilinx HDL integration node

    Hello

In my project, I would be developed my own VHDL module and integrated in my project of LV FPGA with a knot of integration.

But for an evolution of my code, I wonder if it is possible to use in my own code VHDL, Xilinx library (as a block of memory).

    Thank you.

You can use any Xilinx IP (or IP and others) in your external code. For example, if you generate a block of memory using block memory generator you can instantiate this IP in your own VHDL.

  • Can we make the components of the Windows kernel (OS) & Windows (OS) more suitable for all platforms, hardware with optimization and minimize emissions & memory use by better algoritm, any possibility?

We know that in mathematics and computer science, an algorithm is a procedure step by step for calculations.

If we follow a regular algoritm to solve the power problem, for example to raise something to a large number of say, calculate something to the power of 1 000 000 000... It will take several hours, so if we use "Indian algorithm" it will solve in seconds.

A faster algorithm is to use the algorithm next (also known as the "Indian algorithm"):

    If n = 0, x ^ n is equal to 1.
    If n = pair, then x ^ n is equivalent to (x ^ (n/2)).
    If n = odd, so x ^ n is equal to x * (x ^ (n-1)).

    For example

    3 ^ 10 = square (3 ^ 5) (= 59049)
    3 ^ 5 = 3 * (3 ^ 4) (= 243)
    3 ^ 4 = square (3 ^ 2) (= 81)
    3 ^ 2 = square (3 ^ 1) (= 9)
    3 ^ 1 = 3 * (3 ^ 0) (= 3)
    3 ^ 0 = 1 (= 1)

Now, there are so many things (algorithms) available for the practical implementation, by which we can reduce serious memory use time, computation time, size of implementation and increased capacity... what operating system, size becomes very low (small size) treatment...
(my letter to MS - RTCProd = 013-744-425' USE of ALGORITHM for DEC/REDUCER THE MEMORY REQUIREMENT OF SPECIFIC PROGRAMS)

Now, what are the means by which we can implement virtually it bone? We offer possible methods. (If it is clear, there is tremendous opportunity again, we just need to know the varying responses that can climb/go out with new ideas)

  • Applications that use msxml do not load or use Windows 7 64-bit environment

What happened several times. I have an installed application (Quickbooks pro 2010) that uses MSXML, and when I installed another application that uses MSXML, it fails to install, or install but does not work properly. (Both applications are supposed to be compatible with Windows 7)

    Is this a known issue?

    Hi Emanders,

You receive an error message when you try to install or run programs?

Who is the other program that fails to install or load?

Access the link below and check if the programs are compatible with Windows 7 64 bit.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

However, you can try to unregister and reregister the MSXML.dll files on your computer and check if you can install and run programs.

Run the command at the elevated command prompt, follow these steps:

    1. open the start menu, click programs principally made, select accessories.
    2. right click on command prompt, and then click "run as administrator".
    3. type the following commands in the DOS prompt window and press ENTER at the end
    of each line:

    REGSVR32 MSXML3. DLL/U
    REGSVR32 MSXML3. DLL
    REGSVR32 MSXML4. DLL/U
    REGSVR32 MSXML4. DLL
    REGSVR32 MSXML6. DLL/U
    REGSVR32 MSXML6. DLL

(At the elevated command prompt command should not give us any error).

You can also open the event viewer and check if there are other important messages/error codes that is generated during installation or execution of the program and after return.

See the link below for more details:

What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)?

  • Windows XP does not allow applications to use the virtual serial (COM) Ports

Operating system: Windows XP Professional version 2002 Service Pack 3

I want to use some applications to control virtual serial (COM) on a device of PEARL IOLAN STS8 D/TruePort ports in Windows XP Professional SP3. When I configure the IOLAN/TruePort I see the COM ports in the Windows Device Manager and I am able to configure my applications to use ports.  However, when applications try to open the serial ports, I get an error saying that the port is already in use or does not exist.

I tried various alternatives to remove/re-add the ports 'in use' in Windows before you configure IOLAN/TruePort and applications. This (sometimes) allows me to use the ports but if the PC is turned off later and rebooted the problem reappears.

Is there a reliable way to create and use virtual COM ports in Windows XP?

  • A lot of memory used after the repair Installation of Windows XP

I recently put a new motherboard in my computer and it took that I re - install Windows XP.  I managed to re - install Windows XP with my previous settings still intact, but I noticed that he had a lot of memory used (~ 20 GB) which has not been used before the installation of my new motherboard.  I checked all the files that I had in 'My Computer', and the total memory was not adding up to what was planned to be used.

During the Windows XP installation process, I chose the option to repair an existing Windows XP, in the hope that it would recover my previous settings.  I could continue until the activation of the installation part and had trouble with it; but was soon fixed.  I thought that if I continued to repair the existing Windows XP that it would remedy the activation part I had problems.  So all I can assume is that additional memory that has been used is from several times, I fixed my existing operating system due to the multiple copies of the same files that were used to repair.
I contemplated I should save my computer, delete the partition, reformat the hard drive and install a fresh Windows XP or find a way to delete the files that take up a lot of place and who fail to find.  With the first option, I'd still have these files 'Phantom' on my backup, which in turn would be always present when I restore my backup the freshly installed Windows XP.
I would like to know if I'm near a possible remedy to this situation, or y at - it another option I don't see who could solve this problem?
