    Hello

    As you are not sure of what you have removed for cause of your problems, I suggest that do you a system restore to a date before you start deleting these files, and then start carefully again, before to remove any file of dual control.

  • YouTube video not scalling properly on android

    I have YouTube videos in our publication. Seems the right size on ios. but on android it is not bringing scale to fit frame.

    Folio built in Indd. Youtube embed html in setting place.

    Why it would not work on android devices?

    Hi again and sorry for the delay in responding back.

    I could reproduce this on an Android phone, but I managed to test another method (thanks Bob Bringhurst) which seems to offer the best results:

    Create a frame with the video dimensions target, select the image and copy only the URL of the video from embed code and paste it into the URL of the overlays Panel field. Example: http://www.youtube.com/embed/QV1UZ-88HeE?rel=0. In the overlays Panel, select Auto Play.

    When you open the article, you will see a video correctly to scale.

  • Play a Youtube video in an AIR Android app

    Hello;

    I'm trying to display a Youtube video in an Android of the AIR application.

    Usually, I call the Youtube API reader as this (barebones only):

    loader.load (new URLRequest ("http://www.youtube.com/apiplayer?version=3"));

    Player = loader.content;

    player.loadVideoById ("12345678901", 0);

    I don't know why, but this method no longer works.

    Here's what's happening on the ANDROID device (I compiled using AIR v18):

    The video seems to be buffered for a few seconds, then the movieClip holding the Player API becomes transparent, no video is displayed.

    The sound of the video plays well.

    Meanwhile, on the anti-discrimination law, the video shows as it should.

    I use 5 Android, the Youtube video is on the public status and I already tried after uninstalling the Android app (but if it clears the cache?).

    Does anyone has an idea on what's going on?

    Thank you very much!

    Could check you if you have hardwareAccelerated set to true in your application descriptor?

    Also, check if you are using the tag in app descriptor because it can cause problems.

I'm sure that all of you guys have experienced at least once. However, this phenomenon occurs whenever I click on a video. Someone answered my question, saying I should turn off my adobe Accelerator, what I've done. However, youtube videos do not always load and the error message continues to flow upward. I am really frustrated. I've tried everything. Please help me.

  • YouTube videos

    Cannot play the videos sent to me via Gmail.

    I understand that youtube videos do not play by e-mail. Please check the site settings, if you use your google mail in Firefox for Android. There are some features on the mobile site that don't work the way the Desktop site only.

    On the device trying to check [] "Ask Site Desktop" and then long press the youtube link to open it in the application youtube on the device or in the desktop version of youtube.

  • Most of the Youtube videos have an error

    This started a few days ago, I have no idea how it started. Do not start basically very many Youtube videos in Firefox. They work fine in Chrome (although they do seem to load instantly, takes a while to start). Here is a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/z5XP0zU.png

    What I tried:

    Reinstall Firefox
    Reinstall Flash
    Clear the cache of Firefox and Flash
    New profile in Firefox
    Change to HTML5 on Youtube (and disable Flash in the plug-ins)

    The Youtube HTML5 (https://www.youtube.com/html5) page looks like this http://i.imgur.com/KlOSgOR.png. In Chrome, it's all green.

    Help, please.

    I think I've solved the problem. I had to manually delete all versions of Java, as I got and install the most recent. In my view, the self-suppression of older versions in the applet installation did not work, so I had several versions installed at the same time, and I guess that Firefox doesn't like that.

    Basically, all I had to do was go to programs and features, remove everything about Java and download again.

  • Cannot play youtube videos unless on youtube.

    After you have installed the latest version of Flash Player, on the YouTube videos, I try to read the message "an error has occurred. Please try again later. "appears. In addition, on sites like Tumblr other media, such as audio and videos uploaded, play not at all - it's just a white space where it should be. This set works fine in Chrome.
    I have tried everything I can think of - I deleted the cache and deleted cookies, updated all plug-ins, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash and Firefox, disabled Ad-Block, he ran in Safe Mode and navigation private, restarted my laptop a couple of times - but none of this has worked.

  • Firefox 7 won't play YouTube videos

    Running Win7 x 64. Upgrade to Firefox 7, then YouTube videos stopped playing. YouTube keeps insisting that I have to install the latest flash player, what I've done several times ("install_flashplayer10_mssa_aih.exe" and "install_flashplayer11x64_mssa_aih" versions), clear cookies, restart and all that crap. Firefox refuses to play YouTube videos. Internet Explorer 9 (x 64) plays great YouTube videos. Don't use Firefox more. You've got to SUPPORT your application instead of users leaving Wade. It is also why I HATE the upgrade. It causes too often new incompatibilities when I just want to leave what works, the hell alone.

    The Adobe forum, someone suggested

       * go to http://forums.adobe.com/thread/909550 and
             o download the 64-bit uninstaller
             o download the 64-bit installer
       * close all browser windows, then run the downloaded uninstaller
       * restart Windows
       * delete any remaining files in
             o C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
             o C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash
       * now run the downloaded installer

    It still does not work. Then someone else said to install the ActiveX Installer, I found somewhere online.

    THEN finally it worked. But I still don't understand why I have to jump through additional hoops, which are not explained in the first place-YT says I need to upgrade (even if my old machine W2k with FF 3 and Flash 10 works fine), I click on the link on YT taking me to Adobe, I download and install like lead instructions , but it does not work. Why didn't ActiveX installs as well as the installer of Flash if necessary?

  • Unable to show youtube videos

    Failed to load Youtube videos. Am able to view with IE on the same computer. Have uninstalled and reinstalled latest Flash. Don't get not healthy. Only a black screen where the video is supposed to show. Can see the ads and Youtube Web page.

    Responses in this forum have shown different things worked for different people.

    For some compensation YouTube cookies and the cache solves the problem. For more information on how to do that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Deleting+cookies and https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+clear+the+cache

    Others had to go further after deleting cookies from YouTube and block YouTube to save cookies. On the Tools menu, select Options to open the Options window. Go to the Privacy panel and make sure that it is set to "use the custom for history". Click on the Exceptions button, type http://www.youtube.com and click on the block

    Another option is to disable hardware acceleration for Flash. To do this right-click on a Flash video, select settings, go to the first tab of the option enable/disable hardware acceleration for Flash settings. This is something recommended by YouTube for those who have problems - http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py? & answer = 1209379
