Incompatibility of the IOM database data

Hi *.

I import any newly created in our live system resource... It returns an error and complete import...
Later I found that our IOM database has reached its maximum allowed size...

But now there are incompatibilities in data...

UD_XXX table is created on the basis of the IOM. But he does not appear in the Form Designer on OIM Design Console form...

Next, I created the new form, "UD_YYY" on the form designer in the OIM Design console... But, when I connect to databases and see, table 'UD_YYY' is not created on IOM DB... But, it is displayed on the console Design...

I run the following script to increase the limit max db...

ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE ' < path > XELTBS_01.DBF ' AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 50 M MAXSIZE 5120 M;

Now, how can I sync the IOM tables...?
Is it ok, if I manually delete these tables? and in which table is the custom info table (i.e. Oud_ *) is maintained? Is it ok, if I delete these entry manually?

Help...

Kind regards
Chaturanga

Why do not you re - import your xmls, give new versions for the forms of process...

Thank you

  • A full import by using datapump will overwrite the target database data dictionary?

    Hello

I have a 11G with 127 GB database. I did a full export using expdp as a user of the system. I'll import the created dump file (which is 33 GB) on the basis of data from 12 c target.

When I do the full import on the 12 c database data dictionary is updated with new data. But as is it already contained data dictionary? It will also change?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

In addition to the responses of the other comrades

To start, you need to know some basic things:

The dictionary database tables are owned by SYS and must of these tables is created when the database is created.

Thus, in the different versions of database Oracle there could be less or more data dictionary tables of different structure database,.

so if this SYSTEM base tables are exported and imported between different versions of oracle, could damage the features of database

because the tables do not correspond with the version of database.

    See the Ref:

SYS, owner of the data dictionary

Database Oracle SYS user is owner of all the base tables and a view of the data available to the user dictionary. No Oracle database user should never change (UPDATE, DELETE, or INSERT) ranks or schema objects contained in the SYS schema, because this activity can compromise the integrity of the data. Security administrator must keep strict control of this central account.

    Source: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28318/datadict.htm

Prosecutor, the utilities for export cannot export the dictionary SYS base tables and is marked

as a note in the documentation:

    Data Pump export Modes

    Note:

Several patterns of system cannot be exported because they are not user patterns; they contain metadata and data managed by Oracle. Examples of system schemas that are not exported MDSYS SYS and ORDSYS.

    Source: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e22490/dp_export.htm#SUTIL826

That's why import cannot modify/alter/drop/create dictionary database tables. If you can not export, so you can not import.

Import just to add new Non - SYS objects/data in the database, therefore new data are added to the dictionary base tables (as new users, new tables, code pl/sql etc).

I hope that this might answer your question.

    Kind regards

I try to import in the same relational model, a production and a development Oracle database in two different physical models.  I select only users, roles and Tablespaces, no other database items.  When I click on finish, I get an error with a big red x box and nothing else.  These are the only entered in the journal (datamodeler.log) for today.  What I am doing wrong?

  • Incompatibility of the use of data store

    Hi all

I have a Lab Manager installation with about 2 TB of data warehouses is attributed to the. Comparing the use of the disc between du-sh and view on the use of the data store through the Lab Manager user interface, I see two completely different characters. I don't know what is to consume all of my space. Cleaning of garbage is the default value of 120 seconds.

    du-HS exit

    865G datastore_14/labmanhost

    259G datastore_19/labmanhost

    396G datastore_20/labmanhost

That's what I see in the GUI. Show 103 VM remaining to use 0 MB.

To scramble even more, if I look at my models some show that the use of 0 MB, but these have a 20 GB drive (and even more so because of the length of the chain caused by changing the template after the initial release it).

Can someone explain what is consuming my drive?

    Thank you

Then use the 'View Datastore use' page, press the button "Refresh disk space" at the top of this page.  Virtual machines with the length of the string of 0 indicate that you probably did not recently.

As you probably know, Lab Manager stores its virtual machines as linked clones.  Each virtual machine is based on several VMDK which are dependent on each other, and multiple virtual machines can share nodes. Lab Manager cleans up the tree, the removal of nodes, it can through an asynchronous garbage collection process.  Any node with dependencies is not removed until these dependencies are removed.

The column that you are using is 'Disk space after deletion', not space total disk used by this node.  Values are often zero because if a node a VM dependent, it is not cleaned when its deleted memory.  He doesn't want not to say that it does no disk space - sound suffice it to say that you will free all disk space if you delete it.

For a better visibility of these dependencies, the mouse in the virtual machine and choose 'background '.  This will display the chain dependent records graphically, and as you mouse over nodes, you will see some information about them such as their size.  Note that not all nodes are "visible" in the application (except in this context point of view).  Only virtual machines with borders "BOLD" from this point of view can be displayed in Lab Manager (in the space to work, a configuration library or library templates).

  • Use the java connector for the connector database?

    Hello

I'm running on IOM 11gr2ps2 and need to use the database connector.  We installed the .net connector server to operate with the connector AD.

The Oracle of https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E22999_01/doc.111/e20277.pdf documentation gives us an option to either install a java connector server to work with the database connector or install the IOM database connector without using a java connector server.

The documentation says "execution of a connector on the connector server.

allows to transmit queries put in service and reconciliation through the firewall in a

as defined by the connector server.

As I already have a connector server .net for AD, I would lean towards the installation of the java connector server.  In this way architecture remains consistent.

    Please, share your ideas.

    Thank you

    Khanh

Table of database connector uses the Java Connector server, or it can be deployed directly in the container of the IOM.  If you have problems jar or different library due to database formats, you can use the connector server to isolate libraries and do not have to figure out how to make IOM in collaboration with several libraries.  It can also take some of the load on your server to IOM for the transformation.  I suggest to use the server connector for the isolation of the newspaper as well.

  • GoldenGate to replicate physical of the standby database

    Friends,

I don't have an answer instead of data guard

Could we use oracle Portal gold to replicate a physical custody ensures data in a new logical basis?

Or we need to replicate keeps the primary database data in a new logical basis?

    Thank you

    newdba

Use the extract parameter TRANLOGOPTIONS with the ARCHIVEDLOGONLY option. This

force option extracts for ALO mode against a primary or logical standby

database, as determined by the PRIMARY or STANDBY LOGIC value in the db_role

column in the view v$ database. The default is to read newspapers online.

TRANLOGOPTIONS with ARCHIVEDLOGONLY is not necessary if you use the ALO mode against a

standby database physical, as determined by the PHYSICAL INTELLIGENCE value to the

db_role column of v database $. Extract works automatically in ALO mode if it

detects that the database is a physical standby.

    I found the solution!

I was going through this blog: OIM 11 g: error after startup server IOM: retrieve the connection at the base

In the last comment by Amit, he mentioned that the settings IOM - config.xml must be changed.

So I discovered that IOM-config file. XML from my environment, under directDBConfigParams, url (jdbc thin driver) was wrong because of cloning.

In addition, OIMFrontEndURL, RMI and SOAP URL were wrong.

I corrected the and guess what... each utility works...

However, you don't have to import/export the config of MDS file... you can change these details in the following MBEANs

    1 DirectDB

    2. the discovery

    3 SOAConfig

    > Reboot the server of the IOM.

I knew this jdbc driver was not, but did not know where to set it up.

I have listed the error in my last comment, so that if anyone has this problem, the text of this presentation would help.

    Thank you.

  • data relating to the transport of the old database to new

I created a new empty database in access, how to transfer all of my information from the old to the new? The new database contains different fields and queries - will this matter! I have information do not need but that you NEED all contacts.

You can either import it into your database name directly in the appropriate table OR you can bring to the table and then run ADD or UPDATE to place the data from the old to the new tables, the queries tables...

You will have is only if the data in your tables are distributed on several tables.  This will require a little bit more work through queries, but it would be still achieved as indicated in the first paragraph.

  • Firmware of the IOM on switch m6348 failed, incompatibility of fabric

Update the firmware of the IOM 2 of the 4 m6348 failed to update and report incompatibility of fabric.  I tried the update process again and put back them in place.  They don't have the same power on in the Cabinet to access the console, is it possible to recover?

The problem was caused because if you link the internal chassis interrrupteurs CMC, updated the firmware on the causes of MCC switches in the chassis of the cycle power and corrupt the update. (this is a trap that should not exist tbh)

Avoid this problem by connecting the CMC directly or via an external switch during firmware updates.

The firmware on switches is corrupt, I think that it should be possible to reflash the chips directly however this would require electronic expertise.  In our case, the seller has replaced the switches under warranty and we were able to update those successfully.

    Hi guys.

    I have following scenario

-i have a backup game compressed a database in NOARCHIVELOG mode.

The target and duplicate database cannot have the same ID duplicate so is not what you need. If you have FOO database on a server and want to copy to FOO on server B, with a different file structure, then simply copy the RMAN backupsets to Server B, and restore the database by renaming the data files. There are many examples on the web.

  • Is it possible to recover a database with the copy of data files (cp), while the database has been opened?

    Hello

We know we need to do a backup of an oracle database by using the appropriate tool, in most cases the rman. But we have in our society, a person who helps us with the backup of all the databases oracle we have. Thus, in addition to the rman backups, we do a copy (cp) with the open database of all files in oracle database, (without start backup) including of course spfile, controlfile, etc.. My question is: can recover us my database using this copied data files? or are we just wasting disk space on our backup environment?

    Kind regards
    Melo.

We're doing a copy (cp) with the open database of all files in oracle database, (without start backup) including of course spfile, controlfile, etc..

As EdStevens said, it's essentially a backup without value. When you copy files from a backup ' hot', there may be inconsistencies in the blocks of the file as transactions actively edit these blocks while the copy is made. Mechanism of Oracle backups hot managed by users is to put the database or tablespace in backup mode, copy the files, and then the end backup mode. Without this mechanism, the chances of being able to restore from this backup are very, very thin.

My question is: can recover us my database using this copied data files?

My question is... have you tested recovery? If the recovery has been piloted, then called the answer to this question. Please read the end of this blog post for more information:

Blog of Peasland before necessary recovery database backups"
