  You can use the function "buid array.

  Your two tables on the 'build' of wire table, then right-click on the function "create array" and select "Concatenate".

  It'll work like a charm!

• indicators inside the loop does not display a value in hand VI

  I have little indicators one table and another is the display image to the inside OF the loop in the sub vi (see attachment of files). If I'm running under vi individually, it works fine, but when I call these indicators in my main vi It shows something, and these indicators appear to be empty or blank, although at the same time the sub vi indicates the values of these indicators perfectly.

  Can any body guide me why I can't see these indicators correctly in vi main even if I can see them in the sub vi correctly.

  Control references that you want to pass to your VI are the images and output array references If you want to update.

  Then, in your Subvi, write in the nodes property of these references If you want to see the updates on your hand VI.

  EDIT: Although this method can you work around your immediate problem, I don't think it's something you really want to do often. There is probably a better way of this option to get the results desired real architect.

• Satellite P200D Factory defaults recovery

  I post here in the name of an old man who bought a Satellite P200D-PSPBQE, S/N 28160997 K (Vista Home Premium French) who has gone through a series of problems. He cannot attend his book himself and so asked me to fix it.

  The laptop has especially worked for two or three years until this summer when it has overheated (as I can judge by touching the case) and switched automatically a few times off the coast. At one point the laptop wouldn't even step to the BIOS.

  Here is a rough summary of what I did then:

  I began to open the case, but it seems too difficult, so I closed it back and use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust in the vents, restarted the laptop and it are returned and very well for a while. At one point, the owner of the laptop mentioned a small bug crept once out of the laptop but I don't mind at this moment.

  After some time, Vista has experienced various gels (maybe explore buggy but I couldn't judge I never looked in the event viewer that I had no idea what kind of help the EV could bring until very recently). I thought that this could be due to the many automatic switchoffs who listens to the Vista system files. I ran sfc/scannow, who pointed out a few errors, but cannot fix them. Yet it is not attached to the gel. I stuff ready for the usual save the data/reinstall vista and drivers/restore cycle data.

  On the recovery discs: I asked the owner for all Toshiba drives, but it didn't, not even the recovery disk based 100MB.

  I thought that automatic recovery of factory default partition existed but that he could not find its start-up in the manuals coming with the laptop. I was curious and thought, Hey, I'll start the recovery partition myself with a boot partition tool. I ran the Partition Magic CD reported contradictory of the partitions on the first drive, which prompted me to repair it with suggested partition table values: I stupidly pressed Yes and then not really started (or so I think). I couldn't see any recovery partition only two 80 GB system partitions, and data were present. A race of Ranish Partition confirmed it.

  Yet, I tried to turn on the laptop while pressing '0' at the same time, as stated in some tech forums but it didn't not start any recovery procedure at all.

  I could not find the recovery disk creator in the menu program so I downloaded and it started and it reported, no partition recovery not found.

  As I found myself helpless without any recovery solution (I had not heard backupmedia.toshiba.eu) I downloaded a copy of Vista of P2P (Yes, it's bad, but I was impotent). This laptop has two hard drives of 160 GB, of which the second was not used. I exchanged the places of two readers, installed Vista using the product key from COA to empty disk. I installed the display driver and the retrospective data is restored and the laptop is back on the spot two, running OK, but still from time to time of freezing.

  Finally, I decided to call the assistance of Toshiba in France who reported to me on the backupmedia.toshiba.eu site where I can order recovery disks.

  _Before I order backup disks I have a few questions: _

  Can I open the case and do a thorough cleaning of any dust remaining/bugs/etc? (I guess that the answer is Yes) Are there instructions for that?

  Maybe hit the cpu overheating. Should I run a test of cpu and which?

  Overheating may have affected the memory modules. Running Windows Memory Test enough or do I run Memtest 3.x or later version to check the memory sticks?

  Is there really a recovery partition on the hard drive of this series (P200D-PSPBQE) system? If Yes and given the Partition Magic probably changed only the partition table, is there a way to restore the original partition table values and thus to restore access to the recovery partition? That would save me the trouble to order backup discs.

Toshiba.EU offers you to order a backup for 35 euros drive about it's a drive to restore default factory containing Vista, drivers and tools, or just the basic restore disk that starts (currently absent) recovery partition? In the second case, how to restore the laptop to original factory settings?

  I wouldn't recommend disassemble the laptop. This should be done by a mobile technician who knows what to do if you want to remove dust or debris from cooling vents, I would recommend using a jet of compressed air and you may suck dust.

  Perhaps this is possible, given that the laptop is two years (or more) and during this time, a lot of dust might collect inside the cooling modules.

  A higher temperature can affect all parts of the laptop also memory, it was the case in my old notebook. BSOD was always because the memory could not be cooled. But I doubt that memtest would help you if the higher temperature would affect modules

  You cannot restore the HARD drive recovery partition. If you are not able to start the HARD drive recovery (pressing F8-> fix my computer-> HD recovery), you must order the disk from Toshiba Web page.

  This s recovery disc that contains the image of Toshiba. Toshiba is a package that contains the Windows operating system (Vista), drivers, tools and additional software. Simply said; This disc would fix the laptop back to factory settings.

If I remove the Virtualbench.dig.Write.vi in the program, the indicators of the input array is able to see the changes applied to the input channels. However, then all the e / s is defined as inputs. I would like that the entries defined as above. Isn't this possible?

  Beecause the default value is an empty array.  Once you have it with 4 elements, save this default value (right click on the table, operations on the data-> save by default).

• Flicker in scorecard views

  Hello, I have a program to display tables of data strings in the table of indicators with 34 rows and 2 columns. I have revised the program adds a function to sort for displays and I noticed that indicators table sparkle. The display name and string numberical flickers power on and off and this twinkling scrolls to the bottom of the table top to bottom and then rehearsals. I tried to fix this, but without success. Even if I remove all revisions, I did the flickering remains. However, I kept the old version of the program and indicators table twinkle not in this version. It seems that editing the program causes this effect even if I take the revisions. I do not see the flicker if I create an array of strings by inserting an indicator of the string of the function table 1 d and then change of dimension 2. The data is displayed with the flicker. Operators are used to seeing the flag Bulletin Board, so I ask for help to solve this problem. I've seen this problem before with indicators of table flicker but do not know how to fix it. I tried to increase the period of update for the display of 100 ms for 1000 ms, but this does not solve the problem. Also, I tried to replace with a new scoreboard in the function palette but still get flicker. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  I have the answer to your problem, but you probably won't believe me until you try it.

  Long story short - any table, falters, no matter how often or rarely update you data at its terminal.  Even if new data are unchanged, you will get the flicker.  As to how that redraws the façade of the tables is something changed LabVIEW 8.0 to 8.2.

  Take a decoration (I usually get a small flat square), drop it in front of your table, while she rides one any part.  Run your VI.  You will notice that the flicker goes away.  Now go back and resize the decoration is only a few pixels in size and drag it to the unused corner space in the upper left of your table.  Now take your brush and the decoration of transparent color.  Run your VI and note the flicker went still.

  Something to have another visual element in front of the table (same one that is totally transparent) removes the flicker, but I suppose that there are only four or five software engineers OR which might give you the reason why.

  I always put the deco in small space just left corner if I can find it again, I should never need to.  Doesn't really matter where it is.

• cRIO cpu load

  I use a cRIO 9074 and LabVIEW 2012.  The cRIO is in scan at 1 kHz mode.  I have a variable motor shared, an ftp server and a web server running on the cRIO.  This is not a complete list of the software 'embedded' running on the cRIO.  I don't have much time on synchronization.

  Without request of the user currently running on the cRIO, System Manager distributed reports 58% CPU use.  When I add my program, taken from the CPU to 100% usage and the cRIO 'freezes' for a few seconds from time to time.  I am convinced that this situation is not acceptable.  I suspect that a "Slacker" 58% CPU utilization should be provided.

  How can I determine what "embedded" software takes care of the CPU so much?

  Followed immediately the question, can I do to reduce the use of CPU of the software "integrated"?

  One thing to be careful is façade execution mode (when you run your code RT with a front panel).  I had really high CPU usage, because I had a few indicators in table on the front panel.  Once I built it to exe, that it went from 100% to 30%.  You can try to build exe, then using Manager of distributed systems to monitor the CPU usage.  Editor of State system should be installed to do this.

• How to read data from a worksheet to a chart in the form of wave at intervals to simulate real-time data

  Hi I have measured data using a SELF-DIAGNOSIS device and that you have downloaded the log files as a .csv I have attatched below.  I'm trying to read the 7th column of data (RPM) and display it on a waveform graph, read line-by-line to simulate driving real-time data. The interval between readings, I'm trying to achieve is 500 Ms because it is the time interval of readings on the worksheet. I'm finishing the two loops when rpm is equal to zero, as happens when the car is off. I have attatched the relevant section of my program below. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  There are two errors in your block diagram.  First of all, as you read the entire table 2D in all at once (which is fine), you make a clumsy (pardon my language) job to make a line of programming.  Once you take the first line of headers, you have the ideal substrate for a loop, which is made of elements of an array (lines) process, one at a time, using its tunnel of indexation.

  The second mistake is to forget data flow.  The loop, I mentioned, or the While loop you use, produced one at a time and points it at 2 Hz thanks to your expectation of 500msec.  You want to give each point to your chart, but the picture is out of the loop, which means that there is No point until the loop ends.

  Here's an easy Question - where you put the indicators in table of waveform?  [Council - I said that "outside the loop is bad"].

  In my program, I have an array of clusters with controls and an array of clusters with indicators.  I created nodes of property for each table that updates the number of columns.  Each column represents a channel that is monitored on a DMM scanning.    My program works as I want to, with the exception of the battery of indicators.

  I have a VI sub which checks the value measured by the DMM and determines if the device measured by the channel complied or not.  In a cluster of indicators, I have three indicators: one for the measured current, one for the time elapsed and a boolean that indicates if the device has reached a limit.  The problem is that on the screen, I don't see the values entered in any of these indicators?  I'm newish to the use of tables of clusters and which do not.  Can someone please help me to see what I'm missing?

  I have attached my Subvi (LabVIEW 2015).  I know that nothing is connected to the elapsed time indicator.  I'll go to that in a bit.

  What indicators are not see all values on? The Output channel indicator shows correctly it seems. Output display will always be no element in the table because you start at zero and then use the Replace table VI subset to add items. This will not work because if your table has a size zero, there is no element to replace. You can use an array to initialize (initially to match the size of the array strings) or use a different method of the edition of the scoreboard.

  Edit: I just noticed you do not use a very useful tool with loops: automatic indexation. This is something short of those. You can get rid of your shift registers and table manipulate nodes.

  If you need of each indicator in the table to have a different label, what you can do is create a cluster that contains a string indicator and your thermometer indicator.  By customizing the chain (flat classic, background transparent and borders) and fix things within the cluster and customize its appearance, you can make it look like your channel is a label for the thermometer.

  Now when you browse the table of clusters, you can write the channel name and the value on the thermometer.

• Table of values of individual indicators

  I read some values from an ini file using a 'loop' for. It gives me an array of values that I use throughout my program. So far so good.

  I would like to take each value in the table and view it in the various indicators on the front panel.

  I solved this by using the "cluster table", then the cluster 'ungroup' and the output of this goes to each indicator. See example attached vi.

  While this works, I was wondering if there is a more elegant solution. In my example, I use only 4 values, so the "ungroup cluster" is not very big. If I need to post say, 40 values, then this unbundle takes up three-quarters of the height of my screen!

  Any suggestions?

  to get the values of the elements of the array using function "Array Index" of the palette of Array. Drag the top or bottom edge to add other terminals. If you leave the terminal 'index' unwired, the function returns 0, 1, 2 element... See the documentation for more details.

  There is no reason to convert the table to a cluster, and then obtain the clusters.

  When you open the stock charts of Yahoo, is there a way to allow Firefox to remember the changes I make when viewing stock charts, including the parameters of the chart and technical indicators? In the view of the chart Explorer comes as I left it on previous visits while Firefox deletes all changes and I have to get them whenever I revisit. In Explorer, I believe that these changes are stored in the form of cookies, but in Firefox I can't seem to find a way to resolve the problem. I got Firefox to delete cookies when leaving.
