Original title: help - csvhost.exe and problems to start

My sons laptop has problems - try to turn on and it would maintain a black screen for a few seconds and then turned off and turn and repeat until I've done a hard stop.  I am able to navigate to the top after repeated attempts.  I could take a quick and complete hard drive test and it passed... Finally, I restored to factory and spent the last 8 hours going through the update process.  It works fine and restart without problems until recently - I followed the instructions to reboot to perform an update, but he had served in the "shutting down" mode for almost an hour I did a firm hard down.  It took a few attempts so he could begin after that, and when I did I had a message on the svchost.exe and thought that might have something to with him... found a site that has a download that is supposed to fix errors and am curious if that is recommended or whether there is another solution or possible make my misfortunes.  The site is: http://www.exe-error-advisor.com/svchost-exe.  I don't know what's happening - the computer works very well when it turns - to be fair, I did also made an update of "HP Total Care Advisor" who has nothing and after I rebooted I could not make it work... A couple of days, I did a restore of the system at the end of July because the size of everything was off of the big time and had never done a system restore before.  Since I did, everything is returned to the way it was before sizes... and I can receive and send emails... I have JUST CAN NOT open attachments on e-mails.   When I click on the attachment to bring it up, it shuts my computer off and restarts it and when it turns on it says that it has recovered from a serious error.    How can I fix my email so I can set up attachments?

  • Podcast OGG resume problems when the device has been turned off and on again

Even if the rocket + is listed as support AAC, it seems it does not support AAC files over a certain length, otherwise some file size.  (Someone, is it a value of its own thread?)

For this reason, I need to convert some podcasts to another file format before listening.  MediaMonkey standard appears to limit MP3 conversions (but I love the software otherwise) so I thought that I would like to convert it into OGG instead (and OGG seems to have a better rate of compression than MP3 anyway).

I found it by listening to these podcasts I can pause successfully to create a restore point, and when I come back, it takes up very well, as long as the device has not been driven off the coast between the two.  If the unit has cycled and turn it back on, when I come back to try to resume, it tries (he lists even the index of screen time) but then says "no file type supported" and fails to resume.  I tested on my old Fuze and do not have the same problem.

Others experiencing the same thing?  I want to make sure that if it is just a simple bug of Sandisk is aware of this and can provide a fix in a future update.

BTW, I'm using firmware 1.32.00 (latest as of this post).

This seems to have been fixed with the latest firmware.

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • Screen of blackBerry Smartphones will not turn off and kills battery

When I had first the curve 8330 screen turns off after a while and kept my batterylife. Now, the screen never stops and I change not any opportunity to do that and its killing my battery. How to fix this?

Well I just went back to make sure that all my applications have been closed and one was not and the screen has not come back. Thanks for help... im so new to this phone! haha

  • BlackBerry Smartphone screen my BB turns off and restarts and my battery drains

    Hello world!

I really need help. About 4 days ago my BB 8310 started acting very weird.  First of all, it began to consume the battery like crazy and then whenever I played BrickBreaker it erased.  When he returned he said Eception Exception: error in Java Lang.  I have v.0.912 of UberTwitter and had not had a problem until 4 days ago.  Yesterday, I downloaded DeskTop Manager v 5.0 (mine was v. 4.5), deleted BrickBreaker and re-installed, deleted UberTwitter and re-installed but I still have the same error and battery drain.  I have updated my OS to v. 5.4 approximately 9 months, and the device was working beautifully.  A month ago, I downloaded the Application World, but deleted because it has slowed down a bit from my device.

    Issues related to the:

    1. do I have some sort of corrupted file?

    2. If so, do I have to do?  I read here that maybe I should do a wipe, how can I do?

3 What kind of worm or virus?  I say this because I live in the Venezuela and the unit started acting weird at a political event I attended, could my BB were attacked?

I depend on my BB for EVERYTHING and feel at a loss, please help me.

    Thank you in advance,

    Jazzdancer

I've never been compared to God lol! I'm just an average user like you doing my best to help and learn from these forums so

    About the battery drain:

1 make sure that you do not have applications running in the background that are constantly send and receive data unnecessarily

    2. turn off your bluetooth when you are not using it for long periods of time

    3. If you are in a weak signal area (two bars or less) it tends to drain the battery in a meaningful way

4 'reset' the battery meter by draining the phone at 15% and then recharged completely. This must be done on a regular basis just to make sure that the token is correct

5 use the case to put the phone in standby mode (saves battery power) or manually put the phone in standby mode by pressing the mute. There is also an application called Autostandby that can do this automatically for you after x idle time

6 lower the brightness of the screen and reduce the time before he died.

In general, the data more service use and talk to you with the telephone reduces how long the battery will last. The battery performance degrades with time, but I don't know how long it is normally expected to last.

Be sure to charge the battery when possible and never let drain competely. These batteries do not require conditioning as other batteries and batteries load when possible.

If your problems persist, consider buying another battery.

Hope this helps and let us know how it works for you

  • Computer tries to install the update, then turned off and restarts on & on

I was checking e-mail. Vista froze. I turned it off, waited a minute and he turned his back. The display shows "Installing Update 3/3. 0% complete "(ou quelque chose comme ça)." After a moment he said "shuttting down", then restarts on the same screen and stops again, etc.

I tried a beginning of safe mode, safe mode with network, known last good configuration and nothing makes this update screen go away.

To the best of my knowledge, I have NOT interrupted updates at any time.

  • XP freezes at startup then begins after the power is turned off and on again

After a windows session and wait that my computer close, I usually turn the power off to the outlet.

Upon restarting, the computer hangs on startup controls and can be recovered in closing with its power button press again to restart.

    The ideas people?

I guess that if you leave your computer plugged into the wall - IE do not activate deactivate the plug - you do not have these problems?  If you turn off your computer by unplugging from the wall, the computer comes back on the motherboard battery to retain the BIOS settings (and keep the time as well).  These symptoms may be a sign of a low battery or motherboard failure. On the first power cycle, it attempts to recover the BIOS settings, and the second power up then maybe succeed.

    Check your motherboard battery.

    Hello

If Vista is preinstalled on your laptop (HP, Acer, etc.) it is an OEM license and is linked to your laptop and is not transferable.

If you have purchased a retail License vista yourself you can transfer as long as uninstall you Vista on your laptop.

If you do not have a license make detail view you that your new computer manufacturer supply Vista drivers for this otherwise that you're wasting your time trying to boot Vista on it.

    See you soon.
