  Your problem could be solved if you turn off YOUR Application framework in the window Menu.

  You can create bookmarks in an InDesign document that will take you to a page in the document by double-clicking. Use the Bookmarks panel (window > Interactive > bookmark). Select text and choose new bookmark. Or selected text on a particular page, choose new bookmark and rename for this page.

But when I opened my, the window flashes non-stop to the point where I can not create a new document, because I can't even select or key in the details such as dimension/size of the document.

  Funny, it's good that I can not open a new document because of this problem, I can open existing files to HAVE. For example, I asked one of my colleagues sent me a new, white document with the size that I have to start working on it, and it opens fine, flicker-free.

  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the package at least two times, but the problem persists. Is someone can you please tell me how I can solve this problem? Thank you!

  They say it's a bug and they are about it.

  Now, try to activate the Ilu by clicking with the right button and "run as Administrator".

  That should do the job.

  You are missing a parenthesis at the beginning of the find which, according to me. Here, it works with all small caps OpenType.

• Document window does not appear on the launch

  I just installed InDesign CC the other day. But at that point, I noticed that does not display the document window. So when I run the program, I can see my desktop (see the screenshot below). And I don't see InDesign panels and toolbars. The same problem occurs with Illustrator CC, but NOT in Photoshop. This is a new feature for InDesign/Illustrator?

  To view the document window, you must open a document or create a new document.

  On mac, you can also activate the frame of the Application that will cover the frame, window > Application frame.

  1. in InDesign CC, kuler menu is in window > Extensions menu.

  2. the site Web Kuler, ase download option is present in menu hover theme and on-site 1 page (see screenshot below). You must log in to download a theme as an .ase file.

  3. download ASE option is not present on devices that do not support iPad for example .ase file format. What browser and OS are you using?

  I just created an interactive InDesign, building a portfolio file.

  This document has first page for an index page with thumbnails for each "job" that you can click and the document will then go to the corresponding page. Each work is on a separate page that has multiple slides on it, as an object of State multi, containing images and movies (currently in f4v format).

  I did like that to keep the structure of page as clean as possible. Now, I can have only 1 page for each work and have still several slides in this page.

  Now here's my problem: Is it possible to convert or export the document, so it can be seen on an iPad aswell? (either as an application or html5 or something that the iPad can read?)

  Some info about the complications:

  Since I used the functions which are not compatible with interactive PDF must be exported as a SWF file or in Florida when you export to SWF format, and an html file, it works on the web and on my computer but is not compatible if I wanted to open on an iPad.

  Flash Pro has a feature to export flash iPad apps and html5 documents which looks great BUT when export to format FLA of InDesign strips the document from animation, feature of the buttons and actions so I have to redo all the features in flash until I can export it from there. Unfortunately I do not know flash or actionscript.

  Is there a way either:

  -export in FLA format which includes all actions, so I could just open it in flash and export them directly from flash to html og iPad?

  -convert the SWF exported (including the resources folder) in html5?

  -Export directly from InDesign to iPad magazine or the application that takes in charge: buttons, multi-state-objects, videos, sounds etc?

  I'm running on a mac 10.8.2, creative cloud Adobe (InDesign CS6, CS6 Flash, generally all the apps should work on the latest updates thanks to this great service!)

  In InDesign, file > new > book. Save the book. When you see the book panel, you can use the rollout and then "add a Document" or click the "+" button at the bottom of the Panel. Access your individual documents and they should all charge up. Save the book.

  I have a Flex panel in InDesign, which I drag a URL. If I drop this URL in a text editor or a web browser, it works. But when I try to drop on my InDesign document, it's a little more difficult.

  I've implemented a subclass of CDragDropTargetFlavorHelper. The drop works perfectly under Windows. But on a mac, I have problems in the CouldAcceptTypes method:

  The problem is that kTrue response.canDo () of answers on Windows, but on Mac kFalse. I tried to explore the content of dataIter, but a call to dataIter-> First() returns zero. I tried a controller-> GetItemCount(), which returns the value 1. But if I try a controller-> GetDragItem (1), I get a pointer zero. I feel there is no element.  However, the fall works on an application other than InDesign as I said.

  Is this a problem of integration? Or something else? He let me dry.

  I finally found a 'solution '. It is dirty, but I couldn't find another clean solution, so I use it.

  The solution is the following: in the couldAcceptTypes method, I get the first object in the DataObjectIterator and store the itemID I recover from the object in. I record it with a dirty memcpy (no other solution, the method is declared as const).

  Then, in the ProcessDragCommand, I get the itemID and then call GetDragItem with the itemID. There, I finally get the item.

  Why make such a solution? Because the itemID on PC is alsways 1. But on Mac, I got one was something like 719531, or other. I don't know why.

  If this solution can help someone, it will be good. If anyone finds a solution, I would be grateful to know it.

  Hi all

  Problems resizing the document window main with the script fragment below. Used to work perfectly in CS3. In CS4, if the document window is maximized and then run the script, it works: it makes the smaller window. If the doc window is smaller than the maximum size and the script is executed, it maximizes the doc window: it is not the size specified in the script. In other words, every second time the script is run it works; other times, it maximizes the doc window. Have tried to use smaller values for the size of the victory, but no matter what values are.

  Any idea what goes wrong? It's a little annoying problem for me...

• InDesign CS4 window fills the screen when opening

  I just installed Adobe CS4 Design Premium version 6.0.3.  When I open a document using InDesign, the window almost fills the screen 30 "on my Apple HD Display.  I would like to set the window size so that it frames a document of 8.5 "x 11" portrait with only a bit of margin all around. "  When I do that, and you save the document, it always opens to the same, large window.  It would be much more effective that I could put the size of the window to the required dimensions so that it would open in this configuration and not in the large version.  I can't get there.  Any ideas?  Thanks for any help you can give.  I am running 10.5.7 on a Mac Pro (early 2008) with 2 GB of RAM and a lot of hard disk space.
