InDesign has stopped working

I'm having a time terribly difficult all of a sudden with Indesign CC 2015 (Windows).

It has been working perfectly for a year, but all of a sudden (as), he does not even start.  I am able to attribute this to the last update...

When I completely uninstalled and reinstalled via Apps Cloud, it won't let me install CC 2014.  So I install this, then run it.  It works fine... but of course, I can't open any of my projects in it.

The cloud instantly gives me the opportunity to upgrade.  I update (again, an older version), and it installs and works fine... At this point, I CAN open a previous project, but he wants me to convert DOWNSTAIRS.  I refused because applications Cloud said that there is an another update pending.  So (foolishly) that I did the update.  NOW it no longer works.  Will not start at all.  I get the message "Adobe Indesign CC 2015 has stopped working".  That's all.

I will be again to UNINSTALL, and reinstall, but anyway, I'm done sort of like my projects are not opening in the current version (although Indesign worked FINE last week).

Adobe support structure simply takes me in circles and there seems to be NO way to actually communicate with a real person.

I'm at the end of my rope.  If someone saw, please help.  (NOTE: I read some messages in the forum on the removal of the files in the directories of the USER.)  I tried.  No go.
