In Vista hom premium when I try to access the windows messages I get the message "the application has requested runtime to stop completely in an unusual way, contact the applications support team"
Try to compact and repair the database of WinMail (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/). Also check for interference from antivirus software (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).

I get this message when I try to use jZip.This application has requested to terminate in an unusual way.. Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Library Program Runtime error: this Program Files (x 86) jZip\jZip.exe
All this under Vista. This all happened after a crash. I can't start jZip or open all files that should be open to jZip.

I've successfully opened all applications installed on my system. This error only DVD Maker.
I have also downloaded and installed or repaired every VC ++ redistributable between 2005 and 2012, the x 86 and x 64.
I always get the error message.

I finally solved this!
The culprit is a virtual CD drive. I have an installed application and allows me to mount a disk image file (.) (ISO) as a virtual drive. When I have a virtual disk mounted, I get error VC ++, but when I eject the virtual disk, so there is no more virtual drives, DVD Maker is happy.

There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
