  You are allowed two installs. You can simply download, install and activate on the new Mac.

  For several years, I was using PPro CS6 until Exchange to CC a few months ago.

  In CS6, I liked the logic/behavior of the shortcut video transition default (for a chassis 20 dissolve in my case) applied via the Ctrl + D keyboard shortcut. Of course, he had to sit the head of reading/CTI above the transition point (i.e. where two elements butted together) in order, but that's all. It didn't matter if you had another clip selected / highlighted anywhere else in your sequence, only when the playback head was. So I could apply default transitions quickly from the keyboard by moving the playback slider to the next transition point in my sequence (via the keyboard up and down arrows) and by applying the shortcut. No mouse participation whatsoever.

  Move forward to the CC body and I just can't get this behavior to work more. Instead, if I have a selected clip elsewhere in my sequence and I hit Ctrl + D my transition by default now is applied to this element, no matter where my reading/CTI head is positioned. To work around this problem I need to click on an empty sequence part (to deselect the last clip), and only then can I ask my default transition where my head is currently positioned between the clips. The big problem here is that it requires catch me the mouse to click on an empty part of the sequence, thus slowing my workflow. Although it may seem petty, it makes a big difference in reality.

  I've lived with this behavior for several months, assuming that there must be a hidden setting to give back me the CS6 behavior. I can't believe that adobe would force without our knowing that he can actually slow things down. Maybe it suits some styles of editing with a head I didn't understand yet, but it is certainly not mine and I hope that there is a "stop" somewhere.

  No, there is no OFF. You will need to get use to it. I like it better then cs6.

  When we were about to buy Photoshop, I downloaded and installed the demo of PS - CS6.  Right at the same time, CC has been launched, and we have subscribed to that instead.  When I open PS, it says CC.  Even if I click on the CS6 icon which is always in my program menu, it opens in the CC.

  Other Adobe products, however, believe that having CS6 only.  I tried to install a new action for CC table and received a warning that said I couldn't go forward because I had not installed CC.  Instead, I installed the version of CS6 table and Adobe Extension Manager is allowed only.  Once I opened PS, however, the new action table is not installed.

  Thus, it is not possible for me running CS6 on my machine and CC works perfectly, but the extensions Manager think I don't have CS6 on my machine.

  check your directory program files adobe > first pro cs6 > first pro.exe file.

  (restart the cc app will probably also work.)

  It seems that you have the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application installed somehow.

  Please uninstall the Adobe creative cloud app and all the Adobe apps that might be installed on your computer.

  Run the CC cleaning tool to clean things: use the cleaning tool CC to solve installation problemsand then restart. Then, please reinstall your CS6 and enter your serial number.

  Those are two separate monthly subscriptions for individual applications allowing you to cancel at any time. It is the most expensive but the most flexible way of the subscription.
