  I recently replaced XP with Win2000 on my Toshiba Portege 4000. I also downloaded the latest drivers from the Toshiba site, using pref to Win2000 and Portege 4000.

  When you start the Bluetooth Stack V4.00.30 he wiped out the wireless LAN feature. I know that it is not possible to use Bluetooth and wireless at the same time.

  However, it is a permanent disability. During the uninstallation of the Bluetooth stack V4.00.30, wireless comes back to life.
  Is there someone who has a fix to this problem?

• Differences in transition in default shortcut behavior between CS6 and CC

  For several years, I was using PPro CS6 until Exchange to CC a few months ago.

  In CS6, I liked the logic/behavior of the shortcut video transition default (for a chassis 20 dissolve in my case) applied via the Ctrl + D keyboard shortcut. Of course, he had to sit the head of reading/CTI above the transition point (i.e. where two elements butted together) in order, but that's all. It didn't matter if you had another clip selected / highlighted anywhere else in your sequence, only when the playback head was. So I could apply default transitions quickly from the keyboard by moving the playback slider to the next transition point in my sequence (via the keyboard up and down arrows) and by applying the shortcut. No mouse participation whatsoever.

  Move forward to the CC body and I just can't get this behavior to work more. Instead, if I have a selected clip elsewhere in my sequence and I hit Ctrl + D my transition by default now is applied to this element, no matter where my reading/CTI head is positioned. To work around this problem I need to click on an empty sequence part (to deselect the last clip), and only then can I ask my default transition where my head is currently positioned between the clips. The big problem here is that it requires catch me the mouse to click on an empty part of the sequence, thus slowing my workflow. Although it may seem petty, it makes a big difference in reality.

  I've lived with this behavior for several months, assuming that there must be a hidden setting to give back me the CS6 behavior. I can't believe that adobe would force without our knowing that he can actually slow things down. Maybe it suits some styles of editing with a head I didn't understand yet, but it is certainly not mine and I hope that there is a "stop" somewhere.

  No, there is no OFF. You will need to get use to it. I like it better then cs6.

• Conflict between WXP and Installation CD of BT USB stick

  I admit it - I'm a bit slow with some of these new gadgets but that's...
  I recently bought a Bluetooth Dongle, which describes itself as a "TOSHIBA BLUETOOTH STACK FOR APACHE BY CSR.
  Installation instructions say not to connect the dongle until the software is installed, however in the middle of the installation you must plug the dongle into a USB port.

  The installation continues, but XP decides that it has detected new hardware and tries to install it, is so all I get error messages when I try to put in place. I then "uninstalled" and let XP its own thing. It is detected as a generic and same dongle if he recognizes a mobile telephone and allows the two match - I can't transmit data between the two. They just do not connect? Should I install the correct software on top? Ideas / advice please.

  Please do not install the original Toshiba Bluetooth stack, because it's for Toshiba Bluetooth hardware only.
  Remove all batteries-BT out of your system. Install the BT stack, that came with your USB BT adapter. Don't care
  Windows XP Home edition. Your BT stack will install on top. Your BT-stack is very probably an OEM version of the Toshiba BT - stack, so it should behave very similar. So advises on the following Web page should also be suitable for you:

  Make sure that you have a good processor and 4 GB of RAM preference if you install Win 7.  If you reformat / reinstall the OS which should also remove the malware.

• The conflict between UnicodeString and FilePath linker

  I am trying to include ai::FilePath in my project using its two files "IAIFilePath.cpp" and "AIFilePath.h"; However, it seems to be a contradictory function, each defined by check_result (AIErr) Sub which is defined in both static, so I get linker errors.

  Very strange. Sound does not complain about AIFilePath.h, he complains about IAIUnicodeString.cpp, which DOES not define check_result (line 54). Although both are static, so why would they be in conflict I have no idea. Two functions with the same name shouldn't matter as long as they are both static. Heck, if even one is static, it shouldn't happen. I'm trying to reproduce this error here and I can't.

  And this is a mistake of the linker? C2084 is a compiler error, not linker error. C2084 is the error that you specified, but I can't actually get a compile error, no matter what I do; If I get the 'static' at the same time I get "LNK1169: one or more multiply defined symbols found. From the looks of the aid, the only way to get C2084 is actually set the function in the CPP even twice.

  I noticed erratic behavior after the creation of a hyperlink text in a textframe. Although the link seemed ok when previewing (both in Muse preview mode, as in a browser (Chrome) Preview), she had abruptly changed his State when I was about to click on it. • Is there a conflict between IE8 and Flash when updating?

  I have Flash Player 10.0.22.87, Internet Explorer 8 and Windows XP sp3. When I try to update Flash 10.0.32.18, I get an error message: the instruction at "0x130a0068" referenced memory at "0x130z0068". The memory could not be "written". (I notice that the two numbers are the same). Clicking on Debug does not help. I'm unable to click on the message at the top of the screen to make IE allow the add-on. Some games are not displayed correctly since I updated to IE8, which is why I thought that a Flash update is necessary. Any advice would be welcome.
