  Since upgrading to Firefox 23.0.1, I noticed that I had intermittent problems with no audio in Youtube videos. I've since discovered that, if I go on youtube for a video, there is no audio. The strange thing about it, however, if the video is linked through a forum, and I look at what he built through this forum, it works fine.

  Other video sites (test site linked in the FAQ and videos on mozilla.org) work well. If I open the youtube video in IE, it works fine.

  Issue seems to be specific to Flash. When I set my defaults to HTML5, any video which launches via HTML 5 works fine in Firefox. It is only when the video try to run via Flash that I had problems.

  I crossed and uninstalled the flash plug-in and removed the flash from the PC, then did a clean reinstall. Whatever the problem, it is left for a new install of flash.

  YouTube videos have been download slowly and for a while, but now, Google videos, make too much freezing.  Videos on Hulu are a little better; they freeze, but after a few seconds to start up again.  I have deleted cookies, history, etc & freed disk space.  I have a Dell laptop w/Vista which is about 4 years old.  Was having a problem w/be minced, but changed to Aero Classic & now videos play smoothly. they just do not play throughout 90% of the time. Toured the break of the video until the loading bar has been filled, but now, even that does not work. Videos play up to a certain point and then won't go away, even if I try to click before. Audio & display are ok.  Sought the answers elsewhere online, but thought that perhaps here, I could find a Vista user who might have this same problem.  Thanks for your suggestions or help.

  This seems to happen on all the Youtube video I play. I don't know other videos because I rarely find out all others. When the video freeze arrives that the download bar is always before the bar of games so I don't think that download is the problem. However, when frost occurs, the download bar stop moving. When game bar catches up to the download bar, the sound also stops. If I move my cursor, the video and audio are starting to play again. As long as I keep my cursor moving, the video plays well. I use Firefox 18.0.1. The computer is an HP dv6-1350us with two processors. Operating system is Windows 7. I also sometimes use Chrome and the gel can't on Chrome.

  or, as an alternative, you could try downgrading of 10.3 flash (which is always supported) and see if that fixes the problem.

• YouTube videos do not display any Visual, audio only. Help?

  I just bought my computer Samsung brand new with Windows 7. I've had it for two weeks and I encountered a problem which is a big problem for me. I watch a lot of YouTube videos, and just yesterday I went on YouTube, signed into my account and just clicked on a video. The wheel of "unhooked" loading or something like that and the screen stays black, but I could hear the audio very well. The 'prescription' at the bottom of the video was also strange too: whenever I dragged my mouse back along it, all the numbers would pop up and won't go away. What makes this even more strange is that when I go to the channel of the person watching the video, it works very well. In this case for any video, signed-in or out; I also tried to restart my computer, but that no longer works.

  It's really strange, and I'm not at all happy that a brand new computer is already started to act in this way. I have nothing to this fact: no viruses, download odd (all my downloads have been updated recommended by my computer and files of the school), summary Web sites, etc.

  If anyone else has this problem, for future reference:

  Go to the channel that this video has been posted on--> make a right click on the drive--> click Settings--> uncheck "enable hardware acceleration".

  Since the update in 2015, I have a problem that the sound is out of sync during the reading (but OK on the rendered output files).

  It is out of sync in only about 4-7 images, but I edit a lot of complicated, optimistic dance videos, and I can't get the real feel to change.

  as I wrote, the rendering of the output is OK, but inside rendering is also out of sync.

  I have a strange request - it revolves around videos.

  Recently, the following problem occurred:

  YouTube videos will play fine, the audio and video are in sync.

  However, all the videos that aren't on youtube read audio only. This means that Web sites like liveleak (which use JW player), 4OD, ITV player and Vimeo (which use the moogaloop reader) read the audio only. In addition, the videos embedded on websites do the same.

  To try to solve the problem, I have:

  -Uninstalled and reinstalled flash drive
  -Uninstalled and reinstalled firefox
  -Right-click and disabled hardware acceleration

  You guys and girls what do you think might be the root of my problem. Audio plays well but liveleak shows a blank white box and vimeo shows just the 'snapshot' photo that appears to announce each video before clicking to read.

  What do you think is in place?
