Increase the refresh rate of my LCD

Hey Hey Hey. How to increase the available for my LCD refresh rate? Should I increase the refresh rate? I can't find where to change.

The screen flashes? What is the refresh RRSP now? If you have set to 60 hz, it's ok.

  • It is Possible to change the refresh rate of the LCD?

Just purchased a DV7-1240us, and the refresh rate seems to be 'locked' at 60 Hz

I would like to know if it can be increased to 75 Hz or more (to save eye strain), is it even physically possible?

Neither possible nor necessary. 60 hz is just a virtual number since video systems must work with crt monitors and lcd display and control panels video need to fill something to refresh rate, they use 60. Digital billboards as the screens of laptops update in the same way a crt Monitor refreshes and doesn't cause eyestrain like flashing pixels. To relax.

  • How to increase the sampling rate in this VI?

    Hi all

I have recently inherited this mess of a VI and can not figure out how to increase the sampling rate. I tried to change the "ms of waiting ' clock, but it does not add more data points." The main VI, as well as the Subvi, which contains a Daq Assistant to a load cell and LVDT is attached. Any ideas on how to improve the sampling without a complete overhaul would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

If you are grateful, feel free to give congratulations and mark the topic as resolved.

  • If I use a few channels on PCI-6259 to increase the sampling rate, channels numbers can I be contiguous?

We are looking to buy a card PCI-6259 usable on a Linux machine. We would use NIDAQmx to access the card. If we were to use only a few channels to increase the sampling rate, do I need to select specific channels?

For example, the card is 1 MHz. If I select the channel 1 and channel 2, I can taste each channel at 500 KHz. could I choose 8 channel and channel 13 and still be able to sample each channel to 500KHz? Or need of specific channels to use when a subset of channels are selected?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the quick response.

  • Lock the refresh rate of 60 Hz / disable the 59Hz

    Hello

Before referring to other threads or post to say, it's normal, please read below:

I use a "display-port active to DVI Converter' since I have a KVM DVI switch. The converter does NOT work with the refresh 59Hz rate, but with 60 Hz. Whenever the KVM switch is on another computer for awhile and this computer is idle and puts the monitor on standby as part of energy saving, and I'll be back to use, the monitor wakes up at 59 Hz. Each time, I have to go through it switch back to 60 Hz. After awhile, it becomes tiring. And boring. And begins to drive you first slowly insane and so absolutely crazy.

It is a laptop Lenovo with an Intel HD 4600, on a dock, using the display out on the dock port.

Yes, is there a way to disable really this switch back to 59 Hz which is 'of design by the geniuses at Microsoft' maddening boredom, preference of Windows without using external utilities etc. ?

    Thank you.

    Hi GT,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I can imagine the disadvantages suffered by you and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem.

Ideally, when a monitor will automatically reconnect after disconnecting, the default view is illustrated by the windows. With the help of a switch KVM should not change the default refresh rate settings. There is a specific view which allows you to select the corresponding monitor display modes may not display correctly. You can read the following steps to display modes that your monitor cannot display.

(Warning: this can lead to an unusable display and/or damage to the material.)

    1. Right-click on the desktop screen, and then click Customize.
    2. Click view on the navigation bar.
    3. Click change display settings.
    4. Select your monitor, and then click Advanced settings.
    5. Go to the monitor tab.
    6. Clear the hide modes that this monitor cannot display.

Check if the monitor is able to display according to your configured settings.

Hope this information is useful. Let us know if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.

  • EliteBook 850 2: Elitebook 2 850 - how to get external monitor to the refresh rate of 60 Hz?

I got Philips information on it.  There are two parts to the solution.

First of all, the default monitor DisplayPort 1.1 out of the box, that does not support the 60 Hz in 4 K resolution.

In menu - select Setup - Select Display screen Port - select 1.2.

This will cause windows to 'freak out' and the two views to Flash and the.  I had to unplug the external monitor for checking back on the laptop screen.

Then restart the computer and reconnect the DisplayPort monitor

You will then see that 60 Hz became available on the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel.  However, you cannot set it there - the monitor will just blink on and off for a few minutes and return to 30 Hz.

    Instead:

-Right click on the desktop, and then select display settings
    -Click Advanced display settings
    -Click on properties display adapter
-Click the all channels list and scroll to the 60 hz option and apply it.

You get the dialog box 'confirm the display settings', and then it will be clocked at 60 Hz.

I noticed that on some computers laptops Toshiba, the screen refresh rate is fixed on 60 Hz.
The screen refresh rate is not important on laptop screens.
Matrix TFT is not such a thing as the refresh rate. It is not blinking.
TFT as all other LCD screens do not refresh rate setting, only the reaction time.

  • Refresh rate of the external monitor (closed macbook) reset

    Hello

Im very new to OS X, I have a macbook air 13 "that I have it plugged into my external monitor acer, when he was in closed mode (clamshell) I changed frequency by accident and now I can't change this back as the ' entry is not displayed. How can I change the refresh rate of the external monitor when the settings show only if the macbook is closed? As I said, I'm new so I am not very confident through many parameters, any help is appreciated.

If you have previously enabled "Screen sharing" Preferences-> sharing system then you can use another Mac to control this Mac and change it to one that works remotely.

You could 'open' the Mac to use its built-in screen and then be able to change the settings of the external monitor.

You can try to reset the setting by following the steps listed here Re: how to restore the display settings

  • Buffer the output AO, refresh rate is different from the sample clock frequency

    Hello

I am an AO output in the buffer using a single channel. I have a stamp with a ripple of 200000 points with a triangular waves of a 1000pts each repeated 200 times. If I want a frequency of 1 Hz, I simply update this waveform 1000pts and if I wanted to 5 Hz, then 5000pts and so on. But there is some frequency that I won't be able to use like the refresh rate (the number of samples that I ask to update) is different from the sample clock frequency, which makes synchronization with the other difficult to trigger (incomplete cycle).  Frequency 3 Hz (update 3000pts), as (update 7000pts) 7, 6 Hz (update 6000pts), 9 (update 9000pts)... 11Hz at 15 Hz and is not valid in the sense that the refresh rate is different from the sample clock frequency. That makes a whole lot of inaccessible CONFIGURED!  Can someone tell me what determines the banned frequency?  Is this something to do with the material?

    concerning

One thing you can try is to change the number of samples per cycle. This cannot give the precise frequency accurately, but can reduce the average error.

120 Hz, the error is currently about 400 parts per million (ppm). The accuracy of the time base is 50 ppm, then this error is less than 10 times the inherent error due to the time base.

Consider this configuration: the closest nominal sampling you rate, you can get is 120048 Hz (1000 samples per cycle at 120 Hz). If your buffer contains 1200 samples per cycle, 100 copies of it would produce 1 second of data to 120,048 Hz. But if the buffer contained an average of 1200,48 useful Samper by cycle, you get the exact frequency.  Of course getting 0.48 of a sample is delicate. But the kind of feasible. If you use 48 cycles in the 1201 samples per cycle and the cycles of 52 to 1,200 samples per cycle, the total number of samples per second = 120048. Average frequency will be exactly what you want. Instantly, the frequency is slightly higher or lower than the exact value.  By an alternation of 1200, 1201, 1200, 1201... 1201, 1200 100 cycles that the Jig is fast.  If you group all 1200s whole and all 1201 s frequency hopping may be more sensitive.  If this kind of jitter is acceptable depends strongly on what you do with the release.

This technique is used in some systems of frequency synthesizer.

  • Refresh rate of the monitor 2310 m HP and how to set?

This may seem a stupid question, but I agree with the idea that there was no matter what stupid questions, people simply stupid.

What is the refresh rate of the 2310 m, and how can I make sure that my PC card and/or graphic is set to the appropriate refresh rate?

Just got my new 2310 m today, and boy is snazzy. He hung with its cable DVI - D ma/DVI - I took on my PC and it looks great right out of the box. Haven't heard too much audio yet, but it sounds good so far and the volume level is higher than expected, which is nice. (You can always do evolve that you want only it softer sound.) Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. I just need to know this small a detail so that I don't accidentally FRY this 'thing'.

    Notice to lovers?

Assuming that you have installed the monitoring software.  Win7.  Right-click on the desktop.  Choose "screen resolution." "" Advanced settings '.  'Monitor' tab  Refresh rate possible are only to see the.  Probably the optimum is already in place.  My new HP monitor has only three choices and fastest has been already chosen.

  • Bad screen refresh rate shown under Vista - Satellite P100-429

    Hello

I have a Satellite P100-429. There are three weak, I install Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, but now the highest of screen refresh rate is 60 Hz. I tried to download the latest drivers for the graphics card, but this will not work and the computer also says that the monitor is called generic PNP.

Before Vista has a 100 Hz screen refresh rate and monitor had his screen Toshiba TruBrite WXGA + TFT of own name I tried looking for drivers for the monitor but without success, someone can help me pretty please, I get headaches for the low screen refresh rate.

    Hello

Have you installed the right graphics card driver?
Immediately after installation of Vista, the operating system uses Microsoft's own common graphics driver.
If you want to use additional graphics options, you need to install the compatible graphics card driver.

But I want to clarify something. The LCD or TFT screens give excellent quality and resolution at 60 Hz.
the Refresh on TFT rate simply won't say the same thing about monitors CRT.
Response time, brightness of the Image and the contrast of the Image are more important for a TFT or LCD monitor like the refresh rate.

Performance display and the quality isn't worst if it run on 60 Hz
Therefore, I see no reason to change the refresh rate of 100 Hz

  • Refresh rate of Quadro NVS 140 for external monitor

I absolutely have to change on my external monitor refresh rate. I dropped the laptop this morning and broke the LCD screen, so I plugged an old maryvonne 17F3. I can't change the refresh rate and it flickers badly. Technical support eMachines stated that the refresh rate is controlled by the video card and that no driver is required for their monitor (as they have not first: smileysurprised :).) So how can I change the refresh rate? I have the latest Dell drivers for my 830 latitude.

    Thank you.

My question is, what turns its refresh rate to? I heard its 60 Hz. Now, I can live with that, but I also need to know if I can connect a monitor to 144 Hz to the Mac itself and not had any problems. The main games IT will run is CSGO and TF2 for reference.

    See you soon

DO NOT buy the computer with 32 GB of RAM, buy it with the 8 GB and 16 GB of Crucial purchase basis or OWC to get to 24GB which will be more than enough!

I'm sure you can find the refresh rate by searching the tecniques or if you don't know, then call Apple online store and request.
