  Hi, I have a few sql data. And I'm showing them with qlistdatamodel. I used the ListItemProvider and implementing customControl for each line in the sample application cascade cookbook. Which can be found in here. I want to change an image of the line when it is selected. I modified the method 'select' of 'recipeItem.cpp'

  It should have changed the image btn_a.png. But what it does is removes the image and the text remains. Thank you.

  I just found out another of my post that my uri of the image is incorrect. The format of the url I was using was valid only in a Beta SDK. It should be like "asset:///btn_a.png". Now it works perfectly

• Cannot install the sample applications manually

  I'm having a time difficult installation SDK push sample applications on a remote computer. I try a manual install of Tomcat. The machine runs on Linux Red Hat.

  The error I get is:

  It looks like a problem with the JDBC connector, but I do not know how to solve. Among the things that I've done are:

  • Generate the database manually.
  • Fill the PushSDK.properties with the database and JDBC information. Copy this file in each directory WEB-INF/classes of applications examples of
  • Copy the mysql connector jar file in the directory WEB-INF/lib of each application
  • Edit the file app.properties with the information from my BB (app id, base url PGG etc.). Copied in the directory WEB-INF/classes of applications. I did the same thing with suspension - context.xml and app - context.xml
  • Edit conf/server.xml of Tomcat to set the http and https ports and the UTF-8 encoding for the request URL query component. In fact, I have only port 8080 available in the machine and I have configured HTTPS to work.
  • A self-signed certificate and shows its location in the conf/server.xml file. Indicates its location in conf/server.xml
  • Edit bin/catalina.sh to set the JAVA_OPTS UTF-8 encoding

  The initial Tomcat page seem to be working in https://machine_ip:8080.

  But there are errors with the BB apps:

  • https://machine_ip:8080 / sample-push-initiator returns 404
  • https://machine_ip:8080 / pushsdk returns 404
  • https://machine_ip:8080 / debug-Portal opens the Debug Portal, but displays the following message:

  Internal Server Error: 
  
  Sorry, we are unable to properly process your request at this time. Please contact a system administrator to investigate the problem by examining the logs.

  Finally, I could solve this problem. MySQL was not allowing the JDBC connection. I have

  delete the line:

  skip-networking
  

  in MySQL configuration file (/ etc/my.cnf) and now the sample applications seem to work ok.

  I still cannot subscribe to the good customer, but that's another story...

• Cannot compile the sample applications with the native SDK BB10

  I downloaded the BB10 (10.0.4) native SDK and the sample application pack. However, some of the sample apps fail to compile (AudioControl and BelligerentBlocks, for example). The target isn't the playbook (Simulator).

  I get an error do the following:

  Looking at the newspapers of generation, I receive the following linker error:

  Data should be created automatically on the installation of the application using the function to support objects .

  Hi all, I have downloaded and installed the v1.0.0.5 BlackBerry Push Service SDK and tried to install it based on the Quick Start Guide. The first problem was that I couldn't start the Tomcat. After I double-clicked start.bat, I just a blank command window, open for 1-2 seconds and immediately close. I never had the same problem with another application using Tomcat, and can be resolved by using my own installation of Tomcat program. So I do the same thing, I use my own installation of Tomcat program. After that, I get the Tomcat service, but only service non-secure (http), not its secure (https) service. But I think that is not the problem, as long as I can still access it. Then I deploy the sample application (war file: debug-portal, sample-app and pushsdk) to my Tomcat and try to start it. I've got to start the Debug-Portal and pushsdk only, no-sample application. When I tried to start the sample application, I got this message: FAIL - the context path/sample-app Application could not be started, I searched this forum and have had almost similar problem. But those who wrote the display had the problem that all applications could not be started. And he found that it was caused by application_id. He forgot to put the id of the application during installation. I put my application_id (even if it's just false application id, 123456789012345). Can someone help me? How can I install and run the sample application? Thank for any help. PS. • Confusion in the sample application on the client side

There is no mention of App ID, URL of the bps or initiator push URL of the application of this code. I also checked the sample application provided with the SDK of the Push Service.   I have the same warnings qmake... is not found . But finally, after that I could successfully implement the objective of the Simulator, the sample application running, even with this qmake warnings.

• BBui.js sample application on Dev Alpha

  I play with the BBui.js sample application (demo application with all the commands in a menu list) on a Dev Alpha device.

  For some reason, the controls do not meet the touch events correctly. It is clear that the contact is detected because a border appears around the list menuitem when pressed on the issue, but even now the item for several seconds does not usually result in an action.

  The strange thing is that on a few occasions, the item is highlighted to block and then respond to touch and open the corresponding page. But rarely worked, and every time, I can't work what is different.

  Any ideas on why this may not work on the Alpha of Dev, I? Has anyone else had problems of tactility with their apps or samples of the RIM? Or is there a way to adjust the sensitivity on the Dev Alpha?

  It has to do with the resolution of the screen of the alpha of dev, it blends right now with bbUI thinking that a faucet is actually a key and drag.

  I can't find the post where Tim Neil gives a good description of what is happening, but I know he's aware of him and try to sort it out.

  Make sure that you use the latest NDK (10.0.9.1673). You will get these errors with previous versions of NDK.

• Cannot retrieve OBIEE 12 c 12.2.1 - Sample Application version v511

  I downloaded OBIEE 12 c 12.2.1 - Sample Application version v511 from Samples of OBIEE

  Then, I selected the first .zip file and tried to extract the file.

  During extraction, I am getting errror as END OF UNEXPECTED DATA, and it fails with the error CRC failed.

  I followed the same steps that are mentianed in the Description as well as in the video but no luck.

  I thought that maybe the file is corrupted, but I get the same error even after download 4 th time set application example.

  Browsers, download managers, I changed and I reinstalled 7Zip and Winrar to extract but its extraction do not.

  Using WinRAR, I tried to repair the file and I tried to extract but not luck.

  Please help me solve this problem.
