• Unread badge count of dock not appearing not

  My MacBook Pro mail does not display the Inbox unread message count on the dock. I put it in the to do in Mail preferences and even changed for all the mailboxes, and it still does not show anything. I tried to find a pref for mail file to delete and restore things, but he was not part easily identifiable in the Preferences folder. It was a problem with Yosemite and is always after upgrade to El Capitan. Any ideas?

  There is no API to access an SMS message in the Inbox.

  You could count SMS that they come in the device, but your account will always be wrong because you can not detedct the deletion of the message.

• Email AOL Inbox count is Incorrect

  So, here's the question:

  I've added an AOL IMAP account to my pre more (Rev of WebOS 1.4.1). It will download all new in my Inbox. I then delete the mail. The meter will not be reset to zero. Because it downloads, it adds just them altogether. I remove the new mail, and the counter is not reset. At the present time, my AOL Inbox is empty, but the Inbox counter displays 32 new messages. Someone knows how to fix this? If there is no simple solution, is there a patch in Preware?

  Well, I found some suggestions from precentral thread. Seems to be a problem on the side of AOL, is not sure.

• Why is my inbox count in gmail, and apple mail different?

  Yesterday, I asked my wife to go to gmail.com and clean my Inbox because I had more than 500 messages there. She joined the gmail.com using my email and password and she cleaned to have only 12 messages.

  

  I didn't know she was done because all day, my apple mail that is related to my gmail has shown the same 500 messages. When I arrived at work this morning, I noticed that he said now 249 messages, so he did, in fact, remove (or archives), some of them. I wonder if those are the only updates that it deleted but not those she archived.

  I see tabs for primary school, social, Promotions, updates in Gmail in your browser. You must disable these. Mail will show all emails in all of these tabs.

  To disable the feature, click on the sign +. You can then deselect each of these tabs.

• Unread email count buggy on Inbox

  I have my Hotmail account has added the application to Mail, and after a week or two, the unread e-mail account is buggy.  Even if I select all emails and mark them as read there is still 1 unread email.  Is there anyway to fix this bug?  I could delete the account and add but I guess that this bug again.

  EDIT: The County tapped unread appears next to Inbox of the account.

  I started having a * before the number of emails not open in some of my inboxes in thunderbird. It isn't really a problem in itself, do not understand why it is in some and not others.

• Why search can't see no 300 + messages in my Inbox. Repair and indexing have been tried.

  I have over 1000 emails to a special e-mail address over the years and I can only find about 400 with global research. I can sort them in the inbox and sent them by name select and count indicates more than 500 for each but does not not in the cntrl + K search.

  As well as the repair and removal of the index to rebuild file, I deleted both .msf files to rebuild also.

  I will also note that I can not find any messages from before 2004. I think that's the main problem.

  There is no operator or. Or 'quoted text' is included. This is the email quoted in an answer, only the new text is indexed.

  So, the question is the query syntax, not the index is my guess. Try Ctrl + Shift + F as a query tool. He does or.

• Inbox displays incorrect account

  I use hotmail. my Inbox and junk mail folders show a number of unread mails, but there is no no read.  Outlook (hotmail) shows no box of unread receipt or unwanted counties when signed to Outlook. Apple devices, iPad, iPhone, iMac, and Mac book pro all show a count of Inbox read and junk, when there is none. WHY? When Apple becomes bindles of and how do I get this problem?   This is probably just a bug, then try to restart the iPad or mail by signing in and out. Also, you should definitely update your iPad.

  I went through a considerable amount of effort to organize my e-mail on iCloud in several folders, some nested, including using filters to Apple to sort my emails in these folders.  I was really surprised to see that the mail iOS app is not able to maintain unread accounts next to these folders.  I think that it is possible to declare as "Inbox", but in addition to the clutter of dozens of them, he "flattens" and resumes the structure unnecessarily. What I want is the the folder tree is as with the counts read next to them.  Parent folders contains the sum of the counts unread subfolders.   If any of you have used 'Claws Mail', you'll know exactly what I mean.

  A second problem with the filters of Apple on the iCloud is that iOS doesn't let you get to iCloud.com via Safari to manage your filters.  You use Chrome or non - iOS to connect to iCloud.com system.   I don't see why this is so.

  Try Mail/preferences/general/Dock unread count and set it to Inbox only.

  Try re-indexing of mailboxes mailbox. This can take some time if you have a lot of mail.

• Small screen of Inbox for email only. Alternate Web page is Fine

  My yahoo mail inbox is super small. I have a full screen, but the view is so mini, that I can't even read it with a glass of magnifiy. Can I visit any other web page, and all are normal. I can use my counter top and my email is normal also. So, it has something to do with the lap top. Is a HP Pavilion G6, Windows 7-64 bit I've owned it for 15 months now.

  I tried a system restore and that didn't help.

  Tried to click on settings in the email, but do not understand what is there and yet once I can view my emails normally on my counter top, is on my lap top it is tiny. Even if I click on an email is too small to read.

  Never had any problems with it at all. Don't know what to do.  Any suggestions?

• BlackBerry Z10 Emails simply disappeared from my Inbox

  I noticed last week that my emails sometimes disappear from my Inbox after I download on my PC at home - didn't happen every time, from time to time (and only the emails of the day).

  I just checked my BB Z10 and all my emails from my Inbox disappeared!  I was at work all day and that you have not downloaded my messages on my PC at home since yesterday so it's not the question.

  Well Yes. There was a lot of recent reports of emails Yahoo endangered devices recently. Yet I have as follows a "first cause", some suspect the OS device while others suspect the Yahoo servers to be the culprit. The good news is that your emails are still safe on Yahoo servers. If it were me, here's what I would try...

  First, remove this e-mail account of your device.

  Then, with a strong support network signal (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1should causes a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message appears on your screen (watch carefully, it can appear and disappear quickly)

  2) restart

  • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.

  Now, reconfigure this e-mail account on your device and see if everything appears again for you. Be patient as a "first synchronization" may take some time (and it varies depending on the size of your mailbox server, the choice you make when you set up the e-mail account, etc.).

  If not the behavior returns, then it could still be caused by server or OS caused. If it's Yahoo-caused, then there is nothing to do but wait. If it's caused BONE, so the first question is what OS you are currently running:
