  I have a question that has been published by someone else several months back and only received no response.  I am trying to install my Windows XP cd Windows backup utility.  After inserting the cd, the instructions say click on leave and navigate to the "CDDrive:\ValueAdd\Mfst\Ntbackup" folder on the cd.  Where can I find this file so I can complete the installation of the backup utility?

  1. You can access your Windows partition with Finder. Simply open a new Finder window in OS X and the access to your Windows partition (often called "BOOTCAMP").
  2. Out of curiosity, what happens if you choose 'Boot EFI'? Note that newer Macs run Windows in EFI mode, so maybe Windows still works.

  Yes, it backs up system files. Check the backup by restoring make a differnet location and check the total number of tally with the source files.

  Click Start, go to run, type this ntbackup

  This will start the backup and the Restore Wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to create your first backup. You can restore the backup files, the wizard as well.
