Incorrect FDT directory

I try FDT (free version). When I go to install the AIR SDK 3.0 BB10 it does not accept the FDT installation directory.

Hello

The new FDT version dropped the number of version of his name, modify the directory structure. For this reason, the installation program can't * find * more.

This problem is already solved internally and, for the next version, the installation program will integrate correctly with FDT.

If you can't wait, you can try the following:

  1. Install SDK BB10 without FDT integration
  2. Once installation is complete:
    1. Run the FDT and choose help-> install new software
    2. Click on the button Add Local button.
    3. Point to the folder/Applications/Research in Motion/blackberry-tablet-sdk-3.0.0/update_site_for_AirCommon, and then click OK
    4. When displayed, select BlackBerry OS Support
    5. Proceed with the installation, accept the license, etc...
    6. Restart the FDT when asked.

Now, you will have the support of BlackBerry on FDT.

I hope that helps!

  • Packaging of FDT on windows error when you add the Active Directory in the package contents

    Hello!

    Trying new tools of FDT 5.5 for Adobe AIR, so far so good but I just encountered a problem when you try to add an Active Directory package.

    I add the shape of directory the FDT-> FDT AIR properties of project-> BlackBerry-> content tab package properties

    I click on add a directory and add the path to my Active Directory. (My current directory is in D:\Users\Julien\Travail\SRC\FDT5-workspace\MonArc\bin\assets)

    I then run a debugging, and I get the following error:

    Start debugging package.
    Package failed!
    Package failed: 1

    There is a bug filed in Jira of FDT: http://bugs.powerflasher.com/jira/browse/FDT-2739 go vote for ;-)

    I get only this error when packaging of BlackBerry app, iOS or Android, everything is fine, so I guess that maybe it's a bug in the BB Plugin for FDT...

    If anyone has experienced this problem and know a workaround solution?

    Thank you!

    Yay, this has been fixed in FDT 5.6!

  • Error - the file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect. "(0x8007007B), when you exit the system restore.

    Original title: System Restore problems

    Hello, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit classic mode.  My system specs are listed under my signature.

    Before installing a program today, I went to create a system restore point.  In system properties > System Protection, I see that in the Protection settings > disks available there are two instances of the C: drive tagged like this:

    HDD0 (C :) (System) Protection on (selected)
    HDD0 (C :) (Missing) Protection on

    This is probably due to having recently replaced my C: drive with a disk larger to help to restore from a System Image backup.  The installation seems to succeed.  (I use now!)

    Note: other readers in Protection settings are showing off Protection.

    When I clicked on "Set up" in system properties > System Protection, I have seen that in the restoration of settings, the box "Turn off active Protection" has been selected.  I put the option button "restore system settings and previous versions of files.  In space, the slider was set to 0.  I put it to 1% (857,54 MB).

    When I tried to leave the system of Protection for the dialog to HDD0 (c) I got this error:

    There was an unexpected error in the property page:
    The file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect.  (0x8007007B)
    Close the property page and try again.

    I deleted all restore points, then created a new restore point.  Current usage shows now 29,48 MB.  I still get the error when I try to the OK from the dialog box.  When I click on the system restore and start the Restore Wizard that I can see the restore point, I just created.

    Any help to banish the fake player available and messages will be appreciated greatly.

  • The directory name is incorrect

    I got a bad virus some time ago and after I got to dissolving a ton of weird stuff that happened as I can't install new programs I get the error "directory name is invalid" when I try to run the application to install.

    If necessary, do all the work with Malwarebytes in Safe Mode with network.

    To get into Safe Mode with network, press F8 at the Power On / boot and use key arrow upward to get into SafeMode with networking from the list of options, and then press ENTER.

    In my 1st answer, there is a link for access to the logs for SFC.

    And for the installation of repair, you will need to borrow a DVD of Microsoft Vista.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Also some info on the factory settings:
    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • The file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect.
    I have a program which accepts command-line arguments.
    The diagram that I have adopted is that each command line argument is shaped like this:
    x:argument
    where x is a letter that corresponds to a switch (as a mode of operation and the argument is an argument that goes hand in hand with this switch).
    : is my separator.
    I came across a problem with the following command line:
    If I run the following directly from the Windows command line:
    "C:\Test\Program.exe" '-c:C:\Documents and Settings\maciej\Desktop\Measurement and Automation\test\current.cfg' - m::a
    Everything works very well.
    If I try to use the Exec.VI system:
    And pass the following string
    cmd /c 'C:\Test\Program.exe' '-c:C:\Documents and Settings\maciej\Desktop\Measurement and Automation\test\current.cfg' - m::a
    I get the error as in the title of the post.
    Someone has ideas how to operate system Exec?
    It seems that exec system analyzes the:
    "-c:C:\Documents and Settings\maciej\Desktop\Measurement and Automation\test\current.cfg.
    part... numbers that it is not a file name... I don't want to do that I know that it is not but it's still an argument invalid cmd for me.
  • New site created at the level of the incorrect directory
    New to Dreamweaver and CS5.  I went to create a new site, but I created it at the root-level many other files on my hard drive are appearing "inside" of the site.  I do not have any content created yet, has been named the site.  If I go to "Manage Sites" and delete the wrong site, it will remove all other content on the hard drive inside this site?  Just afraid to hit the wrong button and removing hundreds of image PS files.
    No, you're safe.
    Manage Sites simply manages the site definition (which means tell Dreamweaver, in his own unique language, where the site is located on your hard drive)
    Removing a site definition to manage the Sites simply remove knowledge of Dreamweaver site location.
    But if you have set wrong just level files, just change the existing site definition and locally, set the appropriate folder. It's nothing more than that.
    To delete the contents of the real site, you must:
    (1) intentionally remove a file (or files) via the Panel files DW
    or
    (2) remove the files with your operating system (excluding DW).
    Option 2) is not recommended. Use option 1) and DW will load your management of links in your web pages for you.
  • Error in name of user/password incorrect when you copy files or from folders
    Our company uses a Mac Mini (with OS X Yosemite) and application server to share our internal files. We've had this set-up for year now with everything works well. As of late, however, we are more able to copy files or folders which are in all shared folders. Basically, when we try to copy any file or folder that is located in one of our share points, we get the error "Unable to connect to the server because the name or password is incorrect". This error occurs for each user account, including my own, that has been specified as an administrator account. We are able to add files and folders (e.g.: copy from our local computers to folders) as well as rename the files and folders that are located in shared folders. We can also create files without any errors, so I'm fairly certain it's not a permissions issue. In addition, I tried deleting completely all files and recreate their but not always the same error. I also tried to create new user accounts (accounts directory Local as the Local network directory) and the problem persists when you are connected to the server using these new accounts. I just don't know what else to do as this seems to be a software problem. Any ideas?
    Thank you
    OK, a little update. We have a mac (iMac) client computer that still works under OS X Yosemite. The user on this computer is able to copy files and folders without receiving this error. This same user has also a Macbook that runs El Capitan. Using the same network login for access to the server of their Macbook results in the same error message. All users who receive this error also run El Capitan on their Macs. With this latest development, I'm pretty much able to conclude that this error is the result of El Captain customers access to a shared folder on a server of Yosemite. What is curious is that I did not always have this error since the upgrade to El Capitan. I am sure that this problem came only in the last month or so leading me to conclude that either update to El Capitan (on the computers of our customers) or an update to Yosemite or the Server app) on the computer server has created this error. The issue is upgrading of the computer server to El Capitan solve this problem or am I in for a whole new can or worms?
    Hello szzqz, yes judging by the names of single file, these are the files that come with firefox and which are necessary for normal operations - so it is very likely that it is a false positive of your antivirus software. just to be sure, please download the full version of firefox for your new system from the official source to https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and install it on top of your current installation, which will replace the missing files.
