You can use the Edit > find > find... Menu (Cmd + F) to flush out the plug-in, based on its name. Then, you can see if it falls in the "plug-ins installed:' article or not."

  Also in Ps with a document open, go to filter > other > HSB/HSL to see if the OptionalMultiplugin loaded.
