Increase the width of the label of button component Radio

Hi guys,.

I tried to find a way to increase the width of the Radio button component label I use in my Quiz - I have some long questions which are not fully visible in the label box, and he's hiding, how to extend the width of the label, so that she can receive.

I tried Multiline and Word Wrap in property textfield but its not getting my anywhere.

Here is what I currently use?

RB6. Label.Multiline = true;

RB6. TextField.wordWrap = true;

RB6. TextField.Width = 352;

But nothing happens, please help

I normally give up using the radio button label and just use a textfield that is adjacent to it, reducing to the minimum width of the component so that the area of the button.

  • The location of the labels in Whiteboard component

    Hello

    I need to locate some labels in the elements of Whiteboard.

    Looking at the source code, it seems that you are using a private class "com.adobe.coreUI.localization.Localization".

    How can I get around to my own resource Pack?

    See you soon,.

    Xavier

    Hi Xavier,.

    The key here is fairly easy - essentially, we have a static accessor.

    Localization.impl, which is an instance of ILocalizationManager. Here is the

    Interface:

    public interface ILocalizationManager

    {

    function getString(p_inStr:String):String;

    function formatString(p_inStr:_String,...args):String;

    }

    The default implementation returns the input string - essentially

    nothing. For the Whiteboard, all channels, you will need are processed by

    'getString', then your formatString didn't need to do anything.

    To insert your own location, simply make your own implementation of

    ILocalizationManager, can affect it:

    Localization.impl = new MyCustomLocalizationManager();

    I know that this is not consistent with the approach of resourceBundle Flex uses.

    but we have to live together non-Flex and Flex frameworks. However, it should be

    trivial to take a resourceBundle and build an ILocalizationManager that

    pulling his strings, if that's what you want to do.

    hope that helps!

  • Definition of the label you want its width (and button)

    How can I pay for my labelto preferred size to the width of the text there? I have an label, the TextField and button all in one line in a GridPane, using FXML. The label is in (0, 0), is the TextField (0, 1) and the button is in (0, 2).

    My behavior wanted would be for the Label and Button , take just enough space to properly display text and the TextField in the Middle look after the rest of the space. I'd rather not simply understand the width of the text and to hardcode the values, as that could create problems if I change the text later, and I prefer not having to calculate the width and then set the width by default in this way, because it would probably be to write code outside the FXML file and to my knowledge calculation of the width of the text in JavaFX is a hack at best.

  • Converter of element tree with button don't resize with the text of the label

    I have a class that extends TreeItemRenderer. I put a Button control in my element converter and set the label on the button, I thought that autosize to fit this label button.  Who is is not the case, I was wondering how or where can I size my button in the sequence of events to draw (IE commitProperties, measure, updateDisplayList).

    I tried all within all three draw button.width = button.explicitWidth or button.width = button.measuredWidth (who sometimes works until the new element converters are exposed).

    Any ideas?

    If you have added a control to an extension of the TreeItemRenderer, then you must

    call setActualSize on it in updateDisplayList, probably by checking its

    getExplicitOrMeasuredWidth () /Height)

  • Using the button to increase the length of the line (an easy!)

    Hi I want to set a script to a button which will increase the length of a line (movieclip) by x amount each time.

    I tried to use this:

    on {(press)

    this.line._xscale = this.line._xscale + 5

    }

    .. that work, but also scales upward the value y of the line. How can I A) lock one end of the line in position and B) stop the value y of the line?

    Thank you! R.

    It is an alignment problem.

    If you go into the symbol of the line, select the line and line up at the high point and left (so the collimator is in the upper left corner of the line) the top/left corner of the line will always be in the same place, when you change its width.

  • Cluster containing the label the button Get?

    In view of the reference to a button in a cluster control, how can I get the label of the cluster containing (parent)?

    More information on the task at hand:

    I have a pair of buttons ('read' and 'write') within a cluster, what I repeated in rows and then wrapped in another cluster for convenience of layout. I now want to manage the events of each button, grouped by lines and columns, as in the photo (also attached VI):

    My goal is to have a case of "read" event and one case of event "write", and according to what rank button is pressed, the code will be the index of an array of data for reading and writing. I know I could write separate events for each, or change the labels for each button to "Read button 0", ' Read button 1 "," read "button 2", but this is just an illustrative example for a much larger grid of buttons and other controls, and it is prohibitively expensive to turn on each of the labels, modify them, and then hide each of the labels.»»

    If this is not possible, I am open to other ways to address this problem that don't involve not copy paste cases of event for each line (since it is also prohibitive for the frequency at which cases are changed).

    Thanks in advance,

    Arthur

    You can use the node property of the object button called "holder".  What it does is return a reference to the object owner of this button, in this case the cluster.  Then you can convert this reference to a more specific class of the cluster.  Then use a property node to read the label.text.

  • With the help of button text label in case selector

    Hello forum members

    I have to use a digital button with labels of text instead of numbers:

    For better readability of the code I would use the text (not the value of the entire control) values in a structure of matter as a selector directly values. I could use the "[] labels text" or the "Digital displays [] well, if I could cast a ring or enum.

    The help of LabVIEW offers:

    Text [] property Dim labels hasPlayer, hasPlayer playerversion = false playerversion = 10 Do While playerversion > 0 On Error Resume Next hasPlayer = (IsObject (CreateObject ("ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash." & playerversion))) if hasPlayer = true then Exit Do playerversion = playerversion - 1 loop is_FlashVersion = is_Flash playerversion = hasPlayer

    If you want to create no sequential numeric values, use the Digital Displays [] property to get a reference to the display of text label then convert the reference to the class of the ring and use the property of string values and [of] .

    But I don't understand how to do the casting or if I am misunderstanding of aid.

    Does anyone have a suggestion?

    Thank you!

    Klaus

    Klaus M says:

    I now believe that it is not possible to use such a dial marked as a control of enum in food of a selector ' for text.

    Depends on what you mean by "as an enum. The text label can be connected on a box structure. You must manually set the element box selectors, however, for different cases you have. You cannot dynamically create the enum, if that's what you're fishing for. You can, however, have defined as typedef enum and cast.
