Integration of youtube videos

I am currently building an html5 for BB10 with jquery application. I have an old processor intel from my pc that does not support virtualization technology to run the BB10 Dev Alpha device simulation.

So I don't know if a video from youtube directly integrated in a Web page (with the embed code directly from youtube) into the application will work or not. Can anyone confirm that?

Thank you

It's ok, YouTube videos will get incorporated properly, make sure you use the right width for the video, then the player out of the screen and breaks the layout.

I suggest you to take a look at the ripple for a specific semi 'simulation '.

I am currently using DW CS4 and try to integrate videos from YouTube. I insert the html code of YT and return to the Drawing Page. All seems well until I have switch to Live View. DW white and shows a Sharing Violation and then crashes completely. The same thing happens when the page is displayed in any browser. Any help would be greatly appreciated that this has not happened before and vidoes YT already integrated functions normally. Thanks much for any help you can offer.

I'm sorry, maybe, answered my own question. I did dig a little on the forum (which I should have done in the first place!) and found someone with a similar problem. It seems that YouTube declined the 'html code' of their embed code, just starting by ' / /'. I changed my embed code, adding "html code" and all is well. It's a relief. A big thank you to those who have been scratching heads theoir in my name.

  • Integration of YouTube videos (CS6 / AS3)

Hi people, I'm trying to create an interactive swf, in which a user can flit between frames, three of sheltering three different videos. Usually, I would do it just convert the FLV, download videos, then by importing the url in Flash - very simple.

However the client this time only gave me videos that have already been uploaded in YouTube, so I can't access it locally. I did this once before using AS2 and it was pretty painless, but given that YouTube changed their policies, the code that I used at the time no longer works and I had to reuse the ad for AS3. I'm not very well when it comes to actionscript; most of the things I get to do I usually just work them as I get them, but for this I was digging around for the better part of two days now, and I can't for the life of me find a clear answer on how to do it.

All I need to know is exactly what AS3 code to use, and where exactly, I'm supposed to put it. For example, create a movieclip first and then put the code inside? Or should I create an instance and then referencing in some code on it? Most sons I think just to give you a code, but never really will tell you exactly where to go; I checked on the attached photos what images I want my videos appear in.

    fs.png

Because you might be able to discern, I already managed to enter actionscript code in basically "gotoAndPlay" - ing the individual frames, so all I need to do is to place the videos of youTube on each specific image, and then I should be sitting pretty!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Integration of youtube videos problems

OK, so I copy youtube one code directly paste it into indesign. I'm going to the overlay and enable automatic playback. I've done this before and it worked, now it doesn't. Someone knows why?

Google made a change in the embed code that requires a minor modification. When you copy the source code, Google includes src = / / www.youtube.com/, which does not DPS. You must add the prefix HTML: src =http:/ / www.youtube.com.

  • Integration of YouTube continues to crash the application.

From yesterday, I was (I see others on the forum as well) the difficulties of integration of Youtube videos to Muse. I'm going to walk me through what I tried and what the results have been:

    1. in the past I would open the widget library, click on Youtube, drag it on the screen and continue to fill in the details this method has crashed to the app.

    2. I tried to copy a video from YouTube that successfully been placed on the place of anthers in Muse. I pasted the video on the page where I wanted. This method has crashed the app.

    3. I went to the YouTube video in my default browser. I made sure that "activate Advanced mode of confidentiality" was checked. I copied the embed code then pasted on the page desired of the Muse. This method has crashed the app.

    4. I contacted the support who had me try from the dialog box run, typed "%AppData%, a click on the Adobe folder and changed the folder Adobe Muse CC Adobe Muse CC_old. They then asked me to open a new site in Muse and try to embed the video. This method has crashed the app.

    5. support had me then disable all antivirus programs and firewalls. They then asked me to open a new site in Muse and try to embed the video. This method has crashed the app.

Support and then asked me to create a new connection to the administrator on the computer. I didn't take this step, so I'm hoping to find a better solution. If anyone knows a solution please let me how this problem is growing very frustrating.

A little more background. December 28 Adobe Flash Player update to resolve a security bug. Microsoft has eliminated an update about 30 December included in this update of Flash Player. Unfortunately, the update of Flash Player presents a bug for applications that use the browser technology Windows OS within their applications, such as the Muse preview feature and creating view Muse design of an image of the post to YouTube videos (and other HTML includes). This bug is the cause of this accident. Adobe Flash Player update to fix this bug on January 1. (see the Flash Player release notes for details Release Notes |) Flash Player® AIR® 20 20>.) • Impossible to incorporate and view YouTube videos to Muse: 'plugin blocked. "

Hello! I'm unable to embed YouTube videos on my site of Muse. Whenever I have paste either YouTube embed code in an HTML object or try to use the YouTube widget, Muse shows a black box instead of the object with the "Plug-in Blocked" notification, and I'm unable to view the content. I can embed Vimeo videos very well, but I'd really like the ability to integrate YouTube videos as well.

Does anyone know why Muse blocking me the integration of YouTube videos? This seems to be a very odd behavior, and I found no other discussions on the forum regarding this same issue.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide!

Great idea! I never use Safari, Chrome only. But when I tried to view the video in Safari, I discovered my Flash Player youtube plugin was out of date. I installed the latest version of Flash Player and that fixed the problem! The YouTube widget now works normally w / muse and I also see embedded YouTube videos. Please point me in the right direction. I never thought to solve this problem. You Rock!

After reading some posts here about possible solutions, I tried to delete all the cookies for YouTube (Tools > options > privacy > show cookies > youtube.com). Then tested on a site with integrated video would not play before and on YouTube directly - both worked!

  • Integrated YouTube video covers menu submenu (launcher)

I have a master page menu with sub menu that flies outside.  I placed two youtube videos on one of the pages of the site.  No matter what I do, the videos cover the flyout - that is to say the submenus become partially hidden behind the videos. (Videos are in their location for special reasons, if I want to keep where they are.)  I tried to send the object to the back; I tried the layers and those of the rear layer or downstairs, I even tried a (single) Accordion Panel and sending it to the back.  None of them worked.  Is there a way to fix this?  Thank you.

Thank you for sharing the file.

It seems question was limited to internet Explorer only.

Using Youtube widget under 'Social' in the library of Widgets Panel will correct the problem.

  • Integrated YouTube video... .in-limiting?

I have YouTube videos embedded in my project of Muse and they seem to be limited to 360 p in the YT Panel settings (Muse), even though they are 720 x 405 on YT Site.

    The embed code says 720 x 405.

Muse creates a limiting factor to view videos from my page?

If Yes... How to fix it please. ?

    Hello

The 720 x 405 is the width and the height of the frame in which the video will play and 360 p would be the resolution of the video source.

The resolution adjusts automatically by YouTube based on bandwidth network.

It can then be changed manually, but initially he always picks up quality parameters according to your internet speed.

If you check the same video on a fast internet connection, you should find the quality setting vary accordingly.

    Kind regards

This question is a little complex, that similar to other problems that I posted on this site. You see, I use a WIRELESS connection to my router. It has a 5 signal bars. • How to run YouTube video on do scroll the page in the browser?

When you pull the YouTube widget on the site of Muse. I want the video should start scrolling down. Means that when appearing on the screen, then it starts to play.

I went ahead and scheduled a widget to make it easy for people to create an auto play Youtube video.

Take a look at the demo here--> Youtube Play on Scroll demo

My widget Youtube Play on Scroll works perfectly and is sensitive too!

Before using it however, I strongly advise you to NOT use

The AutoPlay videos are horrible a drawing or model and point of view of the features. Loading Youtube videos in the page usually slows down page loading time (this widget videos load asynchronously if it is not a problem). Even more people hate videos AutoPlay.

There is a reason for the automatic playback of videos to exist and the only reason why I made this widget - background videos! This widget allows you to create a cool background

You can download this widget here--> http://www.mediafire.com/download/3s0yblumatnt5pm/Youtube_Play_On_Scroll.mulib

Double-click the MULIB file for import into your library. From there, simply drag and drop it onto your page.

  • Set up vimeo or youtube video in interactive PDF InDesign CC

    Hello!

I've read several articles about it but can't find a way to solve this problem:

, I have created an interactive PDF using InDesign CC and I would like to embed vimeo and youtube videos to play directly in the file. When I insert the URL does not work because it starts by https:// (not http://). Deletion of obviously the doe "s" does not solve the problem because he says it's not compatible with Flash Player.

Is there anyway that I can fix this?

I decided to create an interactive PDF only because I wanted to be able to integrate online videos!

You can not. Several years ago YouTube was a Flash API for direct playback of video integrated inside a SWF file of parent (the only way to do it in a PDF file), but it also allowed the population to ignore advertising, so they we closed. The current API only supports the incorporation of HTML for web pages.

The URL 'embed' to sites like YouTube and Vimeo is a link to their web page, not the video file itself (legally you can't link directly to the video stream so I will not explain how it could be done). Acrobat video player will not accept a URL that points to the video file or a stream RTMP connector, that's why the URL must end with a valid extension like ".mp4."

    The only options are:

    1. Stir all of the video file in the PDF - assuming you have a copy, and have the right to publish it. Easier to do, but the size of the file can be a problem.
    2. Host the video file on your own website and put the HTTP link in the annotation dialog box (simple but anyone can download a copy, is not safe).
    3. Listen to the file using Adobe Media Server (course but very expensive).
  • Flash integrated into Facebook videos do not appear when played

My computer is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, Internet Explorer 11 and Adobe Flash Player 14.0.0.145. I have Microsoft Security Essentials and a copy on Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to protect me against viruses and malware, and my IT Department confirms that there is no malware infection plays a role here.

However, I feel something weird and very frustrating reading all Adobe Flash videos that are embedded inside Facebook.com, including those that are shared from YouTube. Opening of the same YouTube video on YouTube.com does not produce the same behavior - videos YouTube ALWAYS play well on YouTube.com (whether embedded or full-screen), but NEVER play fine when they are integrated within a Facebook post.

NOTE: The same videos work EXACTLY as PLANNED for Firefox and Google Chrome, so this seems to be a problem specific to IE. It started at the time where I was running IE10 and continued to IE11 wire.

Here is what is happening in the two Internet Explorer 10 and 11:

    1. In my Facebook News feed, I search for a video I want to watch. Before pressing Play, I still see a shot of the video with the play icon transposed on the top of the image.
    2. I click on the play icon to play the video in embedded mode of Facebook (where I can see the other news messages above and below the video).
    3. The image disappears and turns white (no borders, just white). Along the bottom edge of the video is a bar containing the play/pause, volume, maximize buttons etc. Behind these buttons, I can see a view faded still - moving on the lower edge of the video, but the rest of the video area is completely white.
    4. I hear audio that plays, even if I can't see one frame other than the lower edge, that I have just described.
    5. If I click the maximize button on the lower right part of the video, the clip opens to fill the screen and all of a sudden, the video image appears and runs as expected.
    6. If I press ESC to exit the view to enlarge it, returns to the screen (with the video back to the context of RSS) Facebook integrated, but the image turns white again just as in step 3, with audio that plays again as in step 4.
    7. Make a right-click on the offending video brings up a menu drop-down indicating that the video is to use Adobe Flash Player 14.0.0.145.

Other videos shared on Facebook, like those of vimeo.com, play without any problem in the Facebook.com even news from view, regardless of whether they are built-in or mode full screen. Only the videos using Adobe Flash Player seem to be affected here.

    I tried the following:

    • Uninstalled Adobe Flash Player. Reset. Open Facebook.com, you can find the video in the news feed, which indicates that the Adobe Flash must be installed. Click on the link provided and install Adobe Flash on adobe.com. Return to the video in my RSS on facebook.com and click play. Same behavior such as described above - no change.
    • Addition of facebook.com and youtube.com to my list of Trusted Sites. No change.
    • Addition of facebook.com and youtube.com to view Internet Explorer compatibility, you exit all instances of the browser, has reopened. No change.
    • Checked for unusual browser - nothing found extensions.
    • Cleared web cache, deleted cookies, resets the browsers to default and no advanced - settings default settings unchanged
    • Updates of Windows - all upgrades are underway.
    • Ran full scans with Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials. No malware or the problems detected. No problem found with roguekiller, adwcleaner and other related malware either tools.

Any suggestions for me here? I really just click Play to see the video, as anyone can. FYI, all the other computers (Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8) on my network play these same videos and IE9, IE10, IE11 without the problems I am having with this one. Of course, I'd appreciate any help you can offer!

This not the time.  It is not ideal, but you have two options to work, which is better than nothing.

In all likelihood, content providers will have to change the code to meet IE11 and superior.  I spent a lot of time this week examine some technical tips that we put together for the developers, but the long and less, is that IE wants developers to stop writing the code that handles the IE differently from other browsers.

IE has a history of not working exactly as the other browsers, and for a variety of reasons (including how JavaScript and Flash communicate with each other), the developers as normal practice wrote a lot of code to deal specifically with these quirks in Internet Explorer.

Out of this impossible situation where they want the markup to be the same for all browsers, but having all this code specifically targeted on the IE due the long legacy to be problematic for web developers, IE masquerades as something else and disables features such as conditional comments that target IE code.

The net result is that a lot of things is broken in IE11.  We work closely with Microsoft to be good partners and to help in this transition with some technical modifications on our end, but developers will have to change their code and/or update the underlying libraries everywhere on the web.  This will not happen from one day to the next.  Large suppliers of content with more resources will likely exceed the speed of small sites with less developers, but it will be months or years before it shakes.
