  I see that you are having problems with printing utilities.  I would like to help.

  I suggest to remove the printer from your printing system, using this document: uninstalling the software of the printer.

  Once you have deleted, I suggest to check and repair disk permissions: function to fix the permissions of all utility disk drive.

  I also run your Apple updates: OS x: Mac App Store apps and OS X update

  After the updates, I recommend reinstalling the HP Deskjet full feature software and drivers - Mac OS X v10.4, v10.5, and v10.6.

  You are able to open the HP scanning software when you perform a search from the Mac?

  You try to scan several pages from the printer to the Mac or from the HP scanning software?

  You should be able to open the HP scanning software and edit everything from there.

  Normally, you can select PDF to scan in a single file multiple documents if that's what you try to do.

  Because this model only has a dish, you must be notified to scan another page.

  If the HP scanning software does not work, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software again.

  Sometimes the print function is grayed out.  When it is not and I click on it I get the error message: there is AN ERROR OPENING YOUR PRINTER. PRINT FUNCTIONS WILL BE UNAVAILABLE UNTIL YOU HAVE SELECTED A PRINTER AND REOPEN ALL DOCUMENTS.  Do not even get an option to select a printer?

  I tried to figure out how to use the capture and the "print" button, or add or what you call. I press it and the whole page of a different color changes, so I try to cut the section I want but I don't know how to send it to the printer. Can someone help me with this.   That happens to me is, I click and drag to make a rectangle of yellow selection, and as soon as I raise my finger on the mouse button, the part I've selected is captured as an image, a new tab opens and preview before printing, the image display. I can use the installation of the Page or simply print. But if I close the preview, this temporary image vanishes and I'm back on the page where I started. You see something different?

  After the Firefox update suddenly goes to the window to print preview by clicking on the print button rather than just print the page.

  Three clicks you can now print a page, rather than one.

  Second, when to close the tab that was printed to focus now goes to the tab to the right of this tab rather than one that was previously active.

  I have Deskjet F2480 printer and I get no response when you press the buttons copy, b & w or color. I just totally updated my drivers and softward version 14 and it did not help. With my other computer and version 13 software, a few months ago the buttons were working. My new laptop is a HP Pavilion Notebook G6. I got the version of the software printer 13 front and the buttons don't work then. I use Windows 7. What can I do to get my copy on the printer buttons to operate?   If you use the print - only - if you want to print a selection. Make your choice, then use the dialog box to print from the keyboard using {Ctrl + P], which without the preview screen print (which is what kills the selection).} The Print range > selection should be available when you use the keyboard command.

  BTW, I filed a bug report about this regression in July for Firefox 30. He was respected, but no action yet by the developers.

  If you click on 'Restore the standard fonts', fonts that are not included in the OS X systems is placed in a "fonts folder (deleted) next to the fonts folder.
