  I imported Helvetica Roman 55 (FTT) in my library, point 14 and called it f-Body Text *. I have all three types of text boxes: static, dynamic, and input. The font size varies from 18 to 14 (most is 14). Anti aliasing is set to "readability." Everything is perfect in the authoring environment. At time of execution that the dynamic and input text seems perfect, but all static text is put in correspondence of the bits.
  
  I tried to adjust the custom anti-alias and used extreme smoothing, text is blurred, as expected in the environment, but bit mapped in the SWF creation.
  
  I tried Arial instead of Helvetica, same results.
  
  I tried to change the static text to dynamic and integrated the characters required only, this has solved the problem and may be a possible work around.

  I'm working on a website and I use individual swf files loading in a clip named 'container' to bring in the content section. The 'container' empty clip is placed and hidden on the main timeline.
  A section with text appears quite bizarre. All text is defined as static.
  This is section 'services' under 'agency', which has a few sub text lines that do not appear when you click on the main points. Also sometimes different texts are affected if you click around and return the text of the ball or the page. It looks fine in Flash, but I'm missing a few lines of text in the browser.

  After experimenting, I came up with a work around: the static texts must be inside a movieclip, then they appear. If they are just on the main timeline, then the syndrome of missing text is displayed.

  As I'm fairly new to AppleScript, I don't know what is and what is not possible. My goal is to have a single script that works for 7 of our branches and about 1,500 people. The idea for the script is:

  1. ask the user some basic questions (like "which office are you?" and "What is your code print?" - already scripted.)

  2 something here to select the appropriate section of the code required for these specific functions. In other words, if user pics office 1 go to any section of the code that corresponds to the office 1 if 2 go 2, etc. - not scripted, I'm used to something like goto, but if I understand well there is no such thing with ACE

  3. based on the information in the point 1, if possible, download a file from the internet (a package) and install it. I guess I should wait or pop to draw their attention to the fact that they would need their password and wait they ended as a dialog box. I know that the password is not scriptable. - not scripted

  4. a procedure (for each location but very similar) script:

  4.1 find if printers have been installed (based on the content of the Printers & Scanners window and printer names). - ongoing

  4.1.1. If so, select and remove.

  4.1.2 if not, continue

  4.2 install printers for this office. - scripted.

  4.3. implement their code printing with a couple of presets - scripted

  Where I am stuck currently is:

  The man.  GoTo went in disgrace for 40 years!  No modern language has goto. GoTo lead unrestricted branching which resulted in convoluted code.  A fluidity in the code is desirable.

  Yes.  I find it easier to type text, and then use the move tool (shortcut V) (looks like an arrow) to place it where you want.

  To bring up the character and paragraph panels go to WINDOW > CHARACTER or WINDOW > PARAGRAPH.

  I don't really know the best way to put it, so I hope that this scenario makes sense.

  Let's say I have a document with a few styles of different characters, and on one page of the document, I decided that I would try something different for a title that has an applied character style - this style is applied to all titles at the same level on the rest of the document. I do not adjust the style of character, however, but simply adjust the setting in shape in the upper character Panel. After playing for awhile, I have decide that I'm really this new setting in shape and want to apply as a result of the document, but now I don't have a character for this style.

  I know that I could just make a new style of form the title I have changed, then go back into the rest of the document and apply it to other styles. However, since this title still has the original style applied (just with overrides), I would like to know if there is a quick way to update the style based on the new formatting?

  With the substituted text still selected (you will see a + next to the character name of the Style in the character Styles Panel), choose the Style to redefine in the character Styles Panel menu.

• With the help of FindChangeList.jsx - can't find text AND character style?

  I have been using the "FindChangeList.jsx" script in CS5 and it works well for what I need, except for one thing: ideally I want to pick up a piece of text with a certain style of applied character. Is it possible to do something like

  I tried the above, but it is basically ignored the character style and found all of the text corresponding to the sentence (unknown what character style has been applied). Any ideas?

  Problem solved-, I made two mistakes. First of all, the style is a paragraph not one style style character, and secondly, it has been grouped into a folder. So I moved out of the folder and changed the code to ' appliedParagraphStyle: ' (and everything worked fine.:).

  I am full of unusual requests lately...

  Here goes...

  I need to be able to highlight a single letter of the text Boolean a button.

  For example if the Boolean text is Select, I would stress the S in Selected. Maybe 'fat' he too.

  I thought about the legend, but if I overlay on top of the switch, it hampers the functionality (obstructing the button).

  There's no place to fit the legend (or label) next to the button itself.

  Hi all!

  We are working on a project and trying to translate in Greek.

  I have tried all the codes of usual character as follows:

  charset=ISO-8859-7" />
  
  

  Unfortunately the game characters are always throw up? (mark points) where certain characters are.

  We have tried and then copy / paste the Greek translated copy of the PowerPoint on our site (coded in php) and hosted on a completely different server and the work of Greek text no problems whats so ever.

  Does have a problem of merger?

  This could be a problem with the host server?

  Please if someone is able to provide even more ideas to try, or a response to help that would be great!
